You describe the library you need in your own words, and Kliv builds the real app: the database, the file store, the search, the agent, the screens, and the access rules. You own it, run it on your own accounts, and change it later by asking. It is not a template.
On this page, that app is an insight library for consulting engagements, decks, benchmarks, post-mortems, clearances, and internal questions. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one.
Why build an insight library?
Elias manages a fourteen-person operations consultancy with about four hundred past engagements. The firm’s best answers sit in old decks, spreadsheets, and post-mortems, often organized by year and by whoever created the folder. When a cold-chain logistics proposal is due Thursday, “have we done this before?” should not depend on who remembers 2019.
Kliv builds the library as a system: engagements as records, artifacts attached to them, clearance rules for NDA work, benchmarks as data, and an agent that answers from the part of the archive each person may read.
What the library stores
These records turn a folder tree into reusable firm memory.
Engagements
Each engagement records client, sector, year, team, scope, and outcome. Every artifact attaches to an engagement so context stays with the file.
Artifacts
Final decks, spreadsheets, interview guides, and site reports live in the library’s file store and inherit the engagement clearance.
Clearances
Most work can be firm-wide; NDA-heavy work can be partner-only. Search results obey the same clearance rules.
Benchmarks

The agent answers from the archive and only from the slice the asker is allowed to read.

How the archive earns its keep
Access follows role. Consultants sign in through the firm’s identity. Every read is scoped by role at the row, so removing a departing consultant closes search, files, and agent access at once.
The archive can support paid products later. Sanitized sector benchmarks can be packaged as a quarterly reader for clients at $290 a quarter, sold through checkout on the firm’s own Stripe account, with access following the subscription.
The library is firm property. Records and files sit in a database the partnership controls, and the source code syncs to a Git remote the firm owns.

Do I get a real app, or a template?

Can I change it after it’s built?

Can the agent leak partner-only work to an associate?
No. The agent reads with the asker’s clearance. Partner-only engagements are outside an associate’s searchable world.
How does fifteen years of PowerPoint get in?
In bulk, as files. Decks, PDFs, spreadsheets, and notes upload into the library and attach to engagement records as you go.
What happens when a consultant leaves?
Remove the user and access closes across search, files, and the agent. The system stops serving records to that account.
Is this worth it for a fourteen-person firm?
