    What is Kliv?

Kliv isn’t a listings portal or a relocation CRM with fixed fields — it’s an AI that builds software for you.

You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the workspaces, database, screens, scheduling flow, files, and access rules. What you get is a real application that’s yours. You can run it on your own domain, keep changing it by asking for changes, and use your own accounts for payments or scheduling where needed. It isn’t a template.

On this page, that app is a home search assistance platform for relocation work. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.

Why build your own home search assistance platform?

Relocation work is not just listings. Each family needs a brief, a shortlist you curated, neighborhood knowledge, a viewing week, paperwork, and updates for the employer paying for certainty. Email threads do not hold that well.

Kliv can build the practice into a platform: one workspace per family, one dashboard for the team, and an assistant that answers from your own dossiers and the family’s file.

    The family file, unpacked

Each family workspace stores the brief, shortlist, schedule, paperwork, and scoped access.

    The family record

Budget, commute limits, school needs, pets, arrival date, and employer context live in one record that later decisions trace back to.

    The shortlist

You enter the homes you chose, with annotations about commute, light, landlord details, and tradeoffs. Families can comment and rank them.

    Neighborhood dossiers

Your city knowledge, such as schools, registration offices, and local risks, is written once, versioned, and reused where it fits.

    The viewing week

Viewing slots book against your calendar, with addresses, notes, and confirmations landing in the family workspace.

    The paperwork trail

Lease drafts, registration forms, employer letters, and other files sit on a checklist so blockers are visible.

    The overnight guide

The assistant answers from your dossiers and the family’s file, such as which shortlisted homes are nearest a school, and stores each exchange on the file.

    An example: Leona’s relocation practice

Here’s how one relocation practice might use a home search platform built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own city, clients, packages, and workflow.

    01

An employer opens the family file

HR starts the assignment with the brief, budget, and arrival date. The family gets a sign-in for their workspace the same afternoon.

    02

    The curated shortlist replaces threads

Six homes with Leona’s annotations appear in the workspace. The family ranks them from Singapore, and Leona wakes up to structured comments instead of forty emails.

    03

    Night questions use the dossiers

The family asks about daycare waitlists, bike storage, and a street that floods in October. The assistant answers from Leona’s guides and stores the transcript.

    04

The viewing week books into one schedule

Five days and nine viewings are booked against Leona’s calendar. Appointment times, addresses, and notes live on one shared page.

    05

    Paperwork becomes the visible blocker

Once the family chooses the row house, the checklist tracks lease review, registration, and utilities, with files attached where they belong.

    06

The closed file becomes a reference

After move-in, the file archives with shortlist, conversations, and paperwork. When the same employer sends another family, the old work is searchable.

Describe what you want to build

Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include client roles, shortlists, scheduling, dossiers, checklists, and billing if you need it. Here are three to build on:

    kliv.dev

    Corporate relocation firm

    Per-family files and employer dashboards.

“Build a relocation platform where each transferring family gets a private workspace with a brief, six-home curated shortlist, neighborhood guides, five-day viewing schedule, paperwork checklist, and a separate employer HR dashboard that shows dates, status, and invoices only.”

    kliv.dev

    Buyer’s-side scout

    Curated searches for busy buyers.

“Build a home search service where clients fill a detailed buying brief with budget, commute, school, and pet needs, receive weekly curated shortlists with my commentary, rank homes, and track viewings and offers in their own workspace.”

    kliv.dev

    University housing desk

    Arriving researchers and students.

“Build a housing assistance platform for our university international office where arriving researchers get vetted listings, area guides, a visa-letter-to-lease checklist, and scoped access for housing staff and each researcher.”

    What holds the walls up

Each family gets a sealed workspace. Workspaces are partitioned in the database. An employer can see progress, dates, and invoices, while the family’s private preferences, notes, and conversations stay separate.

Your calendar can handle scheduling. The viewing week can book through Calendly, connected once, with slots offered, confirmations sent, and appointments written into the workspace.

Packages can be billed cleanly. Relocation packages can be products, such as a $3,900 full-search package or a lighter settling-in service, paid at checkout or invoiced to the employer. Client VAT numbers can appear on invoices, with payment through your own Stripe account.

The dossiers get more useful. Every guide you write becomes reusable city knowledge for the next family, attributed to the city and year. Relocation is one part of property work; the real-estate solutions page covers listings, rentals, and owner portals too.

    Common questions

    What exactly is Kliv?

Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For relocation, it can build family workspaces, shortlists, schedules, dossiers, checklists, scoped access, and payments.

Do I get a real app, or a template?

A real app. Kliv builds the records, views, scheduling flow, files, and permissions around how your practice works.

Can I change it after it’s built?

Yes. Ask for new fields, roles, checklist steps, package types, or city-guide structure, and Kliv updates the app.

Does this pull listings from portals?

No. The source pattern is built around your curated shortlist and annotations, not a firehose of ads.

The employer pays. What do they see?

They can get a scoped role that shows status, dates, and invoices. They do not need to see family preferences, private notes, or conversations.

Can the guide answer questions we haven’t written down?

It answers from your dossiers and the family’s file. If the answer is missing, that tells you what to write next. It should not improvise legal or immigration advice.

What happens to a closed file?

It archives with shortlist, conversations, and paperwork in your database, under your control.

Can families rank homes and leave comments?

Yes. A family workspace can let them comment on and rank each curated home.

Can viewing appointments sync with my calendar?

Yes. The source pattern uses a Calendly connection for available slots, confirmations, and appointments written back to the family workspace.

    Can we invoice employers?

Yes. Packages can be paid at checkout or invoiced, with VAT numbers on invoices when needed.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. The platform can run on your own domain, with your own branding and client access.

Can I move off Kliv later?

Yes. The app source can sync to your own Git repository, and your family files and dossiers remain yours.
