Visitor Management & Access Control
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe who may enter your site, under which rules, and what the gate needs to know, and it builds the visitor record system.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a visitor-management product you sign up for and configure. It’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the logic, the screens, and the workflows. What you get is a real, working application that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking for changes, and run it on your own domain. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a visitor management system for your site or plant. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one of them, and that’s what the rest of this page covers.
The front gate has to handle more than names in a logbook. Contractors have inductions and insurance certificates. Drivers need the dock and nothing else. Auditors may ask for history. Some areas require NDAs, PPE briefings, or escort rules.
Kliv builds the record side of access control: who may come, who invited them, what rules apply, what they signed, and who is inside right now. Your locks and badges can stay separate.
Five records run the entrance and keep the rules attached to each visit.
Every visit has a host and purpose before the visitor arrives. The invite creates the record.
A contractor safety induction can be valid for 12 months. If it expired, check-in can require a short refresher instead of turning the crew away.
The prototype corridor can require an NDA. The press hall can require safety glasses and a briefing. The rules attach to the areas on the visit.
Site services can see who is on site, who hosts them, and which areas they are visiting. Sign-out closes the loop.
Delivery drivers can use a shorter flow: name, carrier, dock number, yard rules, and sign-out.
Here’s how one plant might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own gate, roles, induction rules, areas, and retention policy.
Minna’s plant schedules a Tuesday maintenance visit. The system checks the firm’s insurance certificate and each technician’s induction date: two are current and one has expired.
The technicians arrive with QR codes from the invite email. Check-in already knows their names, host, and allowed areas.
The expired technician watches a seven-minute safety video at the desk, answers questions on a tablet, and receives a new induction date.
All three names appear on the inside-right-now board with host and area details. The host gets the arrival notice.
They sign out at 15:40. Months later, an insurance question can be answered from the visit record: who came, when, who hosted them, and what induction date applied.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include visit types, hosts, induction expiry, area rules, signatures, and live lists. Here are three to build on:
Contractors, drivers, auditors, NDAs, and PPE.
“Build a visitor management system for our manufacturing plant. Hosts invite visitors, contractor inductions expire after 12 months, prototype-area visits require an NDA, press-hall visits require PPE briefing, and site services sees a live list of who is on site.”
Daily sign-ins, inductions, and certification expiry.
“Build a site access app for a construction project. Every worker and visitor signs in daily, inductions and certifications carry expiry dates, and the site manager can see who is on site from a phone.”
Invite links, NDAs, and host clearance.
“Build a lab visitor system where guests pre-register from an invite link, sign the NDA before arriving, and reception sees expected visitors with host, arrival time, and clearance status.”
A host sees their own visitors. Site services sees the site. Legal can see the signed NDA where you allow it. Those are rules on rows and files, not separate spreadsheets.
Invite emails can include the QR code, directions, and the rules the visitor must follow. Scheduled jobs can flag unsigned-out visits at 18:00 and list contractor inductions expiring this quarter.
Visit records can also expire on your retention schedule. The app can erase records older than your policy requires. Most internal tools run inside the walls; this one runs the place where the company meets everyone outside it. Kliv builds for the edges too.
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. You tell it what you need, it builds the app, and you own the result. For this page, that means a visitor management system with host invites, induction expiry, area rules, live site lists, signatures, and retention.
A real app. Kliv builds the database, the logic, and the screens for your specific case. It is not a pre-made theme you fill in.
Yes. You ask for changes in plain words and Kliv updates the app, without starting over.
Yes. The app can run on your own domain and go live as soon as you build it.
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
No. Kliv builds the record system for who may be inside and under which rules. Your locks and badge readers keep their own electronics.
Yes. Invite links can collect details, signatures, and required documents before check-in.
Not unless you want that. You can give drivers a shorter lane with carrier, dock, yard rules, and sign-out.
Yes. Each induction can have an expiry date, and check-in can require renewal when the date has passed.
You define the roles. Hosts can see their own visits, site services can see the site, and exports can answer customer audits.
Yes. Rules can attach to areas, and check-in can require the right signature or briefing for that visit.
Yes. Retention rules can erase visit records after the window you choose.
