Build a custom live webinar platform
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your workshop price, seat cap, reminder schedule, live room, and replay rules, and it builds the webinar platform.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a webinar tool with a fixed funnel — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the data, the logic, the screens, and the checkout. You own the result, run it on your own domain and accounts, and can change it later by asking. For paid webinars, payments run on your own Stripe account.
On this page, that app is a live webinar platform. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example for paid workshops, live rooms, reminders, and replays.
Why webinar tools fight paid workshops
Many webinar tools are built for free marketing funnels. A paid workshop is different: the seat is the product. The instructor needs a clear price, a hard cap, reminders, gated materials, and replay rules.
Kliv builds the workshop’s own system: registration as a real purchase, a cap the database enforces, reminders on your templates, and a replay shelf that can keep selling after the live session.
What the platform knows
A workshop business runs on these records and rules.
Sessions and the calendar
Each workshop is a session with date, price, and cap. Future sessions are rows in the database.
Registrations and the cap
A registration is a paid seat. When 40 are sold, the next buyer meets the waitlist or next date.
The reminder ladder
Seven days, one day, and one hour before the session, scheduled emails send on your templates with the join link and pre-work.
The live room
The live room embeds your stream or meeting and opens only for registrants of that session.
The replay shelf
A recording can be included for registrants and sold for $49 to people who missed the live session.
Workbooks and files
Exercise files sit behind the same gate as the seat, available before the session and as reference material afterward.
An example: Mina’s financial modeling workshops
Here’s how one instructor might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own sessions, prices, caps, reminders, and replay rules.
A paid session opens with a hard cap
Mina opens the March workshop at $180 per seat with a cap of 40. Early pricing can close on the schedule she sets.
Checkout handles the seat and files
Each purchase creates the registration, sends the receipt, adds a calendar file, and opens workbook access without Mina updating a roster.
The waitlist catches extra demand
When the 41st buyer arrives, the platform offers the waitlist or the next date instead of overselling the room.
Reminder emails follow the session clock
The seven-day, one-day, and one-hour reminders send with the join link and pre-work. If the session moves, the ladder moves with it.
The live room checks registration
Registrants can open the room. Everyone else sees the sales page for the next session, not a leaked meeting link.
The replay keeps selling
After the workshop, the recording opens for registrants and sells for $49 to non-attendees. Mina can compare seat revenue, replay revenue, and waitlist depth by topic.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include prices, caps, reminders, file access, refund rules, and replay access. Here are three to build on:
Paid workshop series
Seat caps, reminders, replay sales.
“Build a webinar platform for my financial modeling workshops. Charge $180 per live seat, cap each session at 40 paid registrants, send reminders at seven days, one day, and one hour, include workbook downloads, and sell the replay for $49 to non-attendees.”
Free funnel webinar
Free seats leading to a paid course.
“Build a webinar site for my product strategy masterclass. Registration is free but capped at 500. Send reminders at three days, one day, and one hour. Gate the live page to registrants, track who attended, and send a follow-up email offering my $399 paid course to attendees and no-shows with different wording.”
Members-only sessions
A membership that includes every session.
“Build a webinar platform where a $29/month membership includes every live session and the full replay archive. Non-members can buy a single live seat for $45, members get automatic access, and failed membership payments close replay access after the grace period.”
How it comes together
A seat is an entitlement. The purchase opens the live room, workbook, and replay. Refund it, and those doors can close cleanly.
The reminder ladder is scheduled. Reminder emails are jobs pinned to the session clock and rendered on your templates. Reschedule the session and the ladder moves.
Refunds wait for you. A cancellation request can queue for approval. You can grant a refund, reopen the seat, or offer credit toward the next date.
Test the cap before the cohort is real. A Scenario can register the 41st buyer against a throwaway copy of the database and show the receipt: seat declined, waitlist row created, no real email delivered.
When workshops grow into a full curriculum, the course-platform story is the next step.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the custom web app you need, it builds it, and you own the result. For webinars, that means registration, payment, caps, reminders, live-room access, files, and replays.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the database, checkout, pages, and rules for your workshop business.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can change prices, caps, reminder timing, refund rules, replay access, or add memberships later.
Does Kliv provide the live video itself?
You can run the session on the streaming or meeting tool you already use. Kliv owns registration, payment, the gated room where it embeds, reminders, and replays.
What happens if I need to raise the cap?
The cap is a field on the session. Raise it and the waitlist can promote in order with confirmation emails.
Can attendees from one session see another replay?
Only if you price it that way. Replay access follows the registration, bundle, or membership rules you define.
Do replays need a separate video host?
No. Recordings can upload to the app’s file store with access rules per session.
Do attendees need their own Stripe accounts?
No. Attendees pay by card. Payments run through your own Stripe account.
Does Kliv take a cut of webinar sales?
No. Payments run on your Stripe account. Card processing costs are between you and Stripe.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The webinar platform can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
