Build a music teacher studio site
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe a music teacher studio site with lesson booking, ten-lesson packs, private student pages, and Friday progress emails, and it builds it on your own domain.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a generic scheduling tool or website template you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the data, the logic, the screens, and the workflows. You own the result, run it on your own domain, and change it later by asking for changes. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a music teacher studio site. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build your own studio site?
A teaching studio is not just a calendar. It has families, prepaid lesson balances, cancellation rules, student materials, progress notes, and reminders. A scheduling app can book a slot, but it usually does not know the lesson pack, the practice recording, or the Friday note home.
Kliv builds one site where those pieces work together. Your booking rules, payment flow, practice pages, and emails become one app instead of several tools you reconcile by hand.
What the studio keeps
A studio site needs records for the work between lessons.
Students and families
A student belongs to a family account. Parents can book, pay, and read updates, while older students can have their own login for practice materials.
Lesson calendar
Weekly slots follow your term rules, including a 24-hour cancellation window and one makeup lesson per term if that is your policy. A booked slot is not offered twice.
Lesson packs
A ten-lesson pack is a prepaid balance. Each taught lesson spends one credit, parents see what remains, and a top-up email can send when the balance gets low.
Practice shelf
Each student’s private page holds recordings, annotated scores, and assignments. Only that family can see the files.
Progress emails
Notes written after lessons can become a weekly digest for each family, sent on the studio’s own template.
An example: Ingrid’s violin studio
Here’s how one teacher might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own instrument, lesson rules, prices, and parent communication.
A family books a trial lesson
Milo’s family books a public trial slot. Their family account is created during booking, with sign-in by Google or email.
His parent buys a ten-lesson pack
Milo’s mother buys a $450 ten-lesson pack. The balance appears on the family page immediately because the purchase and the balance are linked.
The recurring slot is protected
Milo keeps Tuesday at 4 p.m. for the term. A late cancellation spends a credit if that is Ingrid’s rule, so she does not have to argue at the door.
Practice materials land in one place
After each lesson, Ingrid uploads a short recording, marks the score, and writes the week’s assignment. It appears on Milo’s page and nowhere else.
Parents get one clear update
On Friday, lesson notes become a progress email for the family, using Ingrid’s own template.
The pack renews before it runs out
When two credits remain, the site sends a top-up email with a checkout link. Ingrid can keep teaching instead of tracking balances by hand.
Describe the studio site you want
Kliv builds from your description, so include your lesson format, prices, policies, private materials, and messages to families. Here are three examples:
Violin studio site
Lesson packs, practice pages, and Friday emails.
“Build a violin studio site where parents book weekly 45-minute lessons, buy ten-lesson packs for $450, follow a 24-hour cancellation rule, and open a private page per student with recordings, scores, assignments, and a Friday progress email.”
Two-teacher piano school
Separate calendars and shared student records.
“Build a site for a two-teacher piano school. Each teacher needs a separate calendar, the school needs one shared student roster, parents should book term-based group classes, and every student should have a private practice page with assignments and teacher notes.”
Drum lessons plus gear
Slots, packs, and a small shop.
“Build a drum-lesson site with weekly lesson slots, prepaid five-lesson and ten-lesson packs, a private practice page for each student, and a small shop selling sticks, practice pads, and method books through the same checkout.”
How it comes together
The pack is a balance. A purchase creates lesson credits on the family’s record. Each taught lesson spends one, and the parent can see the remaining balance.
Practice files are private. Recordings and scores live behind access rules for one family, not public links that someone hopes will stay hidden.
Weekly emails run on a schedule. A scheduled job collects each family’s lesson notes and sends a digest from your template.
You can test before charging. Bookings, pack purchases, low-balance emails, and failed-card recovery can run on test payments before you connect your own Stripe account.
When lessons grow into recorded curriculum or cohorts, the courses page covers that next step.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe your studio site, and it builds the booking, payments, private pages, and emails as one real app.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Your students, families, lessons, packs, materials, and emails are stored as records with rules you define.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can ask for changes to prices, cancellation rules, email wording, lesson lengths, or anything else in plain words.
Can parents book and pay without me involved?
Yes. The calendar offers allowed slots, checkout sells the packs, and the family balance updates automatically.
What happens when someone cancels late?
The rule you set is enforced by the app. Inside the cancellation window, the credit can be spent; outside it, the lesson can be rescheduled without charge.
Can each student see only their own materials?
Yes. Files and notes can be scoped to one family account, so another parent cannot open them.
Do I need payments set up before trying it?
No. You can test the studio with simulated payments first, then connect your own Stripe account when you are ready.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The studio site can run on your own domain.
Do I need a separate CMS?
No. The app is its own admin. You can edit students, lesson notes, files, page text, and policies inside the site.
Can I sell gear or books too?
Yes, if you ask for it. Lesson packs and shop products can go through the same checkout.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
