What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a course plugin or a generic tutoring product — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: cohort records, placement flows, payment gates, progress pages, practice tools, certificates, and admin screens. You own the result, run it on your own domain, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a course template.
On this page, that app is an English learning platform. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why a course plugin can’t hold a language class
A small conversation class only works if the room stays small enough for students to speak. A generic course plugin can sell an extra seat, ignore level placement, and leave between-class writing practice in the teacher’s inbox.
Kliv builds the platform around how the class actually runs. A cohort has a real cap, placement routes students by your rules, and writing practice can be marked from your rubric and sample answers instead of generic advice.
What the school keeps track of
Five records carry the rules that keep the class working.
The cohort
A cohort has a cap, meeting days, and a level. Ten seats means the tenth enrollment is the last; the next student meets a waitlist.
The placement flow
A short assessment routes new students to the right level. The result is stored on the student profile, so nobody lands in B2 on self-rating alone.
The student’s progress
Assignments, corrections, and speaking milestones are visible to that student and the teacher, not to classmates.
The practice agent
The agent is grounded in your rubric, level descriptors, and sample answers. It explains routine writing corrections and flags uncertain cases for the teacher.
The term subscription
A term purchase opens the exact cohort and materials the student paid for. If access lapses, the same record closes it on schedule.
An example: Camila’s English school
Here’s how one teacher might use an English learning platform built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own levels, cohorts, prices, rubric, placement rules, and access rules.
A new student is placed before class
Diego takes the placement flow on Sunday night. His answers route him to the Tuesday–Thursday B1 cohort, and the result lands on his profile before Camila reads an email.
Payment and the seat are one step
He enrolls and pays for the term. The cohort seat and payment are recorded together, so another Sunday-night signup cannot oversell the 10-person room.
Writing practice uses Camila’s rubric
Between classes, Diego submits a paragraph. The practice agent marks routine corrections against Camila’s rubric and explains why. She reviews flagged cases.
A failed card does not become office work
His card expires in month two. The payment retries and sends a reminder with a fix link. He updates it from his phone, and his Thursday class stays open.
The certificate comes from progress records
At term end, Diego’s progress record shows the milestones he cleared, and a completion certificate issues from those rows.

The method, running on rails
The agent teaches your way because it reads your materials. It is not a general English tutor bolted on. It marks from Camila’s rubric, level descriptors, and sample answers. If it cannot answer from those, it can hand the case to her.
The cap is part of the teaching. A conversation class needs a small room, and the cap is enforced where enrollment is written. A €180 term sells exactly the seats that exist.
Students keep their records. Progress, corrections, and certificates are rows Camila owns and a student can export. A language school should not hold a learner’s history hostage.

What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the learning platform you need, it builds the app, and you own the result. For an English school, that means cohorts, placement, payments, progress, practice, and certificates.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the records, placement flow, payment gates, student pages, practice logic, and admin screens for your school.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. Add a level, change a cap, revise the placement scoring, upload a new rubric, or change the certificate requirements by asking in plain words.
Does the agent replace the teacher?
No. It handles repetitive marking from your rubric and flags uncertain cases. Speaking classes and teacher judgment stay human.
How does placement decide a level?
You design the placement flow. It scores a student’s answers, routes them to the matching cohort, and records the result on their profile.
Can a student in one cohort see another’s work?
No. Progress and corrections are scoped to the student and teacher at the row level, so classmates do not see each other’s work.
What keeps a full cohort from overselling?
Enrollment writes a seat against the cohort’s cap. When the tenth seat is gone, the next signup goes to the waitlist.
Can enrollment and payment happen together?
Yes. A term purchase can create the enrollment and open the cohort materials in one step.
Where does the money go?
If you take payments, they run through your own Stripe account. The payment record controls access to the cohort and materials.
Can students export their progress?
Yes. Their progress, corrections, and certificates can be exportable from their own records.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The platform runs on your own domain and can go live as soon as you build it.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
