Build a custom luxury & wellness retreat platform
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your dates, seats, rooms, guest forms, practitioner access, kitchen needs, and checkout, and it builds the retreat platform.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t hotel software or a booking template — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the data, the logic, the screens, and the checkout. You own the result, run it on your own domain and accounts, and can change it later by asking. For paid bookings, payments run on your own Stripe account.
On this page, that app is a luxury & wellness retreat platform. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example for dated programs, limited seats, guest files, rooms, schedules, and kitchen sheets.
Why the retreat begins before arrival
A retreat does not just sell nights. It sells fixed dates, limited seats, room assignments, practitioner schedules, pre-arrival forms, dietary needs, and a calm guest experience.
Kliv builds those moving parts as one system: seats, files, rooms, schedules, kitchen sheets, payments, reminders, and returning-guest offers all read from the same records.
The retreat before the retreat
Five records carry the house before guests arrive.
The dates
A program is a dated group with eight seats. When the eighth seat books, the next guest can be offered another date.
The casita
Each room has bed setup, accessibility notes, location, and this week’s guest. Room assignment is a record.
The arrival file
Allergies, injuries, and guest notes live in an arrival file readable only by the people whose job requires it.
The practitioner’s week
Massage and breathwork sessions hang off the group schedule. A practitioner sees their own guests and relevant notes, not the whole business.
The kitchen sheet
Each service can get a sheet computed from guest dietary needs: counts, not names or reasons.
An example: Margit’s high-desert retreat
Here’s how one retreat house might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own dates, rooms, forms, practitioner access, kitchen rules, and cancellation policy.
A guest books one of eight seats
Margit sells a February four-night program for $2,340. The sixth guest pays in full, and the seat count updates at checkout.
The arrival questionnaire routes sensitive notes
Three weeks before arrival, the guest receives the questionnaire. A knee injury note goes to the assigned breathwork practitioner and Margit, not to everyone.
The kitchen sheet updates immediately
A gluten-free answer changes the February kitchen sheet as soon as it is submitted. The cook sees counts, not private medical detail.
Room assignment happens before arrival
A light sleeper is assigned to a casita away from the generator shed. Arrival becomes a name on a list and a key in a door.
A returning-guest code has a window
After departure, the guest receives a September returning-guest code. The discount works only during the month Margit set in the catalog.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include dates, seat counts, prices, forms, access rules, rooms, kitchen sheets, and cancellation terms. Here are three to build on:
Seated retreat programs
Fixed dates and real seat counts.
“Build a retreat booking site for our eight-casita property. Sell dated four-night programs for $2,340 per guest, limit each program to eight seats, collect payment in full at checkout through my Stripe account, and offer the next program when a date sells out.”
Arrival file routing
Pre-arrival forms with scoped access.
“Add a pre-arrival questionnaire that sends three weeks before arrival. Health notes are visible only to the owner and the assigned practitioner, dietary answers feed the kitchen sheet, and guests can update answers until 48 hours before arrival.”
Kitchen and room sheets
Live guest records into house lists.
“Generate a per-service kitchen sheet with dietary counts and a per-program room assignment list. Assign guests to casitas by accessibility needs, bed setup, and quiet preference, and hide medical reasons from the kitchen view.”
Where the calm is enforced
Cancellations can stay controlled. A guest can request a refund, and money moves when Margit approves it. She can also offer credit toward a later program.
Email runs on the retreat clock. The questionnaire can send three weeks before arrival, the packing list one week before, and the returning-guest code after departure.
The site can be found. Public pages can be served whole to search crawlers and AI assistants, so the result points to Margit’s actual program page.
A retreat is a local business that guests travel to. Local businesses built this way share many of the same parts.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the custom booking app you need, it builds it, and you own the result. For retreats, that means programs, seats, rooms, guest files, practitioner access, kitchen sheets, and payments.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the database, booking flow, checkout, access rules, admin screens, and guest pages around your retreat.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can change program dates, prices, room rules, forms, access rules, kitchen sheets, or cancellation policy later.
Can guests choose their casita?
Your choice. You can sell specific rooms as inventory or sell seats and assign rooms later. The system enforces whichever rule you choose.
What happens if a program doesn’t fill?
You decide per program: run with fewer guests or cancel and refund. Refunds can queue for approval so the ledger stays deliberate.
Do practitioners get their own sign-ins?
Yes. A practitioner can see their sessions and relevant notes for assigned guests, without seeing revenue or unrelated files.
Can I price returning guests differently?
Yes. A returning-guest code can live in the catalog with its own active window and expiry date.
Can the kitchen see dietary counts without private notes?
Yes. The kitchen sheet can show counts by service, not names or medical reasons.
Do guests need their own Stripe accounts?
No. Guests pay by card. Payments run through your own Stripe account.
Does Kliv take a cut of retreat bookings?
No. Payments run on your Stripe account. Card processing costs are between you and Stripe.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The retreat site can run on your own domain and go live as soon as you build it.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
