Build a private tutor booking site
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the private tutor booking site you need — weekly slots, lesson packs, progress notes, parent emails, and payments — and it builds it on your own domain.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a booking widget or a tutoring marketplace — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the site you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the pages, booking rules, student records, pack balances, parent emails, and payment flow. What you get is a real website and app that’s yours, on your own domain. You can change it later by asking for changes. It isn’t a template calendar.
On this page, that app is a private tutor booking site. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this one is for a tutoring practice with recurring students, prepaid lessons, and parent communication.
Why build your own tutor booking site?
A tutoring practice is not a stream of strangers choosing open half-hours. It is often the same students every week, recurring slots, prepaid lesson packs, and parents who want to know what happened in the lesson.
Kliv builds the site around that shape. The student, slot, pack, and note home are stored together, so the calendar, balance, and parent email agree without retyping after each lesson.
Slots, packs, and notes
These records move out of your head first.
Students and parents
Each student stores subject, school year, exam goal, and the parent who pays, books, and reads notes.
The weekly slot
A recurring Thursday 5 p.m. booking can belong to one student until term ends. Another family is offered a different time.
The lesson pack
A ten-lesson pack at $570 is bought once. Each attended lesson draws one down, and the remaining count sits on the parent’s page.
The progress note
After each lesson, you record what was covered, what was difficult, and what comes next. A term’s notes are ready when parents ask.
The email home
The note becomes a short email to the parent that evening. Parents only see their own child’s messages and balances.
An example: Delia’s maths tutoring practice
Here’s how one tutor might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own subjects, slots, prices, pack rules, and parent communication.
The first assessment creates the student file
Delia meets Amir before selling a pack. She writes the opening note: strong on algebra, guesses at fractions. That note starts the record.
The parent buys the pack and books the slot
Amir’s mother buys ten lessons for $570 from her phone and chooses Thursday at 5 p.m. The receipt, balance, and recurring calendar all update together.
The term repeats without retyping
Reminders go out before each lesson. A flu reschedule moves one week without breaking the series. The pack ticks down when lessons are taught.
Progress notes show the pattern
In March, the notes mention fractions three weeks in a row. The email home says so clearly, so Amir’s mother extends before the exam panic starts.
Top-up happens before the next booking
When the pack reaches zero, the next booking routes through a top-up. In June, the family pauses for summer and resumes in September.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so include subjects, slot rules, pack sizes, prices, parent access, notes, and emails. Here are three examples:
Maths tutor practice
Weekly slots, packs, and notes home.
“Build a booking site for my maths tutoring practice with recurring weekly slots through the school term, ten-lesson prepaid packs at $570, progress notes after each session, and a parent email sent each evening after I write the note.”
Online language tutor
Video lessons across time zones.
“Build a booking site for my online Spanish tutoring with five-lesson packs at $275, time-zone-aware scheduling, video lesson links, and a vocabulary note sent to each student after class.”
Test-prep intensive
A fixed cohort with a deadline.
“Build a site for my eight-week test-prep intensive where families buy the full $840 block up front, sessions run twice a week, parents get a score-trend email after every practice test, and no one can book after the cohort fills.”
The part parents never see
The calendar enforces its own rules. Open hours are yours to publish; recurring slots sit on top of them; overlapping bookings are turned away by the same rules that store them.
The pack is a balance. Mark a lesson taught and the pack decrements. Skip it and it does not. If a family moves away mid-pack, you approve any refund before money moves.
Test the term first. In the Sandbox, you can sell a test pack, spend it across fast-forwarded Thursdays, and practice a mid-pack refund before your Stripe account is connected.
A tutoring practice grows like many local businesses: one family tells another, and the radius stays manageable. Businesses with a radius is Kliv’s page for that pattern.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For a tutor booking site, it builds the public pages, booking calendar, student records, pack balances, parent emails, and payment flow around your practice.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app and website. Your students, parents, recurring slots, packs, notes, and payments live in a database built for your practice.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can change pack prices, booking rules, note fields, parent emails, or the page layout by asking for changes.
Do parents book lessons, or do I?
Either. You can let parents pick open hours, assign recurring term slots yourself, or mix both approaches.
What happens when a lesson pack runs out?
The balance lives on the same record as bookings. A pack at zero can route the next booking through a top-up page.
Can one parent see another family’s notes?
No. Access rules scope each parent to their own children’s notes, balances, and schedules.
Do I need a Stripe account to start?
No. You can build and test packs, bookings, and refunds in the Sandbox first. Connect your own Stripe account when real families are ready to pay.
Can families pay online?
Yes. Packs can be bought online through your own Stripe account, and receipts attach to the family record.
Do parents need Stripe accounts?
No. They just pay by card.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The booking site can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, and your student records are yours.
