Build educational games
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the educational games you want — rules, decks, rounds, class rooms, leaderboards, privacy, and licenses — and it builds them as real apps.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a game template site — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the data, rules, screens, rooms, scoring, access rules, dashboards, and payment flow if you sell licenses. You own the result, run it on your own accounts, and keep changing it later by asking for changes. It isn’t a generic classroom game skin.
On this page, that app is an educational game. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one for turning a teaching game into software other teachers can run.
Why build your own educational game?
Some classroom games work because the teacher’s rules are specific. A laminated deck, exception-heavy rules document, and grading scheme in the teacher’s head can be hard to hand to another classroom.
Kliv builds the rules into the app. Decks become data, rounds become server-side logic, class rooms stay separated, scoring becomes consistent, and licenses can be sold if other teachers want to use it.
An ecosystem, ruled and scored
The paper game becomes records and rules the app can enforce.
The species deck
Each card can be a row with trophic level, diet, vulnerability, and points. A balance change edits data instead of reprinting a deck.
The class ecosystem
Each class period can build its own web, with each table’s work kept separate. Period three cannot browse period five’s game state.
Rounds and disturbances
A round can apply drought, invasive species, or frost through server-side functions, so the rule is enforced the same way for everyone.
Leaderboards and badges
Scores can be calculated from round rows, per class and per table. Badges and leaderboards show what happened in play.
Classroom licenses
A teacher can buy a classroom license for $72 a year on your Stripe account. Students join with a class code, and a lapsed license can close new rounds without deleting old grades.
An example: Ilona’s ecology game
Here’s how one business might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own subject, rules, scoring, student privacy, and license terms.
The paper deck becomes data
Ilona’s species cards become rows, and the eleven exceptions in the rules document become server-side functions with one clear outcome.
The pilot class plays with enforced rules
Fourth period plays a drought round on screens. Scoring happens before the bell, and the math is the same for every table.
Another teacher buys a classroom
A biology teacher across town buys a $72 yearly classroom license, gets a class code, and runs the first round without a setup call.
A balance fix updates the next round
Apex predators are too strong in small webs. Ilona changes one card or rule row, and classrooms inherit the fix at the next round.
Participation is recorded by round
The teacher dashboard shows which students contributed and which tables survived each disturbance, with exports for the gradebook.
Describe the educational game you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include the rules, scoring, classes, privacy, teacher controls, and whether you sell licenses.
Food-web game
Species deck, disturbance rounds, and class leaderboards.
“Build an ecology game called Trophic. Classes build food webs from a species deck with trophic level, diet, vulnerability, and points. Disturbance rounds for drought, invasive species, and frost should be scored by server-side rules. Each class has its own rooms and leaderboard, and students join with a class code and first name.”
Times-tables tournament
Weekly brackets and teacher diagnostics.
“Build a multiplication tournament app for a primary school. Run weekly brackets by class, create per-class ladders, show each teacher which students need practice on which tables, and let students join with a class code instead of email.”
Vocabulary quest
Progression based on proven vocabulary.
“Build a language-learning quest game. Students unlock rooms by spending vocabulary they have proven in review sessions, teachers see progress by student and unit, and class data stays separated by teacher.”
What runs between the bells
Student privacy can be part of the schema. Students can join with a class code and first name, without needing email accounts. A student sees their table’s web, a teacher sees her periods, and the creator sees the product.
The game can grow from classroom feedback. If students propose new species, a proposal box can use a moderation queue: submissions wait, the teacher approves or declines with a note, and approved cards enter the deck with student credit.
Licenses can be products too. A license row can open a classroom, renew before September, and let the creator sell the game without a manual setup process.
A game other teachers pay for is close to a course business. Kliv for courses covers enrollment, cohorts, and certificates.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the educational game you need, it builds the app, and you own the result.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the data, rules, scoring, class rooms, teacher dashboards, access rules, and license flow around your game.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can add rules, rebalance cards, change scoring, add teacher reports, or change license terms later.
Does Kliv charge per student?
No. Kliv does not price by your rosters. What you charge teachers per classroom is your pricing, on your own Stripe account.
What do students need to sign up?
They can join with a class code and first name if that is how you build it. The app does not need student emails to run.
Can the game work without any money involved?
Yes. Rules, rounds, and leaderboards can run as a free tool for one school. The store is only needed if you sell licenses.
What happens at the end of the school year?
A season can close, leaderboards can freeze into an archive, rosters can clear, and the next class can start fresh while history stays readable.
Can students propose new content?
Yes. A proposal queue can let students suggest cards or content, with teacher approval before anything enters the live deck.
Do teachers need their own Stripe accounts?
No. If you sell classroom licenses, teachers pay by card and payments run through your Stripe account.
Does Kliv take a cut?
No. Payments run on your own Stripe account. Kliv does not take a percentage of each classroom license.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
