Build an AI-powered exam preparation and tutoring platform
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your exam prep platform, and it builds the question bank, timed mocks, study plans, subscriptions, and tutor assistant around your own worked solutions.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a quiz product with a fixed course library — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the question bank, study logic, screens, subscriptions, and tutor assistant. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can run it on your own accounts, including your own Stripe account if you sell access, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is an exam preparation and tutoring platform. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build your own exam prep platform?
Niche exams often depend on a tutor’s own worked solutions and understanding of where candidates stall. A generic quiz app can hold questions, but it cannot hold your teaching method, your notation, or your schedule around sitting dates.
Kliv can build the platform around your materials: syllabus codes, worked solutions, timed mocks, study plans, and access rules in one app.
What the platform holds
The app stores both the exam knowledge and the deadline each learner is working toward.
The question bank
Each item stores syllabus code, difficulty, and your worked solution. Weak and strong topics come from attempt records, not guesswork.
Candidates and sitting dates
A candidate’s target sitting drives the plan. The daily drill knows whether the exam is two weeks away or fifteen.
Mock sittings
Timed mocks store answers, time spent, topic, and score. Review starts from evidence.
The tutor’s corpus
Your notes and worked solutions are indexed so the assistant can answer from your method and wording.
Subscriptions that pause
A $45 monthly plan can pause after a sitting and resume for the next exam, with attempt history kept intact.
An example: Tomás’s actuarial exam prep
Here’s how one tutoring business might use an exam prep platform built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own exam, bank, plans, and access rules.
A candidate’s sitting date sets the plan
The candidate enters her sitting date. The platform spreads the syllabus across sixteen weeks and starts with the topics her diagnostic missed.
A weak topic triggers help
After three wrong attempts on order statistics, she asks the tutor assistant. It answers from Tomás’s worked solution for that problem class.
A mock exam changes the drills
The timed mock uses the official length and scoring rules Tomás set. Next week’s drills reweight toward the two weakest syllabus codes.
The final week narrows the work
The plan stops introducing new material and focuses on the stubborn topics. The rule is part of the study plan, not a reminder.
A passed exam pauses access
After the sitting, the subscription pauses. The question bank closes, billing stops, and attempt history waits for the next exam window.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include the exam structure, question tags, timing, study-plan rules, and access terms. Here are three to build on:
Actuarial exam prep
Syllabus-coded drills that count down to the sitting.
“Build an exam prep platform for actuarial candidates preparing for Exam P. Tag each question by syllabus code and difficulty, store my worked solution, create a sixteen-week plan from each candidate’s sitting date, run three-hour timed mocks, and charge $45 per month with pauses between exam windows.”
Driving theory drills
Daily practice against the official pool.
“Build a driving-theory prep app with the official question pool organized by category, ten-minute daily drills, a timed mock test that matches the real exam length and pass mark, and progress reports by category.”
Nursing board review
Case-style questions by body system.
“Build an exam review platform for nursing candidates with case-style questions by body system, timed practice blocks, a study plan that counts down to each student’s test date, and a tutor assistant that explains misses from my notes.”
The machinery underneath
The tutor assistant is grounded in your work. Upload notes and worked solutions, and the assistant retrieves from that corpus. Candidates get your explanation on demand, and every exchange is saved beside the candidate record.
Access follows the subscription. Enrollment opens the bank when payment lands. A pause closes it on the date you set. There is no separate access list to maintain.
You can rehearse before charging real cards. In the Sandbox, you can test enrollment, pausing, resuming, failed cards, and recovery emails before connecting Stripe.
Tests can check the rules. A Scenario can sign in as a paused candidate and prove the bank is closed, using a temporary copy of the database and a written record of what was allowed.
Selling structured teaching can grow into cohorts, drip schedules, and completion. Selling courses on Kliv covers that wider path.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For exam prep, it can build the question bank, study plan, timed mocks, subscription access, and tutor assistant around your materials.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the data structures, practice screens, schedules, payments, and assistant behavior for your exam and method.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can add question types, change scoring, adjust study plans, or revise subscriptions by asking for changes.
Does the assistant hand out official exam answers?
It answers from what you upload, such as your worked solutions and notes. It should decline questions outside that material.
Can candidates pause between exam windows?
Yes. A pause can stop billing, close the bank, and keep attempts, weak-topic history, and mock scores for the next exam.
How real are the mock sittings?
They can use the official time limit, pass mark, topic mix, and scoring rules you set. Each attempt is stored for review.
Do I need Stripe connected to start building?
No. You can rehearse payments, pauses, resumes, and failed cards in the Sandbox before connecting your own Stripe account.
Can I upload my existing question bank?
Yes. You can describe the columns and import questions, syllabus codes, difficulty, and worked solutions.
Can students see each other’s work?
No. Attempts, transcripts, and progress rows can be scoped to each signed-in candidate.
Can the study plan adapt to weak topics?
Yes. Since attempts store topic and outcome, the next drills can reweight toward the topics where the candidate is weakest.
Does Kliv take a cut of subscriptions?
No. Candidate payments can run through your own Stripe account; card processing fees are between you and Stripe.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app source can sync to your own Git repository, and your question bank and candidate records remain yours.
