Recruitment & Hiring Management
Build an AI-powered candidate sourcing and outreach tool
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your candidate sourcing workflow, and it builds a real app for applicant pools, role briefs, reviewed outreach drafts, reply-aware sequences, and send logs.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a recruiting add-on or a mail-merge template — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app your recruiting team needs in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, role briefs, draft review, email sequences, do-not-contact rules, reply records, and dashboards. You own it, run it on your own accounts, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is a candidate sourcing and outreach tool. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this page focuses on working the applicant pool you already own.
Why past applicants are worth working
A company may already have thousands of past applicants: finalists, qualified people who applied at the wrong time, and people with certifications that fit a new opening. If that pool sits in exports and spreadsheets, recruiters end up paying job boards again.
Kliv builds a sourcing desk around the pool. Applicant records, role briefs, reviewed drafts, reply-aware sequences, and do-not-contact rules live in one application.
The sourcing desk’s inventory
The records that make outreach specific, reviewable, and bounded.
The pool
Each past applicant is a record with trade, certifications, interview notes, outcome, and consent status. The pool becomes usable instead of sitting in an export.
The role brief
Second shift, MIG and flux-core, certification required, pay band stated. The brief is what the agent reads before drafting.
The draft
The agent drafts each note from the role brief and that candidate’s own record, such as 2024 interview notes and certifications. A recruiter reviews before sending.
The sequence
A note can go on day zero and a nudge on day six. Any reply stops the rest of that person’s sequence.
The reply ledger
Replies attach to the candidate record, so the next recruiter sees the history instead of starting from zero.
Do-not-contact
A stored mark ends active sequences and removes the person from future audiences. It is checked at send time.
An example: Petra’s shipyard recruiting desk
Here’s how one recruiting team might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own applicant pool, roles, review rules, sequences, and consent rules.
The brief defines the search
Petra enters second shift, MIG and flux-core, current certification, and pay band in writing. The brief is saved in five minutes.
The pool returns qualified people
Search across her own applicant notes surfaces fourteen candidates, including a fabricator whose 2024 note says he kept the line running through the retrofit.
Drafts are reviewed before sending
The agent writes each note from the candidate’s record. Petra rewrites two, approves the rest, and every send is logged with her name.
Follow-up stops on reply
The day-six nudge goes only to the nine people who stayed silent. One asks not to be contacted again, and the do-not-contact mark ends his sequence.
Booking writes back to the record
A fabricator picks an interview time through the Calendly link. The booking sits on his candidate record before Petra hears about it.
The pool improves after the hire
Outcome and notes are recorded. The next requisition starts from a pool with more current history.
Describe the sourcing desk you want
Kliv builds from your description, so include the applicant data, role brief fields, review rules, sequence timing, consent rules, and logging. Here are three examples:
Shipyard sourcing desk
Trade briefs, drafted outreach, and human review.
“Build a candidate sourcing and outreach tool for our shipyard. Store 3,100 past applicants with trade, certifications, interview notes, outcome, and consent status. Let recruiters write a role brief, have an agent draft personalized outreach for human review, stop sequences on reply, enforce do-not-contact at send time, and log every approved send.”
Nurse outreach sequences
Reply-aware sequences and strict do-not-contact.
“Build a nurse recruiting outreach app. Track past applicants by specialty, license state, shift preference, and consent status. Send a day-zero note and day-six follow-up only after recruiter approval, stop all follow-ups on reply, and make do-not-contact override every campaign.”
Silver-medalist revival
Past finalists matched to new roles.
“Build a re-hire outreach tool for warehouse roles. Find strong past applicants for new openings, draft notes that cite their prior application and interview notes, require recruiter approval before sending, and log every send and reply on the candidate record.”
What the desk runs on
The agent has limited access. It reads only the rows the signed-in recruiter may read and acts only through capabilities you grant, such as looking up a record, drafting a note, or booking a slot.
Sequences run on schedule. Scheduled jobs send approved nudges, retire finished sequences, and produce a weekly digest of replies.
Mail answers to your team. Notes go from your recruiting address, and each send records who approved it, when, and to whom.
A sourcing desk is usually the first internal tool a team wishes it had. Internal tools on Kliv is the shelf where the rest of them live.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the recruiting app you need, and Kliv builds the database, screens, sequences, rules, and agent support.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. It is built around your applicant pool, role briefs, consent rules, review flow, and logs, not a generic outreach template.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can add fields, change sequence timing, revise review rules, add reports, or change access by asking.
Does it scrape LinkedIn or buy contact lists?
No. The desk works the pool you own: people who applied to you and consented to be contacted.
Does the agent send anything on its own?
Only if you deliberately grant that capability. The setup described here drafts for human review, and each send is logged with an approver.
What does do-not-contact stop?
Everything. The mark ends active sequences and excludes the person from future audiences because it is checked at send time.
Can hiring managers browse the whole pool?
No, unless you allow it. Access can be role-scoped so hiring managers see candidates attached to their own requisitions while recruiters see the wider pool.
Can sequences stop when someone replies?
Yes. Replies attach to the candidate record and stop remaining follow-ups in that person’s sequence.
Can the app use our own recruiting email address?
Yes. Outreach can go from your own recruiting address, with sends recorded as events.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
