Build a franchise management app
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your franchise management app — locations, franchisee portals, playbooks, manuals, brand assets, audits, reports, and royalties — and it builds it on your own domain.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a franchise suite built around a fixed chain size — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the data, portals, roles, checklists, invoices, manuals, and reports. What you get is a real web app that’s yours, on your own domain, and you can change it later by asking. It isn’t a generic operations template.
On this page, that app is a franchise management system. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this page focuses on HQ, franchisees, playbooks, manuals, audits, brand assets, reporting, and royalties.
Why build your own franchise system?
A growing franchise needs one system for two sides. HQ manages the manual, brand assets, checklists, reporting, approvals, and royalties. Each franchisee needs its own private workspace for its location, staff, numbers, and tasks.
Kliv builds that two-sided app from the way your brand works, instead of forcing every location into software made for a different chain.
What both sides know
A franchise shares facts while keeping each location separate.
Locations and franchisee organizations
Each franchisee can be an organization with its own users. HQ can see across locations; each franchisee sees its own rows.
Operations manual
Recipes, standards, cleaning schedules, and voice guidelines can live in one versioned manual, with the current version answering questions.
Royalties and ledger
Reported monthly gross can calculate the royalty, create an invoice on your Stripe account, and update the ledger.
Playbooks and audits
Opening checklists and quarterly audits can carry owners, dates, and photo evidence attached to tasks.
Brand library
Logos, menu boards, and campaign kits can live in the file store, so franchisees pull current assets.
An example: Yuki’s bubble-tea franchise
Here’s how one franchisor might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own brand, fees, manuals, reports, and franchisee rules.
A new franchisee gets its workspace
Yuki creates the organization for location fifteen. The owner signs in and sees the 74-task opening checklist with owners and dates.
Build-out progress is visible to HQ
Permits, equipment orders, and inspection photos attach to tasks, so HQ can see progress without another status call.
Staff ask from the current manual
During training week, staff ask the assistant about jasmine steep times. The answer comes from the current operations manual.
Monthly reporting feeds royalties
The franchisee reports gross sales. The royalty calculates from Yuki’s formula and an invoice goes out through her Stripe account.
Brand assets stay current
The location downloads the current logo and menu board from the brand library instead of using an old file.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include franchisee roles, tasks, fee formulas, manuals, files, and reports. Here are three to build on:
Bubble-tea franchise HQ
Playbooks, manual, royalties, and brand kit.
“Build a franchise management app for my bubble-tea brand. Each franchisee should be its own organization with staff users, new locations should get a 74-task opening checklist with owners and due dates, franchisees should report monthly gross sales, royalty invoices should calculate from our agreed percentage through my Stripe account, and the current operations manual should answer staff questions.”
Gym franchise operations
Audits, standards, and equipment.
“Build a gym franchise app where each location runs quarterly brand audits with photo evidence, tracks equipment maintenance standards, reports membership numbers to HQ each month, and sees only its own audit history while HQ sees every location.”
Cleaning franchise portal
Territories, leads, reporting, and training.
“Build a cleaning franchise portal with territory records per franchisee, lead routing by postcode, weekly revenue reporting, a training library gated to active franchisees, and HQ approval for local marketing assets before they publish.”
How it comes together
Local marketing can require approval. Franchisees can submit flyers or posts into a moderation queue. HQ approves or rejects with a note before assets reach the toolkit.
Reports can be scheduled. A weekly job can email each franchisee its own view while HQ gets the full board across locations.
The franchisee wall can be tested. A Scenario can sign in as one location owner and request another location’s sales, then prove the request comes back empty.
A franchise system is an internal tool with outside users. The broader case for building those tools is at internal tools on Kliv.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For franchise management, it can build franchisee portals, roles, manuals, playbooks, audits, invoices, brand libraries, and reports.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Your fee rules, organization walls, manual, checklists, assets, and reports are built around your franchise.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can change fee formulas, add tasks, alter reports, add locations, or change approval rules later.
Can franchisees see each other’s numbers?
Not unless you allow it. Each franchisee organization can read its own rows while HQ roles read across locations.
How does royalty collection work?
A location reports gross sales, the royalty calculates from your formula, and an invoice can go out through your own Stripe account.
Do franchisees need their own Stripe accounts?
No. If HQ invoices royalties, franchisees pay by card or invoice through your Stripe account.
Does Kliv take a cut of royalties?
No. Kliv does not take a payment cut. Card fees are between you and Stripe.
Who controls the operations manual?
HQ does. The manual can be versioned, and answers can come from the current version.
Can the fee structure change later?
Yes. You can describe a marketing fund percentage, flat technology fee, or location tier, and the app can be updated.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The app can run on your own domain.
Do I need a separate CMS?
No. The app is its own admin for manual content, brand files, playbooks, reports, and page text.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
