We make Kliv, one of the alternatives on this list, so we're not neutral. Every other product's prices and features come from its own pricing page or docs, checked on October 29, 2026 and linked under Sources.
Why look for a Base44 alternative?
- Two credit pools to manage. Building uses message credits; email, AI calls, workflows and backend functions in your live app use integration credits. When integration credits run out, those features fail in your app.
- No rollover. Unused credits expire at each monthly reset.
- Code sync and payments cost more. Two-way GitHub sync and payments (Stripe or Base44 Payments) start at the Builder plan, $50 a month.
- Company sign-in and data location. For workspaces created since October 1, 2026, SSO and data residency need Business or Enterprise, and Business has no published price (you can upgrade to it yourself from billing settings).
- You'd rather not build on Wix. Base44 has been owned by Wix since June 2025, and one of its two payment options is Base44 Payments powered by Wix.
If none of these matter to you, Base44 may be a fine choice. Our Base44 review covers its plans in detail.

1. Lovable
Lovable is the most direct Base44 alternative: the same prompt-to-web-app idea, with a built-in backend. Pro is $25 a month ($21 yearly) for 100 credits, and one balance covers building, hosting and AI features in your app. Git sync works on every plan, Free included, there are no seat fees, and monthly credits roll over once. It doesn't build mobile store apps, and built-in payments start at Pro. Lovable can import a Base44 project from a ZIP.
2. Replit
Replit is a cloud coding platform with an AI Agent, and the best fit here for a true native iOS or Android app (Base44 wraps a web app instead). Core is $20 a month ($18 yearly) with $20 of credits plus a Free Mode allowance for everyday work; paid work is priced by effort, and Replit asks before it starts. You see all the code. The free plan only keeps one published app online for 30 days.
3. Bolt
Bolt bills in tokens rather than per-message credits. Free gives 1M tokens a month (300K a day) with Bolt branding; Pro is $25 a month for 10M tokens with rollover and a custom domain. It builds web apps and mobile apps with Expo. Bolt notes that larger projects use more tokens per message, because the AI reads your project files each time.
4. v0 by Vercel
v0 builds React apps with tools like Next.js, Tailwind and shadcn/ui, syncs with GitHub on every plan and deploys to Vercel. It's a good pick if developers will maintain the app later. Free users get $5 of one-time credits and 7 messages a day; Plus is $30 per user a month. Services such as a database come from Vercel Marketplace integrations rather than being built in.
5. Bubble
Bubble is a visual no-code builder with an AI assistant, for people who'd rather arrange screens and workflows than prompt. It builds web apps and native mobile apps. Starter is $32 a month billed yearly for the web, and the Free plan has no live site. Bubble apps can't be exported as code, so moving off Bubble means rebuilding.
6. Kliv: stuck, or out of credits? Try Kliv
Kliv is our product, so weigh this accordingly. If Base44 can't build the app you have in mind, or you've run out of credits, try Kliv. It has a stronger foundation and covers more ground, so you can build more, and build stronger apps.
On Kliv, sign-in, the database, payments on your own Stripe account, email (100 a day) and hosting are in every plan, Free included, built to work together. There are no per-message credits: builder usage refreshes over rolling 5-hour and 7-day windows, and at a limit only building pauses while your live apps keep running. Kliv builds web apps for phone and desktop browsers, not App Store or Google Play apps. Unlike Base44, there are no integration credits, and SSO comes with Max 20x at a published $99 a month.
| Plan | Price | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Up to 25 apps, the smallest builder allowance, no custom domain |
| Pro | $19 a month or $199 a year | Up to 1,000 apps, more builder usage, 1 custom domain, no Kliv branding |
| Max 5x | $49 a month or $490 a year | Up to 2,500 apps, about 5 times Pro's builder usage, 5 custom domains |
| Max 20x | $99 a month or $990 a year | Up to 10,000 apps, about 20 times Pro's builder usage, 20 custom domains, SSO |
Which Base44 alternative should you pick?
Lovable: same approach, one credit balance, Git sync on every plan.
Replit, or Bubble if you'd rather build visually.
v0 or Replit.
Kliv: a stronger foundation that covers more ground, so you can build more, and build stronger apps.

Questions people ask
- What is the best alternative to Base44?
- For the most similar product, Lovable. For a native mobile app, Replit. For code developers can take over, v0. For plan-based pricing with email and payments included, Kliv (our product).
- Is there a cheaper alternative to Base44?
- Base44 Starter is $20 a month. Replit Core is also $20, Kliv Pro is $19, and Lovable Pro and Bolt Pro are $25. Compare what each includes: Base44 also meters email and AI in your app with integration credits.
- Can I move my app from Base44 to another builder?
- You can export the source as a ZIP, or sync it to GitHub from the Builder plan. Lovable's FAQ says it can import a Base44 ZIP and move the database and users to its own backend. Elsewhere, expect to reconnect the backend yourself, because Base44's database and sign-in stay on Base44.
- Which Base44 alternatives build mobile apps?
- Replit builds native iOS and Android apps, Bubble has native mobile plans, and Bolt builds mobile apps with Expo. Lovable and Kliv build web apps only.
- Is Base44 owned by Wix?
- Yes. Wix announced the acquisition in June 2025, and Base44's site footer reads "© 2026 Wix.com Ltd."
