What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a learning management system you configure — it’s an AI app builder that creates software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: curriculum records, diagnostics, student paths, mastery rules, hint logic, parent updates, billing, and admin screens. For paid enrollment, payments can run on your own Stripe account. You can change the app later by asking. It isn’t a template.

Why build your own learning platform?
Rosa runs an after-school algebra program with 150 students and six tutors. Students need different paths through the same curriculum, and the order matters: factoring should come before quadratics.
Kliv builds that map as software. Skills, prerequisites, diagnostics, attempts, mastery, hints, tutor review, and parent updates all become records. Tutors stop guessing who is stuck because the app can show it from the work students actually did.
What the center knows
Personalization starts with clear records and rules.
The skill map
The curriculum is stored as skills, prerequisites, and progression rules. For example, factoring can gate quadratics.
Students and paths
Each student has an ordered path through the map, recomputed from results. Two students in the same room can be in different units.
Attempts and mastery
Each attempt is a row. In the source example, mastery flips after three clean solves across spaced days.
The worked-example library
The center’s own solutions are indexed so hints can show the center’s method one step at a time.
The parent’s view
Parents see a read-only view of their own child and can receive a Friday email with progress in plain words.
Seats and pauses
Enrollment can be $95 a month per student. A summer pause can stop billing while keeping the student’s path ready for September.

Here’s how one center might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own curriculum, diagnostic, mastery rules, hints, billing, and parent updates.
The diagnostic places the student on the map
A new student completes a 40-minute diagnostic. The result is not just a score; it assigns which skills are secure, which are shaky, and what comes next.
Practice follows the student’s path
Each session’s problem set comes from the path. If the student asks for help, the hint uses the center’s worked method one step at a time.
A stall flags the tutor early
Two failed attempts on the same skill trigger a tutor flag before frustration becomes a larger problem.
Parents get a clear weekly update
On Friday, parents receive three plain sentences from the attempt rows: what was mastered, what is next, and where help would help.
The next term keeps the history
At term end, mastery reports go home. Returning students resume from the last attempt row instead of starting over.

How it comes together
Prerequisites are enforced as rules. The skill map lives in the database, and the query that builds tomorrow’s work respects it. A student is not assigned quadratics while factoring is unmastered.
Hints come from your examples. The worked-example library is indexed, and the hint assistant retrieves the center’s method for the current skill. Transcripts can be reviewed by tutors.
Friday emails can run on schedule. A scheduled server function reads each child’s attempt rows and sends a digest on the center’s template.

What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder that creates custom web apps from a description. For tutoring, it can build skill maps, diagnostics, student paths, mastery rules, hints, parent views, billing, and staff dashboards.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds your records, screens, rules, permissions, and workflows around your curriculum.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can change the skill map, mastery rules, diagnostics, reports, pricing, or parent emails later.
Who can see a child’s data?
The child, their parents, and the center’s staff, according to the access rules you define. Other students’ records are not available to that account.
Does the hint assistant just give answers?
Not if you define it otherwise. In the source example, it reveals the center’s worked method step by step and stops short of the final answer.
Can this work outside math?
Yes. The skill map is data. Reading levels, grammar, music theory, coding, and other subjects can use the same pattern with different skills.
Can parents get weekly updates automatically?
Yes. Scheduled jobs can send progress emails from real attempt rows.
What happens to billing over summer?
A summer pause can stop billing while keeping the student’s path and history ready for September.
Does Kliv take a cut of enrollment payments?
No. Payments run through your own Stripe account. Card fees are between you and Stripe.
Do parents need Stripe accounts?
No. They just pay by card.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, and your records are exportable.
