Build a custom furniture and home decor store
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your furniture and home decor store — slabs, commission slots, decor batches, build pages, and checkout — and it builds it on your own Stripe account.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a standard cart theme you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe what you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the logic, the screens, and the rules. What you get is a real, working app that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking for changes, and run it on your own domain and your own Stripe account. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a furniture and home decor store built around your real products and capacity. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example, and that’s what the rest of this page covers.
Why a workshop needs a different store
Many store platforms assume identical items on a shelf. A furniture workshop may sell different things: a live-edge slab that exists once, a commission slot that takes eight weeks, and a decor batch with twelve pieces. Those are different kinds of scarcity.
Kliv builds the store around the rows you describe: slabs, slots, batches, build records, checkout, and buyer access. The storefront reads the same records that take the payment, so it can only sell what the shop can actually make.
Slabs, slots, batches: what the store sells
Each product type has its own rule for scarcity and access.
The slab library
Every board is its own listing with species, dimensions, photos, and price. When payment clears, that slab’s page closes.
The commission queue
The shop can sell a fixed number of slots per period, such as six per quarter. When the slots are gone, the next buyer sees the next available run before paying.
The build record
Each commission keeps drawings, finish choices, and bench photos. The buyer sees their own build page, while the workshop sees the whole floor.
The decor batches
A run of twelve lamps is counted by the checkout. The thirteenth lamp is never offered if only twelve exist.
The care shelf
Finishing guides, wax schedules, and repair notes can open to buyers of the pieces they cover, based on the order record.
An example: Freja’s furniture workshop
Here’s how one workshop might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own products, batch sizes, queue capacity, delivery rules, and buyer pages.
A buyer claims a real commission slot
Freja sells one of six June commission slots at checkout on her own Stripe account. The slot is committed by the same write that takes the payment.
One slab sells exactly once
The buyer chooses board 47 from the slab library for the tabletop. Its listing closes immediately and the board attaches to that build.
The build page reduces status emails
Friday bench photos land on the order page: mortises cut, first coat of oil, finish choices confirmed. The buyer checks the page instead of emailing for an update.
Delivery details travel with the order
Freight is booked, tracking joins the order, and the delivery-window email sends in the workshop’s own voice.
Care information opens after delivery
When the order is delivered, the finishing guide opens for that buyer. A year later, the repair note is still there.
Describe the store you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include product types, stock rules, queue capacity, payments, delivery, and buyer access. Here are three to build on:
Commission queue
Paid slots against real bench capacity.
“Build a commission store for my furniture workshop. Sell six paid slots per quarter, collect dimensions and wood choice at checkout, take full payment on my Stripe account, show the next available run when a quarter is full, and give every buyer a private build page where I post drawings, finish choices, bench photos, and delivery tracking.”
One-of-a-kind slabs
Each board has its own listing.
“Build a live-edge slab store where every board is its own listing with species, dimensions, moisture notes, photos, and price. Close the listing the moment payment clears, attach the slab to the buyer’s order, and never allow two buyers to buy the same board.”
Small-batch decor
Counted runs and next-run lists.
“Build a shop for small-batch home decor with lamp runs of 12, an honest remaining count on every listing, a $155 white-glove delivery upgrade where available, and an email list that hears about the next run before it goes public.”
Test the store before real orders
Try a full quarter first. In the Sandbox, you can run six commissions, one failed card, and one refund approval before connecting Stripe or owing anything.
Refunds stay a human decision. If a leg cracks in transit, the refund waits for Freja’s approval and records her reason. The store does not send money back on its own.
Slab pages can be found. Each board listing is served readable to search crawlers and AI assistants, so someone searching for a ten-foot walnut top can find your listing directly.
A workshop selling its own work is a direct-to-consumer business. The parts not covered here, from drop announcements to tax reports, are mapped at the direct-to-consumer solutions page.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the software you need, it builds the working website, and you own the result. For this page, that means a store with one-of-a-kind listings, commission slots, batch inventory, buyer build pages, checkout, and care guides. Checkout runs on your own Stripe account.
Do I get a real website, or a template?
A real website. Kliv builds the data, rules, and screens for your specific case, not a pre-made theme you fill in. You keep changing it by describing what you want different.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. Ask for changes in plain words and Kliv updates the app. You can adjust fields, workflows, pages, emails, access rules, and reports without starting over.
Can a one-of-a-kind slab oversell?
No. The listing and payment write to the same database. When payment clears, the page closes and a second buyer cannot buy the same slab.
How do buyers pay for a commission?
They can pay in full at checkout through your own Stripe account. The queue slot is committed by the payment itself.
Do customers need their own Stripe accounts?
No. Customers pay by card. Stripe is connected to your account behind the checkout.
What does a buyer see while the table is being built?
Their private order page can show drawings, finish choices, bench photos, freight tracking, and notes. They cannot see another buyer’s build.
Can commissions and decor share one store?
Yes. One catalog can carry counted batch listings, paid queue slots, one-of-a-kind slabs, and add-ons such as a $155 delivery upgrade.
Can I test checkout before taking real money?
Yes. You can rehearse orders, failed cards, refunds, and a full commission cycle in the Sandbox before connecting your Stripe account.
Will product pages show up in search?
Yes. Listings are prerendered as readable pages so search engines and AI assistants can read them.
Can I run limited batches?
Yes. A batch count can be the number checkout reads, so the store stops selling when the run is gone.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The store runs on your own domain.
Do I need a separate CMS?
No. The store is its own admin: edit listings, update build pages, add guides, and publish page changes from the app.
