Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the digital product marketplace you want — catalog, review queue, download access, seller ledgers, and promo windows — and it builds it on your own Stripe account.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a marketplace product you configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the catalog, the checkout, the access rules, the dashboards, and the screens. You own the result, run payments on your own Stripe account, and keep changing it later by asking for changes. It isn’t a template with your logo on it.
On this page, that app is a digital product marketplace. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one for selling files through a catalog you control.
A producer collective can have the catalog and the audience, but still end up renting shelf space from a large marketplace. Releases sit beside everyone else’s, the buyer relationship belongs to the platform, and the terms can change without the collective deciding.
Kliv builds the marketplace around your own catalog and rules. Packs, presets, templates, buyers, sellers, purchases, and downloads are records in your app, with checkout running on your own Stripe account.
A digital product marketplace is a catalog, a queue, a download shelf, and a ledger. These are the parts Kliv can build.
Packs, preset banks, and templates can each have demo audio, license text, and a price. One-time products, bundles, and free tasters all live in the same catalog.
A new pack starts as a submission with files, artwork, and credits. It reaches the storefront only after a curator approves it or sends it back with notes.
Files stay private by default. A purchase opens the files to that buyer, so delivery is tied to the purchase rather than a public bucket or a link anyone can pass around.
Every sale records which producer owns the pack. Each member can sign in to see their own units, revenue, and top products, while the collective sees the full marketplace.
A launch discount can start and end on schedule. The dates you announce are the dates the store enforces.
Semantic search can look across product descriptions, so a search like “dark rolling techno kicks” can find packs that mean that even if the words are different.
Here’s how one business might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own catalog, sellers, review rules, prices, and download access.
Lena’s collective receives Berlin Basements Vol. 2 from a member: 340 one-shots, artwork, demo audio, credits, and license text. It enters review, not the public catalog.
A curator listens, corrects a genre tag, and approves the pack. It appears in the catalog right away, while the files remain closed until purchase.
At 18:00 on Friday, the drop price opens and an announcement email goes out under the marketplace’s name to buyers who opted into that genre.
A buyer checks out through the collective’s Stripe account. The purchase opens the download shelf for that buyer, and the receipt and download access come from the same record.
A buyer picked the wrong volume. The refund waits for curator approval; when the money goes back, the entitlement closes and the decision remains on the record.
By Sunday, each producer’s dashboard already shows units, revenue, and which demos were played most. No one prepares a spreadsheet on Monday.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include what sellers submit, who reviews it, what buyers receive, and how payments and reports should work.
Reviewed submissions, instant downloads, and seller ledgers.
“Build a digital product marketplace for our 30-member producer collective. Producers submit sample packs with artwork, demo audio, license text, and ZIP files for curator review. Buyers pay through our Stripe account, get instant downloads after checkout, and each producer sees a private dashboard with units sold, revenue, refunds, and top packs.”
Demo audio, artist bundles, and free tasters.
“Build a store for synth preset banks and project templates. Each product needs demo audio, license terms, one-time pricing, artist bundle pricing, and a free taster pack that goes through checkout and opens the same download shelf as paid products.”
Curated submissions and launch codes.
“Build a digital marketplace for our writing group. Authors submit ebooks and worksheets for review, approved products get author pages, launch promo codes are capped at 200 redemptions, and buyers can re-download purchased files from their account.”
Entitlements deliver the files. The purchase row is what the file store checks when the buyer presses download. A refund closes the same door the purchase opened.
Free can still be tracked. Taster packs can use the same checkout and entitlement flow as paid files, so the free funnel and paid conversion live in the same database.
Curation is part of the app. Submissions wait for review, curators approve or reject with reasons, and unapproved files do not reach the storefront.
A marketplace is one way creators sell on Kliv. Memberships, patron tiers, and direct-to-fan sales are covered in Kliv for creators.

A real app. Kliv builds the catalog, submission workflow, checkout, access rules, download shelf, and seller dashboards for your marketplace.
Yes. You can ask for new product types, review steps, reports, promo rules, or seller pages later without starting over.
They get access through their download shelf. The file store checks that the signed-in buyer owns the product every time a file is requested.
Yes. Submissions can land in a moderation queue, and only a curator’s approval publishes them. Rejections can carry notes back to the producer.
Sales land in the collective’s own Stripe account. Each sale records the producer, so the collective can settle its agreed split from exact sales rows.
Files are private by default and served only to a signed-in buyer whose purchase checks out. A copied link does not open for someone else.
No. Payments run on your own Stripe account. Kliv does not sit between you and your buyers for a percentage of each sale.
No. Buyers just pay by card. Stripe is how the money reaches your account.
Yes. Free products can run through the same checkout and download shelf, so you can see which tasters lead to later purchases.
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
