Build your own event booking and ticketing
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your room, ticket tiers, presales, capacity, refunds, and door list, and Kliv builds a ticketing system on your own Stripe account.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a ticketing marketplace you configure — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the logic, the screens, and the workflows. You own the result, run it on your own domain and use your own Stripe account, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is event booking and ticketing software. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build your own box office?
A venue knows its real capacity, ticket tiers, door process, and audience. Large ticketing platforms can put fees and buyer relationships between you and your crowd.
Kliv builds your own box office. Buyers check out through your Stripe account, and every buyer is a record in your database.
What Kliv handles for you
A box office works when capacity, buyers, and the door list read the same records.
Shows and room capacity
Each show stores date, doors time, support act, and true capacity.
GA and balcony tiers
Floor and balcony can have separate allocations and prices.
Presale windows
Codes can open early and close on schedule.
Door list
Door staff check in buyers from a phone-friendly live list.
Refunds and cancellations
Refund requests and canceled shows can move into approval queues.
Regular buyers
Every buyer has a record and purchase history that belongs to you.
An example: Theo’s 220-capacity venue
Here’s how one business might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own setup, rules, and content.
The show page goes live
Theo lists the date, doors time, support act, and ticket tiers on a prerendered page.
The presale uses the same capacity
Mailing-list buyers enter 48 hours early and count against the same 220 tickets.
Public on-sale cannot oversell
Two buyers racing for the last ticket resolve in the database.
Balcony sells out separately
The 40 balcony tickets sell out while floor tickets remain available.
The door list updates live
Walk-ups buy from a poster QR and appear before they reach the front.
Refunds stay approved
A buyer requests a refund, Theo approves it, and the record keeps the decision.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include concrete prices, dates, roles, limits, and edge cases.
Music venue
GA floor, balcony, presale.
“Build a ticketing site for our 220-capacity music venue with 180 GA floor tickets at $24, 40 balcony tickets at $38, a mailing-list presale 48 hours early, per-show capacity enforcement, phone door check-in, and refund approval.”
Small theater
Dated performances and comps.
“Build ticketing for our 90-seat theater running one play across 12 dated performances, with adult tickets at $32, student tickets at $18, press comp codes, and per-night check-in.”
Comedy basement
Two shows and waitlists.
“Build ticketing for a Friday comedy showcase with 80 seats for a 7:30 show and 80 for a 9:45 show, $20 tickets, waitlists, and manual refund approval.”
How it comes together
Capacity is checked where tickets are sold. Ticket 221 for a 220-capacity room cannot be created.
Cancellations create refund work. A canceled show can become a refund batch that waits for approval.
You can rehearse first. The Sandbox can sell out, cancel, refund, and test failed cards before Stripe is connected.
For larger event programs, start from what Kliv builds for events.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For event booking and ticketing, it builds the records, screens, rules, and workflows around your case.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the database, logic, and screens for your specific case, not a theme you fill in.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. Ask for changes in plain words, and Kliv updates the app without starting over.
Can it oversell?
No. Capacity is checked at purchase, and simultaneous buyers for the last ticket are serialized.
What happens when a show cancels?
Orders can become a refund batch, and your approval moves the money.
Can I set up before Stripe is connected?
Yes. You can rehearse with test payments in the Sandbox.
Who owns the buyer list?
You do. Buyers are rows in your database, and payments run through your Stripe account.
Can I run presales?
Yes. Codes and windows open and close on the schedule you set.
Can door staff use phones?
Yes. The check-in list runs in a phone browser.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The ticketing site can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository.
