    What is Kliv?

Kliv isn’t a job board product you configure — it’s an AI that builds software for you.

You describe the app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the logic, the screens, and the checkout. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking, and run payments through your own Stripe account. It isn’t a template with your logo on it.

On this page, that app is a job posting and search platform. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; a niche job board is one example.

Why build your own job board?

General job sites are built for broad search. That makes them weak for trades where the details matter. A veterinary technician wants to know the license level, rotation schedule, weekend on-call expectations, region, and relocation help before applying.

Generic job-board software gives every board the same fields. Kliv builds the board around the trade. The posting form asks the questions that matter, search filters use those answers, and the niche knowledge you already have becomes part of the product.

    Both sides of the board

A job board has employers and candidates sharing one database, with strict walls between them.

    Clinics and postings

Each clinic is an account. Each posting carries role, license requirement, salary band, and rotation schedule. A posting belongs to the clinic that bought it, in the data.

    Search for the trade

Candidates filter by license level, region, emergency rotation, housing, and relocation help. They do not have to make one keyword box do all the work.

    Saved alerts

A candidate saves a search once. A nightly job emails new matches and stops when the candidate marks herself hired.

    Applications

A CV and note land with the clinic that posted the role and nowhere else. One clinic cannot read another clinic’s applicants.

    Postings as products

A 30-day posting can be a $95 purchase at checkout on your Stripe account. Chains can buy five-packs. Every listing expires on its own schedule.

    Moderation

New listings wait in a queue until you approve them. Rejected listings go back with a reason, and off-topic posts never reach the front page.

An example: Karin’s veterinary job board

Here’s how one business might use a job board built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own trade, posting rules, prices, and candidate flow.

    01

    A clinic buys a posting

A two-vet practice signs up and buys a $95, 30-day posting at checkout. The form asks for license level, salary band, and on-call rotation because those fields matter in veterinary hiring.

    02

The listing goes live and can be found

After Karin approves it, the listing publishes as its own page, enters the sitemap, and is served as a rendered page to crawlers so it can win specific searches.

    03

    Saved alerts send useful matches

The nightly job finds fourteen candidates whose saved searches match the region and license level. Each gets a targeted email, not a general newsletter.

    04

Applications stay with the right clinic

Eight technicians apply. The clinic shortlists them inside the board, and no other clinic can see that those applicants exist.

    05

    A filled role closes early

The clinic marks the role hired. The listing closes, alert emails stop mentioning it, and the clinic’s five-pack still has three postings for next time.

    06

Expired jobs do not go stale

Listings that do not fill close on schedule after 30 days. A renewal email offers a repost, and the board avoids old vacancies that make it look untended.

Describe the board you want to build

Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Say who posts, who searches, what employers pay, what candidates filter by, and what should happen when a listing expires. Here are three to build on:

    kliv.dev

    Regional trade board

One trade, one region, with paid postings and useful filters.

“Build a job board for electricians in the Pacific Northwest. Contractors should pay $80 for a 30-day posting on my Stripe account. Candidates should filter by certification, county, union status, and travel range. New matching postings should go out in a nightly alert email, and listings should expire automatically after 30 days unless the contractor renews.”

    kliv.dev

    Seasonal staffing board

Roles that close when the season ends.

“Build a seasonal jobs board for ski resorts. Lodges should post housing-included roles, set the season dates, and pay $120 per posting. Applicants should filter by season, location, housing, lift-pass benefits, and role type. Every posting should expire on the season end date, and candidates should be able to save searches for weekly alerts.”

    kliv.dev

    Internal mobility board

Openings inside one organization with confidential applications.

“Build an internal job board for our hospital group. Departments should post openings with location, shift, grade, and closing date. Staff should apply confidentially so their current manager cannot see it, and HR should review applications only after the posting closes.”

    The business under the board

Postings are catalog products. Single posts, five-packs for chains, and launch-month promo codes can all sell through checkout on your own Stripe account. Every purchase creates a receipt and stays on the clinic’s account history.

Search traffic matters. Every listing is an indexable page. The sitemap updates as postings come and go, crawlers get rendered pages instead of a blank script shell, and a per-page SEO audit shows weak listings.

A job board is a small two-sided SaaS: accounts, plans, listings, moderation, and an operating rhythm. Running that wider shape is covered on the SaaS solutions page.

    Common questions

    What exactly is Kliv?

Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For a job board, it builds the posting forms, search, alerts, employer accounts, checkout, moderation, and application flow around your rules.

Do I get a real app, or a template?

A real app. Kliv builds the database, the logic, and the screens for your board. It is not a generic theme with renamed fields.

Can I change it after it’s built?

Yes. You ask for changes in plain words. You can add fields, adjust prices, change moderation, or add new employer products later.

    How do employers pay?

Employers pay through checkout on your own Stripe account. You can sell single postings, bundles for repeat hirers, and promotion codes for launch or region-building.

    Do candidates need accounts?

That is your choice. A common setup is public browsing, with an account required for applications and saved searches.

    Can candidates save searches?

Yes. A candidate can save a search and receive new matching postings by email on the schedule you set.

What keeps spam off the board?

New listings can wait in a moderation queue. You approve or reject with a reason before anything appears publicly.

Will listings show up in search?

Yes. Each posting can be a real page in the sitemap, served in a crawler-readable form so specific long-tail searches can find it.

Can one employer see another employer’s applicants?

No. Applications are scoped to the posting clinic or employer. The database rule keeps each employer inside its own postings.

Does Kliv take a cut of posting payments?

No. Payments run through your own Stripe account. Stripe’s card fees are between you and Stripe.

Can I add featured listings later?

Yes. A featured listing or employer subscription is another product in the same catalog, tied to the posting rules you define.

Can I move off Kliv later?

Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild from scratch.
