Build a sports facility booking system
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your facility — courts, member booking windows, league nights, maintenance blocks, and peak prices — and it builds the booking system.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a booking product with fixed settings — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, calendar rules, checkout flow, member pages, and admin screens. What you get is a real web app that’s yours, on your own domain, and you can change it later by asking.
On this page, that app is a sports facility booking system. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; court and hall booking is one example.
Why build your own booking system?
A busy facility has rules a simple calendar does not understand. Members may book further ahead than visitors. League nights may reserve four courts at the same time every week. Morning and evening slots may have different prices.
Kliv turns those rules into records the calendar reads. The desk, the public booking page, the member view, and checkout all use the same availability and pricing rules.
The hall, in five records
Each record carries a rule the desk used to enforce by hand.
The courts
Each court has surface notes, maintenance blocks, and tonight’s grid. A court being resanded is not offered through any booking path.
The booking
A booking records who booked, which court, which hour, and how it was paid or allowed. The calendar and checkout read the same record.
Members and booking windows
Membership sets how far ahead someone can book: for example, 14 days for members and 7 days for visitors. Every page reads that rule.
The league
Monday fixtures, player-entered scores, and a league table live in the app. Promotion and relegation are computed from the results that land.
The price calendar
Morning and evening rates are catalog entries with time windows. Checkout reads the hour and charges the right price.
An example: Duarte’s six-court padel hall
Here’s how one business might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own courts, members, prices, and booking rules.
Members get the longer window
Members can book 14 days out because the booking window is a rule on their membership. Visitors see 7 days.
League nights reserve the right courts
Courts 1 to 4 are blocked for the Monday league at 19:00. Nobody books over the league, and the desk does not maintain a second calendar.
A cancellation returns to the calendar
A 19:00 court frees up at 16:12. It is available to book immediately, and someone claims it from a phone before 16:30.
No-shows change the booking window
After two unpaid no-shows in a month, a member’s 14-day window becomes 3 days until the month resets. The rule applies evenly.
Prices follow the time slot
Morning slots cost €22 and evening slots cost €36. Checkout switches by the clock, so the 10:00 court and the 19:00 court price correctly.
Describe your floor plan and rules
Kliv builds from your description, so include the spaces, booking windows, recurring blocks, prices, and payment rules.
Padel hall bookings
Six courts with member windows, league blocks, and peak pricing.
“Build a six-court padel hall booking system with a 14-day booking window for members, a 7-day window for visitors, Monday league blocks on courts 1 to 4 from 19:00 to 21:00, €22 morning slots, and €36 evening slots charged at checkout.”
Five-a-side pitches
Team accounts and recurring paid slots.
“Build a pitch booking system for two indoor five-a-side pitches with team accounts, recurring Thursday 20:00 slots, €58 hourly bookings paid online, and cancellation rules that reopen the slot immediately.”
Community sports hall
One floor with multiple layouts and buffers.
“Build a community hall booking system where the same floor can book as four badminton courts or one basketball court, with 15-minute changeover buffers between layouts and prices of €18 per badminton court or €65 for the full hall.”
What the desk stops deciding
Membership is a record the whole system reads. It can set the booking window, discount, and standing slot. If a member pauses, the resume date is on the record.
One calendar handles paid and included bookings. Visitors can pay at booking on your own Stripe account. Members can use included hours without creating a charge. The hour is still booked in the same calendar.
Planning reports come from the rows. Occupancy by hour, court, and season can be read from the booking records instead of reconstructed from the till.

Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For a sports facility, it builds a real booking system with your courts, prices, members, and rules.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the calendar, database, checkout flow, and admin screens for your facility.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. Ask for changes such as a new league block, a different no-show rule, or new pricing windows, and Kliv updates the app.
Can leagues and open bookings share one calendar?
Yes. A league block is a booking made by a standing rule, on the same calendar as open bookings.
How do peak and off-peak prices work?
Prices are catalog entries with time windows. Checkout reads the booking hour and charges the matching price.
What stops double bookings?
The database refuses two bookings for the same court-hour, no matter whether the booking came from the desk or a customer phone.
Can members and visitors see different availability?
Yes. They read the same calendar through different booking windows, such as 14 days for members and 7 for visitors.
Can customers pay online?
Yes. Visitor bookings can be paid online through checkout on your own Stripe account.
Can memberships include free hours?
Yes. A member’s included hours can book the calendar without generating a payment, while still reserving the court.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The booking app can run on your own domain.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s source syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull.
