    What is Kliv?

Kliv isn’t a quiz product you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.

You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the logic, the screens, the files, and the workflows. What you get is a real web app that’s yours, live on your own domain, and you can keep changing it by asking for changes. It isn’t a template with your logo on it.

On this page, that app is an AI-powered quiz platform for exam prep. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; quiz platforms are one example.

Why build your own quiz platform?

Most quiz tools can shuffle questions. Exam prep often needs more than that. The questions need syllabus codes, the mock exams need to match the real exam blueprint, and students need to know which areas are actually weak.

Kliv builds the platform around the exam’s structure. Questions carry syllabus areas, mocks follow the right mix, every answer is stored, and the weak-area map comes from real attempts instead of guesswork.

    What the bank knows

An exam-prep platform measures readiness. These are the records it keeps.

    The question bank

Every question carries its syllabus area, difficulty, and a reference to your own notes. The bank is structured data, not a shuffled pile of cards.

    Timed exam mode

Mock exams are assembled to the authority’s blueprint, with the right number of questions from each area. The timer runs on the server, so closing a tab does not stop the attempt.

    Attempts and weak areas

Every answer is stored with the question, area, and time spent. Each student’s weak-area map is calculated from that history.

    Grounded explanations

When a student misses a question, the explanation comes from your uploaded notes and points to the relevant section. The app answers from your material, not from a forum.

    Passes and schools

Sell a 90-day pass once through checkout, then close access when it ends. Schools can enroll whole classes as organizations with seats.

An example: Tomas’s pilot theory prep

Here’s how one instructor might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own exam, syllabus, and pass rules.

    01

A first mock shows the weak area

Tomas gives a student a timed mock with the real blueprint and no hints. The score is useful, but the weak-area map is the main result: meteorology is clearly red.

    02

Practice aims at the weak areas

Drills lean toward the red areas, then change as new attempt rows come in. The student does not have to choose what to study next; the history points the way.

    03

Each miss opens the right notes

A wrong answer opens Tomas’s ground-school notes at the relevant section. The student sees why the answer was wrong, using the material Tomas trusts.

    04

Readiness follows a rule Tomas wrote

Tomas sets the rule: two consecutive mocks above the pass mark means ready. The account flips to ready only when the attempt history proves it, and the student can see why.

    05

    The next course is connected

After the mock trend crosses the pass mark, the congratulations email includes a discount code for the instrument-rating bank. The next exam uses the same structure.

Describe what you want to build

Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Name the exam, the question structure, the access rules, and what the AI should answer from. Here are three to build on:

    kliv.dev

    Pilot theory prep

Syllabus codes, blueprint mocks, and explanations from your notes.

“Build an AI-powered quiz platform for private pilot theory prep. Tag questions by syllabus area and difficulty, assemble timed mocks to the exam blueprint, show a weak-area map after every attempt, and explain missed questions using my uploaded ground-school notes.”

    kliv.dev

    Real-estate license drills

State banks, targeted practice, and sold access passes.

“Build an exam-prep site for real-estate licensing. Keep separate question banks for Texas, Florida, and California, sell a 60-day access pass for $49 per state, create timed practice tests, and weight drills toward each student’s weakest topics.”

    kliv.dev

    Food-safety certification

Team enrollment and certificates per employee.

“Build a certification quiz platform for restaurant staff. Managers enroll employees in teams, each employee drills the hygiene question bank, the final test has a 75% pass mark, and a completion certificate is generated for every passing employee.”

    How it comes together

The blueprint is a rule you can test. “Twelve navigation, eight air law, ten meteorology, forty minutes” becomes the rule that assembles mocks. Kliv writes tests as it builds, so the assembly logic has to prove it produces the right mix.

The explainer stays grounded. It retrieves from the notes Tomas uploaded and answers about the missed question. It sees the signed-in student’s attempts and nobody else’s, and every exchange is stored as a transcript.

Schools can buy seats. A ground school can buy 20 seats as an organization. The instructor sees class-level weak areas, and each student sees only their own attempts. Checkout, seats, and access can run on the platform’s own Stripe account — $79 per pass, or whatever price you set.

Most exam-prep businesses grow into full course catalogs. When yours does, the courses page covers the mechanics of selling them.

    Common questions

    What exactly is Kliv?

Kliv is an AI app builder that creates custom web apps from a description. For a quiz platform, that means the question bank, timed exams, attempt history, explanations, access rules, and admin screens are built around your exam.

Do I get a real app, or a template?

A real app. Kliv builds the database, logic, screens, and workflows for your case. You are not filling in a fixed quiz template.

Can I change it after it’s built?

Yes. You ask for changes in plain words. You can add syllabus areas, change pass rules, add another exam bank, or adjust access without starting over.

Can questions include diagrams and charts?

Yes. Images live in the app’s file store and show with the question: navigation charts, weather symbols, loading graphs, or any other exam material you use.

How honest are the timed mocks?

The timer runs on the server and every answer is stored with its timestamp. Closing the tab does not stop the clock, and reopening resumes the same attempt.

Does the explainer make up answers?

It is built to answer from the notes you upload and the question at hand. If your notes do not cover something, the transcript shows the gap so you can improve the material.

How do schools enroll a class?

A school joins as an organization, buys seats, and invites students. The instructor can see class-level analytics while each student sees only their own attempts.

    Can I sell access passes?

Yes. You can sell a fixed access pass, such as 60 or 90 days, and access closes automatically when the pass ends.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. The app can run on your own domain and go live as soon as you build it.

Can I move off Kliv later?

Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.

Will search engines be able to read public pages?

Yes. Public pages are prerendered so search engines and AI assistants can read them, and the sitemap is generated automatically.

Do I need a separate admin tool?

No. The quiz platform is its own admin. You can add questions, edit notes, review attempts, and manage passes inside the app.
