Build a supplier management system
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your supplier process — approvals, receipts, scores, certificates, cases, photos, and replies — and it builds the system.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t an enterprise procurement suite — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, supplier portal, workflows, files, reports, and access rules. What you get is a real web app that’s yours, on your own domain, and you can change it later by asking.
On this page, that app is a supplier management system. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; purchasing and quality tools are one example.
Why build your own supplier system?
A small purchasing team may depend on a dozen suppliers but still need facts that are hard to keep in email: which supplier is approved for which part, which deliveries were late, which certificate expires in August, and what happened on the last non-conformance.
Kliv builds the system at that scale. Deliveries, exceptions, certificates, approvals, and supplier replies become records attached to the supplier and part they concern.
What the purchasing book holds
Each fact is attached to the supplier it judges.
Approved supplier and part pairs
Approval belongs to a combination: this supplier for this part. A purchase outside the pairing can require a reason.
Receipts and scores
Each delivery records on-time, full, and correct states. The supplier score is computed from those rows over the window you choose.
Non-conformance cases
A bad delivery becomes a case with photos, quantities, and a due date. The supplier reply attaches to the same case.
Certificates and expiry dates
Quality certificates, declarations, and insurance can each have an expiry date. A lapsed certificate can grey the supplier on the reorder screen.
Second sources
For every critical part, you can record who else is approved and what they last quoted, so alternate sourcing is a lookup.
An example: Ozan’s electronics assembly plant
Here’s how one business might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own suppliers, parts, receipt checks, and case rules.
Goods-in catches a wrong reel
A receipt is checked against the order, and the reel marking does not match the part. The delivery row is marked wrong, and a case opens from the same screen.
The case keeps the evidence
Photos, count, order number, and quarantine location attach to the case, so the reel is not just left in a corner.
The supplier replies on the case
The supplier’s response lands next to the evidence it addresses. The answer is not trapped in Ozan’s email thread.
The fix gets a due date
The replacement reel and corrective action each get due dates. The case stays open until the evidence is complete.
The score updates from the receipt
The bad delivery becomes one more row in the delivery history. At the next review, the score comes from recorded receipts, not memory.
Describe the supplier process you need
Kliv builds from your description, so include approved-pair rules, receipt checks, cases, certificate dates, supplier access, and reports.
Component supplier register
Approved parts, delivery scores, and photo cases.
“Build a supplier management system for our electronics plant with approved suppliers per part number, delivery scoring from receipts for on-time, full, and correct, non-conformance cases with photo evidence, and supplier replies on the case record.”
Ingredient supplier files
Safety documents and receipt checks.
“Build a supplier system for our food production kitchen that tracks approved ingredient sources, allergen and safety documents with expiry dates, delivery temperature checks per receipt, and alerts 60 days before a document expires.”
Print and packaging desk
Artwork approvals, scoring, and price history.
“Build a supplier tracker for our packaging buyers with artwork approval states per supplier, delivery scoring from receipts, and price history per item so requotes include the last quoted price and date.”
Where the leverage comes from
Suppliers can sign in too. A supplier login can show exactly that supplier’s orders, cases, and documents. Other suppliers’ terms stay hidden by row-level access rules.
Certificate checks can run on schedule. A monthly job can email certificates that expire within 60 days, so August’s lapse becomes June’s task.
Photos stay with the argument. Goods-in evidence lives in the file store, attached to the case it proves and visible only to the people allowed on that case.

Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For supplier management, it builds the supplier records, cases, scores, files, and access rules you describe.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds your database, supplier portal, workflows, reports, and admin screens.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. Ask for new certificate fields, scoring windows, case steps, or supplier permissions, and Kliv updates the app.
How does a supplier get scored?
Scores come from delivery rows, such as on-time, full, and correct. You choose the window, and the score recalculates from those rows.
Can suppliers see their own performance?
Yes, if you allow it. A supplier login can show their orders, cases, and score without exposing anyone else’s data.
What happens when a certificate expires?
The expiry date acts. The supplier can be greyed on reorder screens, affected orders can be flagged, and scheduled reminders can warn you ahead of time.
Can cases include photos?
Yes. Photos and files attach to the non-conformance case and follow that case’s access rules.
Can I track approved suppliers per part?
Yes. Approval can be tied to a supplier-part pair, so approval for one part does not imply approval for another.
We’re small — is this overkill?
No. You describe the small surface you need: suppliers, parts, receipts, cases, certificates, and reports.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The app can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s source syncs to your own Git repository, and the data is yours to export.
