Hospitality Management
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your property, guide, booking rules, and escalation path, and it builds an AI-powered receptionist for your guests.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a chatbot widget you paste onto a site — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, guest screens, booking logic, permissions, emails, and the assistant itself. What you get is a real web app that’s yours, live on your own domain, and you can change it later by asking for changes.
On this page, that app is an AI-powered receptionist for a hospitality business. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; guest-service tools are one example.
Small properties get guest questions at all hours: late check-in, breakfast, ferries, bikes, parking, key codes, and small changes to a booking. A shared inbox can answer them, but only when a person is awake.
Kliv builds the receptionist around your own house guide and your actual booking records. It answers from the material you wrote, sees only the signed-in guest’s booking, and takes only the actions you grant.
The receptionist is only useful because the records behind it are specific.
Dates, room, party size, and requests. When a guest asks about early check-in, the answer depends on that room and that date.
Your uploaded pages: parking, ferry times, sauna rules, spare pillows, breakfast choices. The assistant answers from this guide and does not go beyond it.
The assistant runs under the guest’s own sign-in, so it can read that guest’s booking and no one else’s. The same row rules apply to the assistant as to the rest of the app.
You grant actions one by one: extend checkout, book a bike, change breakfast headcount. Every action is written back to the booking.
If the guide cannot answer, the question becomes a support thread for a person to handle in the morning instead of a midnight phone call.
Pre-arrival emails use your schedule and design, and every conversation is stored so the owners can read the night shift over coffee.
Here’s how one property might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own rooms, guide, and guest rules.
A guest asks whether late check-in is possible. The receptionist reads her booking, finds the arrival date, and answers with The Ferry House’s own late-arrival routine from the guide.
She asks about the early ferry. The answer comes from the guide’s ferry timetable, and the receptionist offers a packed breakfast because Piet granted that action. The change is recorded on her booking.
On Sunday she asks for more time. The assistant checks whether room five turns over that day. If it does not, noon is granted and recorded; if it does, the guest gets the house’s luggage-room answer.
A kayak question is not in the guide. The receptionist opens a support thread; Piet answers it from the kitchen; later the guide gets a kayak paragraph so the next guest gets an instant answer.
Room, bikes, and packed breakfast all sit on the booking. The invoice and receipt email match The Ferry House’s logo, tone, and guest details.
Nine rooms, no missed messages. The owners read the conversations in the morning and decide which guide pages need another line.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Describe the property, the guide, which guest records the assistant may read, and which actions it may take. Here are three to build on:
Nine rooms, late arrivals, breakfast changes, and escalations.
“Build a guest portal for our nine-room guesthouse. Add an AI receptionist that answers from our house guide, reads each signed-in guest’s booking, can grant late checkout only when the room is not turning over, can add packed breakfasts, and escalates anything outside the guide to us.”
Arrival questions, manuals, and maintenance requests.
“Build a resident portal for our twelve serviced apartments. The assistant should answer arrival and building questions from our manuals, read only the signed-in resident’s booking, file maintenance requests to our team, and show residents the status of their own requests.”
Separate guides and key-safe rules per cottage.
“Build a booking site for our four holiday cottages. Give each cottage its own guide, let the assistant answer arrival questions from the correct guide, and share the key-safe code only with the guest booked into that cottage for those dates.”
It answers from your guide. The assistant’s knowledge is the guide you upload, indexed by the platform. Its context is the signed-in guest’s own booking rows. It cannot discuss another room’s booking because the database never returns it.
Actions are granted, not assumed. Late checkout, bike booking, breakfast changes, and other actions are capabilities you choose. Each use is logged on the booking it touched. You can start read-only and grant actions after reading transcripts.
Escalations improve the guide. Unanswered questions become support threads. Once a person answers, the guide can be updated, and the next guest gets the answer directly.
A guesthouse is one shape of service business. The broader pattern of clients, bookings, and a desk that runs itself is laid out on the services solutions page.
Kliv is an AI app builder that creates custom web apps from a description. For an AI receptionist, it builds the guest portal, booking records, guide search, assistant behavior, email flows, and admin screens around your property.
A real app. Kliv builds the database, screens, permissions, and assistant for your property. You are not configuring a fixed receptionist widget.
Yes. You can ask Kliv to add a new action, edit the guest screens, change escalation rules, or add more guide sections later.
It says so and opens a support thread for a person. It does not invent house policy. You can answer once, add the answer to the guide, and close that gap for future guests.
No. The conversation runs under the guest’s own sign-in. Row-level rules decide what that session can see: that guest’s booking and invoices, not anyone else’s.
Only through actions you grant. Many owners start with answers only, then add late checkouts, bike bookings, or headcount changes after reading transcripts.
They can use the public site and get general answers from the guide, such as rates, seasons, and directions. Booking-specific answers require sign-in.
Yes. It is a web app, so guests can sign in from a phone without installing a separate app.
Yes. The guest portal can run on your own domain and go live as soon as you build it.
No. The app is its own admin. You can edit guide pages, booking rules, emails, and guest-facing text inside the app.
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
Yes. Public pages are prerendered for search engines and AI assistants, and the sitemap is generated automatically.
