What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a course platform with a certificate download — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the register, eligibility rules, exam sittings, checkout, renewal logic, CE ledger, verification page, and admin screens. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking, and run payments on your own Stripe account. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is a certification and accreditation platform. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why a course platform cannot hold the credential
A credential is not just a PDF at the end of a course. It is a live status that employers may check years later. It can lapse when a renewal is unpaid, depend on continuing-education evidence, and be revoked with a reason and date.
Kliv builds the institute around the register: who holds the credential, in what standing, and why. Exam sittings, eligibility, CE credits, renewals, revocations, appeals, and verification all read or write that record.

Role history, sponsor sign-off, and prerequisites can be checked before an exam seat is sold.
Exam sittings
Spring and fall sittings can have real seat caps. A 40-seat sitting sells 40 seats, and the 41st checkout is refused.
The register
The live list of credential holders and standing. Public verification reads it directly, so old certificates remain checkable.
Renewals and lapses
An $85 annual renewal can run on your own Stripe account. Failed payments retry, reminders send repair links, and unresolved accounts lapse on your policy date.
CE credits and evidence
Members can log 20 hours a year, each with a certificate or attendance sheet attached, and random audit samples can be drawn.
Revocations and appeals
A revocation records reason, date, and deciding officer. The verification page tells the current standing immediately.

Here’s how one institute might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own eligibility rules, exam windows, fees, renewal policy, CE requirements, and verification details.
Eligibility gates the application
Rikke submits two years of role history and her sponsor’s sign-off. The exam seat cannot be bought until the eligibility record qualifies.
The seat count is real
She pays the $340 exam fee for the fall sitting and gets seat 31 of 40. Checkout and the seat count read the same table.
The register updates from the result
Her pass writes a register entry, creates certificate #2214, and sends the result letter in the institute’s wording.
CE progress stays visible
During the working year, Rikke logs a conference and two webinars with evidence files. Her dashboard and the institute both show 14 of 20 hours.
Renewal keeps the status current
Year one renews cleanly. Year two, her card is reissued; retries and reminders fix it before the register has to mark her lapsed.

What a verification link touches
The register reads the payment record. When a renewal clears, standing is current. When the grace period ends unpaid, standing can change to lapsed, and member-only access can close.
Verification can be public without exposing private data. Employers paste a certificate number and get standing: current, lapsed, or revoked. They do not get a member directory to scrape.
You can rehearse the lifecycle first. In the Sandbox, use test payments and simulated time to graduate a fictional cohort, run renewals, fail one card, recover it, and lapse another before real candidates or dollars exist.
Email uses your voice. Pass letters, audit notices, and renewal reminders can use your templates and send from your domain.

What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For certification, that can mean eligibility, exam seats, checkout, a live register, renewals, CE credits, revocations, and verification.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the data, workflows, screens, and access rules around your credentialing policy.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can ask for changes such as a new eligibility rule, renewal fee, CE requirement, register field, or audit process.
Can employers verify a certificate without an account?
Yes. The verification page can take a credential ID and return standing from the live register without exposing other member data.
What happens when a renewal payment fails?
Retries and reminder emails can run first. If the grace period ends unpaid, the register can flip to lapsed and member-only access can close.
Can the exam itself run on the platform?
Yes. Timed sittings, question banks, and results written to the candidate record are app functionality you can describe.
What can we show during an audit?
The register history: who was issued what, from which result, and every status change with date and reason. The records are yours and can export.
Can we cap exam seats?
Yes. Seat counts are enforced by the app. A 40-seat sitting stops selling after 40 seats.
Does Kliv take a cut of exam fees or renewals?
No. Payments run on your own Stripe account. Card processing fees are between you and Stripe.
Do candidates need Stripe accounts?
No. Candidates and members pay by card. Stripe is how the money reaches your account.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The platform and verification page can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, and your records can be exported.
Do I need a separate admin tool?
No. The app is its own admin for candidates, sittings, register entries, renewals, CE credits, revocations, and emails.
