What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t dealer software you rent by module. It’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the vehicle records, recon workflow, cost tracking, customer records, public pages, role rules, and reports. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can run it on your own domain, use it with your staff, and keep changing it by asking for changes. It isn’t a template with inventory fields filled in.

Why build your own dealership system?
A used-car lot needs answers that large dealer platforms can bury: where a vehicle is in recon, what costs are already against the VIN, which cars are aging, and what is live on the public site right now.
Kliv builds the system around your lot’s process. Your intake checklist, recon stages, aging thresholds, roles, and public inventory pages all read from the same vehicle records, so the desk, floor, and website do not have separate versions of inventory.
What the lot knows
The records a used-car operation runs on.
Vehicle record
VIN, intake date, acquisition price, transport, parts, mechanical, detail, and every cost that follows. Gross per car is arithmetic on the record.
Recon pipeline
Inspection, mechanical, detail, photos, ready, and sold can be stamped with who moved the car and when. A car stuck in detail is visible before it misses a weekend.
Public lot page
A car marked ready appears on your site, and a sold car disappears. The public page and the manager view read the same row.
Customers and test drives
Every test drive can be logged against the customer and the car, with license checked, keys out, notes, and follow-up date.
Days on lot
Aging counts by car with your thresholds, such as a flag at 30 days and price review at 45 days.

A vehicle is logged at intake
A 2019 CR-V arrives from auction. Intake scans the VIN, takes photos of rear-quarter damage, and records acquisition and transport costs from the start.
Recon costs stay on the VIN
Inspection finds brakes and a windshield chip. Parts and labor post to the vehicle as they happen, so the true cost basis is visible before photos are done.
Ready cars publish automatically
When photos upload and the car moves to ready, its public page appears on the dealership site and the sitemap updates.
Test drives become follow-up work
Two customers drive the CR-V on Saturday. Each test drive stores license status, notes, and a follow-up date, so Monday’s call list is already there.
Sold cars update the reports
When the deal closes, the listing disappears and the final gross posts against every cost the vehicle accumulated.

How it comes together
Inventory pages are readable to search engines. Every ready car can get a real prerendered page, and the sitemap can update on its own. A shopper searching for a specific trim in your town can land on the car.
Analytics can show which channel sold the car. Visits and inquiry forms can tie back to vehicles, so you can see whether a buyer came from an email, search result, or another channel.
Roles match the floor. Sales can see inventory and customers. Recon can see the pipeline and vendor tasks. Managers can see cost basis and gross. Those rules are enforced on the rows, not by hiding menu items.
Feeds can go where else you list. Marketplaces that ingest inventory files can receive a generated export from your rows on a schedule you set.

What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder that creates custom web apps from a description. For a dealership, it builds vehicle records, recon stages, cost tracking, public inventory pages, customer records, roles, and reports.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the database, screens, role rules, and public pages for your lot. It is not a generic inventory spreadsheet.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can ask for changes later, such as new recon stages, new aging thresholds, a public page change, or a new export.
Can it run our public website too?
Yes. The lot page can be part of the same app on your own domain, reading the same vehicle rows the desk sees.
Do we see true gross per car?
Yes, if costs are logged as they happen. Gross is sale price minus the costs on the vehicle record, rather than a spreadsheet rebuild.
Can salespeople see what a car cost us?
Only if you allow it. Cost basis and gross can be scoped to managers, while sales sees the fields it needs.
What about financing and paperwork?
The system can track deal state, such as hold window, docs requested, signed, and delivered. Your F&I provider can keep doing the financing itself.
Can it publish and unpublish cars automatically?
Yes. A vehicle marked ready can publish to the public lot page, and a vehicle marked sold can disappear from the site immediately.
Can it track test drives?
Yes. Test drives can be logged against both customer and vehicle, with license status, notes, and follow-up dates.
Will vehicle pages show up in search?
Yes. Public inventory pages can be prerendered for crawlers, and the sitemap can update as inventory changes.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The public site and staff app can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
