Build an agency asset library
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the agency asset library you need — client shelves, brand files, licenses, search, approvals, and Slack updates — and it builds it.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a shared drive or digital asset product you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the data, the logic, the screens, and the workflow. What you get is a real working app that’s yours. You own it, run it on your own domain or accounts, and keep changing it later by asking. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a custom brand asset library for your agency. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why the wrong logo keeps shipping
Files alone do not tell people which asset is current, who owns it, whether it is approved, or what the license allows. That is how a vendor finds an old logo in an inbox and uses it.
Kliv builds an asset library where those facts are data. Every asset carries client, approval state, usage rights, and access rules. Each client signs in to its own brand shelf and sees only the files meant for them.
Inside one client’s library
A brand shelf is useful when the file and its facts stay together.
The asset record
A file stores campaign, format, approval state, usage rights, and other fields you choose. Search and rules use those fields.
Licenses and usage rights
A web-only stock photo or five-seat typeface license carries its terms and expiry date. The download rule can close when terms expire.
Approval state
Draft, in review, approved, and retired states decide who can see or download a file.
The client wall
A brewery’s team signs in to the brewery’s files. Another client’s photography is not merely filtered out; it is not available to that account.
The Slack thread
New work can post to the client’s own Slack channel, and an approval in the thread can update the asset state in the library.
An example: Maya’s agency asset library
Here’s how one agency might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own clients, files, licenses, approvals, and sharing rules.
A rebrand arrives with facts attached
Maya’s studio uploads 214 files for a regional brewery. Each asset gets campaign, format, approval state, and rights instead of waiting in a “sort later” folder.
The client approves in Slack
Five hero shots post to the brewery’s Slack channel. The CMO approves three, and the library marks those assets approved.
A vendor gets one scoped share
The trailer-wrap printer receives access to one dieline. The share is an access rule on that item, not a copied folder.
Plain search finds the right asset
A new brewery hire searches for “the harbor shot from the rebrand” and gets approved artwork with the license attached.
Another client sees none of it
The marina, another client of the same studio, cannot see brewery files. Its account reads a different set of rows.
An expiring license closes downloads
Two weeks before a web-only stock license expires, a scheduled job flags it. After expiry, download stays closed until the license is renewed.
Describe the asset library you need
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include clients, asset types, fields, license terms, approvals, and sharing. Here are three to build on:
Brand studio library
Eleven client shelves with Slack approvals.
“Build a brand asset library for my agency’s eleven retainer clients. Each client signs in to see only its own logos, guidelines, templates, and approved photography. Assets need approval state, campaign, format, license terms, expiry date, plain-language search, and approvals that post to the client’s Slack channel.”
Photo agency archive
Licensed images with terms and expiry dates.
“Build an image archive for my photo agency. Every shot should store photographer, client, campaign, usage terms, territory, expiry date, and approved status. Clients search in plain language, and expired licenses close download until renewed.”
Franchise brand hub
Current files for many locations.
“Build a brand hub for a franchise with 200 locations. Locations download only current logos, menus, signage templates, and social posts. Retired versions stay traceable for head office, and local artwork requires head-office approval before download.”
The mechanics behind the shelves
Clients are organizations. Each client has its own users and roles. The database scopes every read to the organization that owns the row.
The shelf can answer questions. Upload brand guidelines beside the artwork, and a staff or client agent can answer from that client’s own guidelines, citing the page it used.
The walls can be tested. A Scenario can sign in as one client and try to find another client’s assets. The refusal is filed in the test record.
An asset library is often the first agency tool built on Kliv. The agencies page covers retainers, client portals, approvals, and invoices.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe your agency asset library, and Kliv builds the real app with files, records, search, roles, approvals, and sharing rules.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Your clients, asset fields, license rules, approval states, and Slack workflow shape the library.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can add asset fields, change approval states, add a client role, or update license rules later.
Can approvals happen in Slack?
Yes. New work can post to the client’s channel, and an approval there can update the asset’s state in the library.
What stops the wrong person seeing a client folder?
Access is scoped by item and client organization. A share outside the client is deliberate, limited, and recorded.
What happens when a stock license runs out?
The expiry date lives on the asset. A scheduled job can warn ahead of time, and the download rule can close when the date passes.
Can clients search in plain language?
Yes. Assets and guidelines can be indexed so clients search for descriptions like “harbor shot from the rebrand” instead of filenames.
Can the library answer questions from brand guidelines?
Yes. If you upload guidelines, an agent can answer from those documents and cite the page it used.
Can clients see each other’s assets?
No. Each client’s files and records belong to that client organization, and access is enforced in the database.
Can we take the archive with us if we leave?
Yes. Your files, records, and app source are yours, and the code syncs to your own Git repository.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The library can run under your agency’s own domain.
