Agritech & Farm Management
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your seed production process — varieties, fields, inspections, lot tests, grower contracts, and certification tags — and it builds the system around it.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a fixed farm-management product — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the rules, the screens, the reports, and the access controls. What you get is a real application for your operation. You can use it, change it later by asking, and keep the records in your own system. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is a crop and seed production management system. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Most farm software is built for agronomy: inputs, yields, and margins. Seed production has another job. A certified lot has to trace back through variety, generation, field, inspection, test result, and tag.
Kliv builds the record around that chain. You describe your varieties, your fields, your certifier’s thresholds, and your grower contracts. The system keeps the season’s records in the same place the certification tag will need them.
Five records hold the line from parent seed to the bag on the truck.
Name, owner, generation limits, and descriptors. Every planting and lot points back to the variety it came from.
The season’s planting: variety, generation, previous crop, and distance to nearby crops. An isolation distance below the certifier’s minimum flags before the field is planted.
Acres, generation to be produced, delivery window, and premium terms. Each contract grower’s obligations and payments are tracked by season.
Harvest weight, cleaning loss, final bagged weight, germination result, purity result, and state: awaiting test, certified, or rejected.
Certification tags print from the lot record and reconcile against bag count. If the lot has not passed, tags do not print.
Here’s how one seed farm might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own varieties, fields, growers, tests, and certification rules.
Clement assigns 50 kilos of foundation seed to the cleanest field on the home farm. The system checks previous crop and isolation distance before the plan is saved.
The certification inspector walks the field in July. The visit, findings, and two roguing passes are filed on the planting before the lot exists.
Numbered bins come in from the combine, weights are logged at the dryer, and the lot number is created with its field, generation, and season already attached.
Samples go to the lab. Germination returns at 94 percent and attaches to the lot. A result under the threshold would mark the lot rejected and stop tag printing.
Certified tags print against the lot, with tag numbers counted and reconciled against bags. A mismatch is caught before an audit.
In spring, unsold bags face the calendar. Germination claims age out, and the system schedules the retest before the claim expires.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include varieties, field rules, inspections, tests, growers, and reports. Here are three to build on:
Varieties, field checks, inspections, tests, and lot states.
“Build a seed production tracker for our certified wheat and barley farm. Track varieties, breeder and foundation generations, field plantings checked against 200-meter isolation distances, inspection and roguing logs, lab germination and purity results, and seed lots that can be certified or rejected.”
Grower field logs, delivery windows, statements, and photos.
“Build a grower portal for our 12 contract growers. Each grower should log field operations from a phone, see only their own fields, delivery windows, and premium statements, and upload field photos that attach to the right planting record.”
Plot maps, scoring records, and season reports.
“Build a trial plot manager for our variety strips across four locations. Include plot maps, planting dates, scoring records per entry, harvest notes, and a season report that compares entries across locations.”
Each grower sees only their own farm. Contract growers sign in to their fields, delivery windows, and premium statements. They do not see a neighbor’s contract or pricing, because access is a database rule.
Annual paperwork comes from existing records. The certification agency still inspects and certifies. Your side of the process is ready because plantings, parent lots, inspections, and test results already exist as rows.
The season runs on reminders. Delivery windows, retest deadlines, and unscheduled inspections can trigger messages to the right people from scheduled jobs, using the farm’s own wording.
Seed records need to outlast the season. Tools with the same horizon as the farm explain the broader case for building your own.
Kliv is an AI app builder for custom web apps. You describe the seed production system you need, it builds the app, and you own the result.
A real app. Kliv builds your database, workflows, screens, reports, and access rules around your operation.
Yes. You can ask for changes later: new varieties, new inspection fields, new tag rules, new grower views, or new reports.
No. The agency still inspects and issues certification. The app keeps your side ready: plantings, inspections, tests, and lot records that forms can draw from.
They can use a small phone view for their own work: field logs, delivery windows, statements, and photos. Their login reaches their fields and nobody else’s.
The lot changes to rejected, tags stop printing, and any downgrade or disposal is recorded on the same lot with its history intact.
As far as your records go. Each certified lot points to its parent records, fields, inspections, and tests, so a buyer question two years later can be answered from the system.
Yes. You describe the certifier’s distance rules, and the planting form can flag fields that do not meet them before the plan is saved.
Yes. Lots can carry test dates and claim expiry dates, and scheduled reminders can surface retests before a claim expires.
Yes. The app can run on your own domain for staff and growers.
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
