Build an AI-powered music composition and arrangement platform
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your music commission workflow, and it builds the studio system around it: briefs, versions, private stems, revision packs, licenses, and invoices.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv doesn’t compose music for you — it’s an AI app builder that creates software for your business.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: briefs, project pages, file access, payments, licenses, and admin screens. For paid commissions, checkout can run on your own Stripe account. You can change the app later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is an AI-powered music composition and arrangement platform for a commission studio. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build your own commission portal?
A commission studio needs more than the tools that make the music. Briefs arrive in emails, reference tracks expire, notes refer to the wrong version, and licenses get separated from invoices.
Kliv builds the business side as one app. Each commission has a brief, versions, comments, files, revision balance, payment, and license record. Clients sign in to their own projects, and the composing or arranging still happens in your own tools.
What a commission carries
Each commission keeps the records needed from first brief to final delivery.
The brief
Key, tempo, instrumentation, reference tracks, and deadline are captured on the form you define instead of scattered across calls and emails.
Versions of the cue
Sketch, first pass, revised bridge, and master are numbered entries. Client comments attach to the version they concern.
Stems and scores
Deliverables live in the file store with access rules per project. One client sees only their own commissions.
Revision packs
Two rounds can be included. Extra rounds can be bought as packs, with the remaining balance visible to the studio and client.
The license
Sync, mechanical, work-for-hire, or other terms stay attached to the commission, so the invoice and license agree.
The client’s view
A signed-in client sees their commissions, versions, invoices, and downloads. Other clients’ work is not available to their account.
An example: Leah’s string-arrangement studio
Here’s how one studio might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own briefs, revision rules, prices, deliverables, and licenses.
A client submits a complete brief
A film-school director asks for ninety seconds of strings and felt piano, adds key, tempo, deadline, and reference tracks, and the files land on the commission record.
The first version gets comments in the right place
Leah posts version one from her own tools. The director listens on the project page, and comments stay attached to version one instead of drifting through email.
Included revisions are counted
The second round handles brighter cellos and a lower entrance at 0:40. The round spends from the included revision balance, visible to both sides.
Extra work is bought before it starts
A third round is outside the included scope, so the client buys a $90 revision pack through checkout before the work begins.
Approval unlocks the final files
When the master is approved, stems and the license unlock for download on that project. The brief, versions, notes, money, and license remain searchable.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so include the brief fields, revision rules, prices, file access, and license terms. Here are three examples:
String arrangement studio
Briefs, versioned deliveries, and revision packs.
“Build a commission portal for my string-arrangement studio. Clients submit key, tempo, instrumentation, deadline, and two reference tracks, I upload numbered versions for comment, two revision rounds are included, and extra rounds cost $90 as revision packs.”
Media composer portal
Cues for film and games.
“Build a portal where film and game clients commission cues, review watermarked previews, comment on each version, pay invoices through my Stripe account, and unlock final stems only after the invoice is paid.”
Custom song shop
Occasion songs with intake and delivery.
“Build a shop selling custom wedding songs for $450. Customers complete an intake questionnaire, get two included revisions, buy extra rounds for $75, and receive final files on a private delivery page.”
The studio back office
Kliv does not compose. Your DAW, notation software, session players, and creative process remain yours. Kliv builds the system that runs the commission business around them.
One catalog can hold several ways to charge. A $450 commission, a $90 revision pack, and a monthly retainer can sit in the same catalog, with checkout on your own Stripe account.
The assistant can answer from your terms. Upload licensing notes, delivery specs, and file naming rules. The assistant can answer common client questions from documents you wrote, not from guesses about music law.
Commissions are one part of a creator business. Memberships, sample packs, and back catalogs are covered on the creators page.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder that creates custom web apps from a description. For a commission studio, it can build briefs, versioned deliveries, private files, payments, licenses, and client pages.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds your commission workflow, database, permissions, and pages around how your studio works.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can add new brief fields, file types, revision rules, license terms, or prices later.
Does Kliv compose or arrange the music?
No. Kliv builds the application around your work. Composition and arrangement happen in your own tools.
Can clients hear work in progress before they own it?
Yes. You can post watermarked previews to a project page while final stems stay locked until approval or payment.
What stops one client from seeing another client’s cues?
Client access is scoped to their own commission records and files. Other projects are not served to their account.
Can I sell retainers as well as one-off commissions?
Yes. The catalog can include flat-fee commissions, revision packs, and monthly retainers.
Does Kliv take a cut of sales?
No. Payments run through your own Stripe account. Card fees are between you and Stripe.
Do clients need Stripe accounts?
No. They just pay by card. Stripe handles payment to your account.
Can license terms stay attached to delivery?
Yes. Each commission can record what rights were granted, and those terms can appear with invoices and downloads.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, and records and files are exportable.
