Build a transportation and logistics platform
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your transportation and logistics platform, with dispatch, driver stop lists, client bookings, rate cards, proof of delivery, and invoices, and Kliv builds it.

What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t transport management software for large fleets you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the data, the rules, the screens, and the checkout. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking for changes, and run payments through your own Stripe account. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a transportation and logistics platform for your own dispatch rules. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one of them, and that’s what the rest of this page covers.
Why build your own logistics platform?
Transport management software is often priced and shaped for much larger fleets. A regional courier may need a dispatch board that knows local rules: which client needs the same driver every Tuesday, which load needs a certified driver, and which site locks its gates at four.
Kliv builds the dispatch board, driver phone view, and client portal as views of the same jobs table. When a driver marks a job delivered, the client portal and invoice records update from the same fact.
What the dispatch board runs on
The records under a regional courier’s day.
Jobs and stops
A job has pickup, drops, time window, weight, and status: booked, assigned, collected, delivered, or exception. Every screen reads that same status.
Vehicles and drivers
Vehicles carry payload capacity. Drivers carry certifications. The assignment query can refuse an ADR load for a driver without the right card.
Rate cards
Each client has negotiated prices: per drop, per mile band, weekend surcharge. The booking quote and invoice line use the same card.
Proof of delivery
Photo, signature, and timestamp are captured at the doorstep, stored with the job, and visible only to the client whose delivery it was.
Exceptions lane
No one at the address, locked gates, or damaged wrap flags the job, alerts the office, and opens a rebooking flow.
An example: Dee’s regional courier desk
Here’s how one courier might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own fleet, clients, rate cards, driver rules, proof, exceptions, and invoicing.
A regular client books through the portal
A client books two pallets. Their rate card prices the job immediately, so Dee does not need to send a quote email.
Dispatch assigns the right vehicle
The board shows vans with capacity on that corridor. Dee assigns the job to van 9, and the driver’s stop list updates on his phone.
Collection updates every view
The driver taps collected at the dock. The client portal sees the same status because it reads the same job record.
Proof is filed at the doorstep
The driver captures a photo, signature, and timestamp in the goods-in bay. The proof lives on the job record from that moment.
Delivered drops become invoice lines
The delivery count lands against the client’s monthly total. The proof record and the billing record are tied to the same delivered job.
Month-end billing has evidence attached
Every delivered job is drafted at rate-card prices. If a client disputes a delivery, the answer is a photo and timestamp, not a memory.
Describe your fleet workflow
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include fleet size, booking rules, rate cards, driver views, proof, exceptions, and billing. Here are three to build on:
Same-day pallets
Dispatch board, driver stops, and proof photos.
“Build a same-day courier platform for a fleet of fourteen vans and three box trucks. Include a dispatch board, driver stop lists on phones, collected and delivered statuses, and proof-of-delivery photos and signatures attached to each job.”
Client rate cards
Client booking and monthly invoicing.
“Add client accounts where each client books jobs priced automatically from their negotiated rate card, including per-drop prices, mileage bands, and weekend surcharges, with monthly invoices built from delivered jobs.”
Exception handling
Failed deliveries with Slack alerts and rebooking.
“Add an exceptions flow where failed deliveries can be marked as no one at address, locked gates, or damaged goods; alert the office in Slack; attach a reason and photo; and open a rebooking screen.”
How it comes together
The client portal stands on row-level rules: each client sees their own jobs, proof of delivery, and invoices, and cannot read another client’s records.
Per-drop billing is metered usage. Each delivered drop can report to a meter on the client’s subscription, and Stripe turns the month’s count into an invoice. Exceptions can post to the office Slack channel, so a locked gate becomes visible quickly.
A scheduled job can email each client a 06:00 manifest with expected deliveries before their own customers start calling.
A dispatch board is an internal tool with vehicles attached. More operations tools live at internal tools.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder that builds custom web apps from a description. For logistics, it can build dispatch, client booking, driver views, rate cards, proof of delivery, exceptions, and invoicing.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the jobs table, permissions, workflows, screens, and reports around your fleet’s rules.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can change rate cards, driver rules, proof requirements, exception reasons, or invoice timing later by asking.
Do drivers need a separate app?
No. The driver view is the same web app on their phone, with today’s stops, status changes, and camera capture for proof of delivery.
What happens when a client disputes a delivery?
You open the job and the evidence is already there: photo, signature, timestamp, and status history.
Can different clients be billed differently?
Yes. Each client can have its own rate card for per-drop prices, mileage bands, weekend surcharges, or other rules.
Can the office see trouble coming?
Yes. A scheduled check can compare undelivered jobs against their time windows and post at-risk jobs to Slack.
Can clients book jobs themselves?
Yes. Clients can sign in, book jobs, see quotes from their rate card, and track status.
Can clients see each other’s deliveries?
No. Access rules scope each client to their own jobs, proofs, and invoices.
Does Kliv take a cut per delivery?
No. Kliv does not price by deliveries. Payments run through your own Stripe account when you use online billing.
Do clients need Stripe accounts?
No. Clients pay by card or invoice through your setup. Stripe is how money reaches your account.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository.
