Build a cleaning and home services platform
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the cleaning and home services platform you need — homes, visits, routes, checklists, photos, client pages, and billing — and Kliv builds it.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a generic field-service product — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds the database, scheduling rules, crew screens, client portal, checkout, and billing. You own the result, run it on your own domain and accounts, and keep changing it by asking for changes. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is a cleaning and home services platform. Kliv builds many kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build your own cleaning and home services app?
A cleaning company depends on details a generic job app may not hold well: gate codes, alarm quirks, pets, room preferences, recurring schedules, client-specific checklists, photos, and billing rules.
Kliv builds the system around those records. The home, visit, checklist, route, photo, plan, invoice, and client page can all read from the same database.
When the way you run changes, you describe the change and the app changes with it.
What the office finally remembers
A cleaning company runs on details. Here is where they live.
Homes and access notes
Each home can hold address, gate code, alarm quirks, pet warnings, and standing instructions, visible only to assigned crew and office staff.
Visits and routes
A visit belongs to a home, crew, and date. Tuesday’s route is a list from the database, and a reschedule updates the crew’s day.
Per-house checklists
Each house can have its own checklist, checked off on a phone, with notes that carry forward to the next visit.
Plans and one-offs
A biweekly plan at $160 per visit and a $450 move-out deep clean can live in the same catalog, with subscriptions for recurring homes and one-time purchases for deep cleans.
Completion photos
Crews can photograph finished rooms. Photos land in the file store, private to that client and linked to that visit.
Client page
Clients can reschedule, skip a visit, update a card, and read invoices from their own page, seeing only their own records.
An example: Elena’s Tacoma cleaning company
Here’s how one cleaning business might use a home services platform built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own services, routes, checklists, billing, and client rules.
Crew routes are ready in the morning
Elena’s two crews open their phones and see the day’s homes in driving order, with each checklist, gate code, alarm note, and pet warning.
A house note carries forward
At the Hendersons’ home, crew one notes that the new couch scratches easily and needs the upholstery attachment only. The note appears next visit.
Photos reach the client before lunch
Finished-room photos upload to the file store, and the client gets an email with a link to her private gallery.
A reschedule updates the route
A client moves Thursday’s visit to Friday from her own page. The route updates, the crew sees the change, and the office avoids phone tag.
Billing happens after completion
When the last visit is marked complete, the card on file is charged, the receipt goes out, and the ledger updates.
The owner gets the day’s digest
A scheduled digest shows visits completed, notes added, photos uploaded, and one failed card already being retried.
Describe the service business you run
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include plans, prices, routes, checklists, client permissions, photos, and billing. Here are three examples to build on:
Recurring home cleaning
Biweekly plans, routes, checklists, client rescheduling, and billing.
“Build a cleaning company app with biweekly plans at $160 per visit and monthly plans at $210 per visit, two crew routes per day, per-house checklists, gate codes and pet notes visible only to assigned crews, completion photos, and a client page for rescheduling and billing.”
Move-out deep cleans
Quotes, room documentation, and payment on completion.
“Build a booking site for move-out deep cleans with quotes based on square footage and number of rooms, a $450 minimum, room-by-room photo documentation, office approval before discounts, and payment collected when the clean is marked complete.”
Home services crew hub
Multiple services, daily routes, photos, and invoices.
“Build a home services app where clients book window washing, gutter cleaning, and pressure washing; crews get daily routes; every job ends with completion photos; and invoices are sent automatically with card payment links.”
How it comes together
Plans renew and failed cards get handled. A biweekly plan can be a subscription on your own Stripe account. It renews on schedule and can pause cleanly when a client is away. If a card fails, retries and recovery emails start before the client becomes a cancellation.
Photos have walls. Completion photos go to the file store with access rules. They are private by default and shared only to the client they belong to.
Reminders run without a person. Day-before reminders, morning route pushes, and evening owner digests can run as scheduled jobs inside your system.
A cleaning company is one shape of local service business; the local businesses page walks through the others and what they share.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the cleaning and home services platform you need, and it builds a real app with scheduling, crew screens, client pages, photos, and billing.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds around your crews, routes, services, checklists, access notes, prices, and client rules.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can ask for new services, different pricing, route rules, checklist fields, or billing changes later.
Can clients skip or reschedule a visit themselves?
Yes. Each client can sign in to their own page and skip, push, or add a visit within the rules you set.
Where do gate codes and alarm notes live?
On the home record, readable only by the assigned crew and office staff. Other clients and unassigned crews do not see them.
What happens when a card fails after a visit?
Kliv’s commerce engine can retry the charge on a schedule and send a recovery email with a link to the client’s billing page.
Can I run one-off deep cleans and recurring plans together?
Yes. One catalog can hold subscriptions for recurring homes and one-time purchases for move-outs and deep cleans.
Do customers need their own Stripe accounts?
No. Customers just pay by card or the payment methods you enable. Stripe is your payment account.
Does Kliv take a cut?
No. Payments run on your own Stripe account. Card processing costs are between you and Stripe.
Can crews upload completion photos?
Yes. Photos can attach to a visit and be shown privately to that client.
Can reminders and digests run automatically?
Yes. Scheduled jobs can send route pushes, visit reminders, recovery emails, and owner digests.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Booking pages, client pages, and staff screens can run on your own domain.
