Build a social media management system
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your social media workflow, and it builds the calendar, approvals, asset library, location scopes, and performance log.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t another posting scheduler — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the records, rules, screens, approvals, and integrations. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can run it on your own domain, connect it to your own accounts, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template workflow with fixed columns.
On this page, that app is a social media management system for the work around publishing. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; marketing operations tools are one example.
Why build your own social media system?
Many tools focus on the button that publishes. For a team, the harder work is often around that button: which location approved which caption, which image has the right release, which campaign owns a post, and where the performance numbers go afterward.
Kliv builds the system around the bottleneck. Posts, assets, approvals, locations, channels, and performance logs live in one database, so the calendar, library, and sign-off trail agree about what is ready.
What the calendar keeps straight
A planner is a set of records shown on a calendar.
Posts and versions
Every post can have channel, location, publish date, caption drafts, and author. The version that went live is marked on the record.
The asset library
Photos and clips live in the file store with rules per file. Campaign images can be open to every location while released images stay tied to their allowed campaign.
Approval states
Drafted, reviewed, ready, posted. A post cannot be marked ready without a reviewer on the record.
Locations and channels
Each café manager can see their own calendar and channels. Opening another shop’s post can return nothing because the row is not theirs.
The performance log
Reach and clicks can be recorded against the same post row the caption lives on. The month’s report becomes a query.
The brand-voice agent
An agent can draft from a knowledge base of your brand guide and approved captions, then attach the draft to the post record for review.
An example: Alva’s six-café group
Here’s how one marketing team might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own locations, channels, and approvals.
A campaign becomes calendar rows
Alva drafts twelve autumn menu posts across six locations. Each lands on the calendar with channel, date, location, and an empty reviewer field.
Assets attach once
The photographer’s batch uploads to the file library. Each post links the images it uses, and release dates stay on the asset records.
Approvals clear the queue
Location managers approve their own captions, while head office approves campaign copy. Posts without reviewers stay out of the ready state.
Launch week gets a daily checklist
Each morning, a scheduled job posts the day’s checklist to Slack with posts due by location. Ready work is not forgotten.
The report reads the same records
Performance numbers attach to each post and roll up by location and campaign.
Describe the social media workflow you want
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include calendars, approvals, assets, scopes, notifications, and reports. Here are three to build on:
Multi-location planner
One calendar, six cafés, approval, and Slack reminders.
“Build a content calendar for a restaurant group with six locations, per-location Instagram and Facebook channels, location-manager approval before ready, a shared asset library, and a Slack digest every morning listing the posts due that day.”
Agency client calendars
Client-specific approval and agency-wide view.
“Build a social media planner for my agency where each client signs in to see and approve only their own calendar, assets, and comments, while my team sees all clients across one board with approval status by post.”
Solo creator pipeline
Ideas, drafts, posting checklist, and results.
“Build a content pipeline for one creator with an idea backlog, drafting board, posting checklist for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, and a weekly log of views, clicks, and comments for each post.”
How it comes together
Rows know whose they are. Per-client and per-location privacy is enforced on the records. A user can read only the rows that belong to their client or location.
Slack can be a work surface. The app can send the morning checklist or approval request to the right workspace channel. The connection is authorized once and held by the platform.
Drafts can use your own voice. A knowledge base can hold your brand guide and approved captions. The agent drafts from that material, and humans still approve the final post.
Planners like this are one kind of internal tool. The wider category is covered under internal tools on Kliv.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the social media workflow you need, it builds the working app, and you own the result.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds posts, calendars, approval states, asset records, location scopes, and reports for your team.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. Ask for a new approval step, channel, location, asset rule, Slack notification, or report.
Does it publish to the networks for me?
No. Publishing stays in each network’s own tools. This app is the calendar, approval trail, asset library, checklist, and performance log around that work.
Can a client approve posts without seeing other clients?
Yes. Client scoping is enforced on the records, so a client account sees only its own calendar, assets, and history.
Where do photos live, and who may use them?
Photos and clips live in the app’s file store. Access and usage rights can be fields on each asset, including campaign and expiry date.
Can the agent write captions in our voice?
It can draft from a knowledge base you provide, such as a brand guide and approved captions. Humans still approve before a post is ready.
Can it send a daily checklist?
Yes. A scheduled job can send a Slack or email checklist with the day’s posts and approval status.
Can locations have separate calendars?
Yes. Locations can have their own channels and views, while head office keeps a full view.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The app can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
