Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your music distribution and label platform — releases, direct sales, pre-order pricing, split sheets, artist portals, and statements — and it builds the real app on your own Stripe account.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a distributor dashboard or a storefront template — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: releases, direct store, pre-orders, checkout, split sheets, artist portals, statements, inventory, and admin screens. What you get is a real application that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking, run it on your own domain, and take payments through your own Stripe account. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a music distribution and label platform for direct sales and artist accounting. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one.
A small label can sell direct and still spend too much time rebuilding statements. Orders, formats, pre-order windows, returns, co-writer points, and artist splits all need to line up.
Kliv builds the label’s store and accounting workflow together. Releases sell from your own catalog, each order points to the right split sheet, and each artist sees their own releases, sales, and statements.
Five records keep a small label’s direct sales and statements clear.
Formats, street date, pressing count, and artwork live on the release. Pre-orders can run at $22 until street date and $26 after.
Per-track percentages, co-writer points, and label share attach to the release. Each sale is computed against the split that applies.
Each act signs in to see its own releases, sales, and statements. Other artists’ numbers stay private.
Vinyl can ship with a download code, while digital delivers instantly. Both land in the order table used for statements.
Monthly statements show units, formats, splits, deductions, and the amount owed, computed from order rows and kept in the portal.
Here’s how one independent label might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own roster, releases, formats, prices, split sheets, and statement rules.
Nightjar’s seven-inch goes live with 300 copies, pre-orders at $22, and a street date six weeks away. The digital EP bundle is another product in the same catalog.
Two hundred eleven orders arrive while the band is on tour. Each one is tagged with release, format, and split sheet.
On street date, digital unlocks for pre-order buyers, the price changes to $26, and the mailing list hears from the label’s own domain.
Nightjar’s statement shows 264 units across two formats, co-writer points, one returned mailer deducted, and the amount owed.
The label reviews and pays as usual, but every number on the statement can be traced back to an order.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include formats, prices, pre-order dates, splits, portals, delivery, and statement rules. Here are three to build on:
Vinyl, digital, bundles, pre-order windows, and download codes.
“Build a direct store for my record label. Sell vinyl and digital releases, run pre-orders at $22 until street date and $26 after, offer vinyl-plus-digital bundles, include download codes with physical orders, and send receipts from our own domain.”
Split sheets, monthly statements, and private artist access.
“Build a royalty platform for my label. Attach split sheets to each release and track, compute monthly artist statements from real orders, show co-writer points and deductions, and give each artist a private portal that shows only their releases and sales.”
Singles, name-your-price releases, instant delivery, and track splits.
“Build a digital imprint store. Release singles and EPs with instant delivery, run occasional free and name-your-price releases through the same checkout, and track artist and co-writer splits per track.”
Pre-order windows are catalog rules. Street dates, bundle pricing, and date-based price changes can run on the label’s own Stripe account.
Statements come from orders. Every order row carries its release and split sheet, so statements are computed from the same data artists can inspect. Kliv prepares the numbers; paying the artist remains the label’s act.
Artist portals stay separate. Each act sees its own releases, sales, and statements. Another artist’s ledger is not available from that portal.
Free releases still become records. A compilation at zero price can run through the same checkout, land in the same order table, and show up on statements.
Every act on the roster is a creator business in miniature, and the creators solutions page is written for them and for labels built around them.
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. You describe your label platform, and Kliv builds the app you own.
