What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a CRM suite you configure around someone else’s fields — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the screens, the workflow rules, the dashboards, and the integrations. What you get is a real app that’s yours, on your own domain, and you can change it later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is a CRM customer relationship management system. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; a CRM is one kind of internal tool.
Why build your own CRM?
Many sales teams do not work in generic leads and opportunities. A small wine importer may care about restaurant accounts, tastings with sommeliers, sample bottles left behind, first orders, and a reorder rhythm that can go quiet.
A CRM built with Kliv starts with the way your team already sells. Accounts, tastings, samples, orders, notes, and pipeline stages are records in your own database, using the words your team already uses.
What the CRM knows
This CRM tracks the work as the team actually does it.
Accounts and people
Each restaurant carries its buyer, sommelier, pour list, and history. If a contact moves, the relationship can follow the person while the account history stays with the restaurant.
Your pipeline stages
Tasting booked, list placement, first order, standing order — the stages match your sales process, and every account sits visibly in one of them.
Tastings and samples
Every tasting is a record, and every sample bottle is logged against the account. You can see whether those bottles became an order.
The reorder rhythm
Order history makes silence visible. A standing account with no order in 60 days can appear on a daily flag list computed from your own rows.
Notes and history
Call notes and visit summaries live on the account and are visible to the team. The customer history does not depend on one person’s phone or memory.
An example: Sofia’s wine distribution business
Here’s how one sales team might use a CRM built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own pipeline, records, reminders, and account rules.
Sofia’s team creates the account at first contact
A new bistro goes in as an account with a note and a next step. It lands in the first stage, and the Tuesday meeting can see it without anyone preparing a report.
The tasting becomes part of the account
The sommelier books through a Calendly link. The booking arrives as a tasting record on the account, and the rep gets a Slack ping with the pour list to bring.
Sample bottles create the follow-up
Three bottles are logged against the account on the walk out. If two weeks pass in silence, the follow-up task surfaces on its own.
The first order updates the pipeline
When the first order lands, the account moves to first order. The stage change is the report, so Sofia does not need end-of-quarter archaeology to reconstruct what happened.
A quiet account gets flagged before it is lost
After 60 days with no reorder, the bistro appears on the morning flag list. A visit can be booked while the relationship is still warm.
The standing order becomes the new rhythm
Six cases monthly are recorded on the account with their cadence. From there, the CRM watches the rhythm while the team looks for the next bistro.
Describe your sales process
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include your account types, stages, reminders, dashboards, and integrations. Here are three to build on:
Wholesale sales CRM
Accounts, tastings, samples, and reorder flags.
“Build a CRM for our wine import business. Track restaurant accounts, buyers, sommeliers, tastings, sample bottles, stages from tasting booked to standing order, and a daily flag for standing accounts with no order in 60 days.”
Field-visit pipeline
Territories, visit notes, and next actions.
“Build a CRM for our packaging sales team. Organize accounts by territory, log site visits with notes and photos, track next-action dates, show stalled accounts by rep, and send a weekly Slack summary of accounts going quiet.”
Referral-driven practice
Sources, introductions, and conversion tracking.
“Build a CRM for our consulting practice. Track who referred each client, introductions we owe, pipeline stages from intro to signed work, notes from each call, and which referral sources turn into paid projects.”
How it comes together
An agent can read account history. Ask what you poured for a bistro last spring and what they ordered afterward, and the agent can answer from tasting and order records. It reads signed-in user data through the same row rules as the rest of the app.
Integrations bring updates to the team. Stage changes can post to Slack, and tastings booked in Calendly can become records on the right account. Credentials are held in a vault.
Analytics use your terms. Define “tasting that became a first order within 90 days” as an event, and the dashboard can report conversion by rep, region, or season — no tag manager and no export needed.
The schema can change with the business. If you start tracking by-the-glass placement separately from bottle-list placement, ask for the field and Kliv updates the database and screens.
A CRM is often the first internal tool a company outgrows off the shelf. The rest of that story — operations dashboards, approval flows, the tools only your company needs — continues on the internal-tools solutions page.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the CRM you need, and it builds the records, screens, workflow rules, dashboards, and integrations around your sales process.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Accounts, contacts, stages, notes, reminders, permissions, and reports are built for your team’s process, not filled into a generic CRM layout.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can ask for changes like adding fields, renaming stages, changing reminder rules, or adding an integration. Kliv updates the app.
Do we pay per seat as the team grows?
No. Kliv does not price by your app’s users. Additional reps, managers, and back-office users can sign in without changing the app into a seat-license problem.
Can reps see each other’s accounts?
Your choice. Access can be shared, split by territory, or private per rep with managers seeing everything. The rule is enforced at the row.
Can it remind us instead of us checking it?
Yes. Scheduled jobs can run the quiet-account list each morning, send a Monday digest of stalled deals to Slack, or surface follow-ups on their due date.
Can we integrate with Slack or Calendly?
Yes. The source includes Slack posts for stage changes and Calendly bookings that become tasting records. Kliv can build those integrations with credentials stored securely.
Can an agent help with account history?
Yes. An agent can answer from the account, tasting, order, and note rows the signed-in user is allowed to read, and can act through capabilities you grant.
What happens to our data if we leave?
Accounts, tastings, orders, and notes are rows you can export, and the code syncs to your own Git repository.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The CRM can run on your own domain, with access limited to the people you allow.
Can different roles see different views?
Yes. Roles and row rules can control which accounts, reports, and actions each user can see.
