Build a survey and feedback system
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your feedback program — anonymity, branching, cohorts, dashboards, reminders, Slack alerts, and action items — and it builds the app.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a survey template tool — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, forms, branching rules, dashboards, alerts, reports, and access rules. What you get is a real web app that’s yours, on your own domain, and you can change it later by asking.
On this page, that app is a survey and feedback system. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; feedback workflows are one example.
Why build your own survey tool?
Marketing survey tools are often built for one public link and a CSV at the end. An employee pulse may need the opposite: the same people every quarter, an anonymity promise that is built into the data, cohort dashboards, and action items for managers.
Kliv builds the instrument around those rules. Participation and answers can be stored separately, branching can live on question records, and dashboards can be scoped by role.
What the pulse is made of
These are the records underneath a survey program people can answer honestly.
Surveys and versions
Each pulse stores the questions, window, and cohort it went to. Q3 is comparable to Q2 because the version that ran is stored.
Questions that branch
A driver who rates dispatch below 3 gets the follow-up; everyone else does not. The branch is a rule on the question.
The anonymity wall
Participation and answers can live in separate tables with no linking key, so completion can be tracked without identifying answers.
Depots and cohorts
Responses can carry cohort labels such as depot, tenure band, and shift. Small cohorts can be suppressed below a floor you set.
From score to action
A flagged theme can become an action item with an owner and due date, linked to the pulse that raised it.
What runs itself
These are the parts that used to be calendar reminders.
Reminders without naming answers
A scheduled job nudges non-completers through the window using the participation table, which does not touch answers.
Slack when a threshold breaks
A depot score under 3.0 can post to that manager’s channel when the window closes. Only the aggregate travels.
Dashboards per audience
Executives can see company trends; a depot manager can see their own depot and nothing beyond it.
Free text that gets read
Open comments can be stored without authorship and semantically searched, so “new roster” finds related comments by meaning.
Results on your templates
When the window closes, summaries can go out on your own email templates: one to leadership and one back to the floor.
An example: Nisha’s three-depot employee pulse
Here’s how one business might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own survey, anonymity promise, cohorts, alerts, and action rules.
The quarterly pulse opens
Nisha sends the pulse to 300 employees across three depots. Participation is tracked separately from answers.
Branching asks the right follow-up
A driver who rates dispatch below 3 gets a follow-up question about scheduling. Others move on without seeing it.
Small cohorts stay hidden
A night-shift cohort with fewer than five responses is suppressed in dashboards, so arithmetic cannot identify one person.
A low score reaches the manager
When the window closes, a depot score under 3.0 posts to that manager’s Slack channel as an aggregate.
The response becomes an action item
A flagged theme turns into an action item with an owner and due date, and the next pulse can show whether the score moved.
Describe the feedback system you need
Kliv builds from your description, so include the audience, anonymity rules, question logic, cohort rules, dashboards, alerts, and follow-up actions.
Quarterly pulse
Anonymous responses, branching, depot dashboards, and suppression.
“Build a quarterly employee engagement survey for 300 employees with anonymous responses stored separately from participation, branching follow-up questions, depot-level dashboards, small-cohort suppression below five responses, and action items for flagged themes.”
Post-delivery feedback
Three questions after each drop and Slack alerts.
“Build a customer feedback tool that emails a three-question survey after each delivery, links the response to the delivery record, and alerts the depot manager in Slack when a rating comes in at two stars or lower.”
Training feedback
Per-session scores and trainer dashboards.
“Build a feedback form for our forklift-certification training with per-session results, trainer dashboards, anonymous comments for groups of at least five, and a quarterly summary email to the safety lead.”
How it comes together
The anonymity promise is in the data. If you say answers must never connect to people, the tables can be built that way. Future changes are migrations, so the promise stays part of the structure.
Manager access is row-level. A depot manager’s account can read its depot’s aggregates and nothing else. The rule applies to dashboards, exports, and search.
The wall can be tested. A Scenario can sign in as a manager and try to find individual answers against a disposable copy of the data, producing a receipt showing what was refused.

Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For surveys, it builds the forms, data structure, anonymity rules, dashboards, alerts, and reports.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the survey workflow and database around your rules, not a fixed survey theme.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. Ask for new questions, cohort rules, dashboards, alerts, or action workflows, and Kliv updates the app.
Is anonymity real, or a checkbox?
It can be structural. Participation and answers can be stored in separate tables with no linking key, and small cohorts can be suppressed.
Can managers see only their own teams?
Yes. Access is enforced at the row, so a manager can see their own aggregates and nothing outside their scope.
Do respondents need accounts?
Your choice. They can sign in through your identity system or use one-time links that mark participation while storing answers separately.
What happens to free-text comments?
They can be stored without authorship, suppressed for small cohorts, and searched by meaning.
Can low scores trigger alerts?
Yes. A score below your threshold can post to Slack or create an action item for the right owner.
Can we compare surveys over time?
Yes. Survey versions are stored, so results from Q2 and Q3 can be compared against the questions that actually ran.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The survey app can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s source syncs to your own Git repository, and the data is yours to export.

Make the feedback promise structural
Describe what you ask, how anonymity must work, who can see the results, and what should happen next. Kliv builds the survey system around those rules.
