Build a resort and tourism website
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the resort and tourism website you need — direct booking, cabin-week inventory, rates, returning-guest windows, and guest pages — and it builds it on your own domain.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a booking template you configure — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the site you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the pages, the booking engine, the database, the rate rules, the guest pages, the checkout, and the admin screens. What you get is a real website and web app that’s yours, on your own domain. You can use it, change it later by asking for changes, and run it on your own accounts, including your own Stripe account for payments. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a resort and tourism website. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build direct booking into the site
A resort website is not only a brochure. For many resorts, the site must hold real inventory, enforce seasonal rates, remember returning guests, collect payment, and keep guest details in one place. Listing platforms can help fill gaps, but they usually do not know your returning-family rituals.
Kliv builds the website with the booking engine inside. Cabins, weeks, rates, payments, guest history, and first-refusal windows live in one database on your own domain.
Twelve cabins, fifty-two weeks
Inventory here is a grid: cabin by week. Everything else hangs off it.
Cabins and weeks
Each cabin is a record with sleeps-count, dock, and quirks. Each week books once. Two families cannot hold Cabin Nine for week 31.
Rate card
Peak weeks, shoulder weeks, and quiet June weeks are priced in advance and enforced by the catalog.
Returning families
A returning family record can hold their usual cabin, usual week, and first-refusal flag.
The week itself
Canoe hours, fish-fry signups, sauna slots, and arrival details can attach to the guest’s booking.
Guest pages
One family sees its own balance, arrival notes, dock assignment, and booking details. The office sees the whole grid.
An example: Verna’s lakeside cabin resort
Here’s how one resort might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own inventory, rates, returning-guest rules, guest pages, and payment flow.
Returning families get first refusal
In February, a scheduled email goes to every returning family with their usual cabin and week already named. The Kowalczyks click once and pay for week 31.
Unclaimed weeks open publicly
At midnight on March 15, unclaimed weeks go public. The website sells the remaining inventory at the rates Verna already set.
Check-in reads from the booking
In June, the office sees dock assignment, boat request, and crib note for the newest Kowalczyk from the booking record.
Activity signups attach to the stay
The Wednesday fish fry has 41 guests signed up, including eight gluten-free meals, all visible before prep starts.
Next summer sells before this one ends
Families can rebook next summer on the way out: same cabin, same week, paid before the car is packed.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include inventory, rates, booking rules, guest history, payments, and SEO needs. Here are three to build on:
Lakeside cabin resort
Weekly stays, seasonal rates, and returning families.
“Build a direct-booking website for my 12-cabin lake resort. Cabins book Saturday-to-Saturday by week. Set peak weeks at $1,240, shoulder weeks at $980, and quiet June weeks at $820. Offer each returning family its usual cabin and week by email in February, hold it until March 15, then release unclaimed weeks publicly. Take payment through my Stripe account.”
Ski chalet bookings
Winter weeks, holiday pricing, and arrival notes.
“Build a winter booking site for my four ski chalets. Book Saturday-to-Saturday winter weeks, charge $2,900 for Christmas and New Year weeks and $1,850 for regular winter weeks, collect payment online, and give each guest a page for arrival details, lift-pass requests, and gear notes.”
Guided tours operator
Fixed departures and guide rosters.
“Build a website for my kayak tour company. Offer fixed departures with 10 seats each, charge $145 per person, take payment at booking, collect paddling experience and dietary notes, and email guides a roster each morning.”
The season, sold direct
The grid is the source of truth. Bookings write to the cabin-week cell, and a cell holds one booking. Payment happens at claim time on the resort’s own Stripe account.
The first-refusal window is a rule. Returning families see their week held from the day the email goes out to the day public booking opens. Both the hold and the release are dates the system enforces.
New guests can still find you. Public pages ship with a sitemap, per-page SEO checks, and prerendered pages that search engines and AI assistants can read.
A resort is a local business whose customers live far away — found by search, kept by ritual. The businesses your guests drive past on the way in run on the same bones; yours just has a longer driveway.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom websites and web apps from a description. For a resort, that can mean public pages, direct booking, rates, payments, guest pages, and admin screens.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real website and app. Kliv builds the pages, booking database, rate rules, checkout, and guest records around your resort.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can change rates, seasons, guest fields, activity signups, booking rules, or page content later.
Can we keep taking bookings by phone?
Yes. The office can book into the same grid guests use online, so phone and website reservations cannot collide.
How do returning-guest windows work?
Each family record can carry its cabin, week, and hold dates. Until the public opening date, that cabin-week is theirs to claim. After that, unclaimed weeks sell publicly.
What about the platforms we already list on?
You can keep them for gap weeks. The direct site becomes the place where loyal guests book without marketplace commission and where guest history stays in your own database.
Can guests pay online?
Yes. Payment can run at booking through your own Stripe account, and the receipt can appear on the guest’s page.
Does Kliv take a cut of bookings?
No. Payments run through your own Stripe account. Kliv does not take a percentage of each booking.
Do guests need their own Stripe accounts?
No. Guests just pay by card. Stripe is how money reaches your account.
Will the site show up in search?
Yes. Public pages are prerendered so search engines and AI assistants can read them, and the site can include a sitemap and per-page SEO checks.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The website runs on your own domain.
Do I need a separate booking engine?
No. The booking engine, public pages, guest pages, rate rules, and admin can be one app.
