Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your CPQ rules — configuration, price book, margin floors, approval ladder, quote validity, and order handoff — and it builds the tool.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a fixed CPQ suite — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the data, the pricing logic, the screens, and the approval workflow. What you get is a real web app that’s yours. You can use your own domain, run payments through your own Stripe account when a deal needs checkout, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is a CPQ system built around your product rules and price book. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Off-the-shelf CPQ suites are often shaped for enterprise sales operations and still may not know your products. A walk-in cold-room fabricator sells panels, doors, refrigeration units, and floor options that combine under specific rules. A low-temperature room may require a heated door frame, and a certain compressor may not clear a certain ceiling height.
Kliv builds the CPQ around those rules. The price book, compatibility matrix, discount ladder, quote validity, and order handoff live in your own database, and every quote is checked before it can exist.
A CPQ tool should know how your products and prices actually work.
Every component has cost, list price, and margin floor. Reps quote from the book and cannot save a line under the floor unless an approval rule allows it.
Rules define which panel takes which door and which compressor suits which volume. Invalid combinations are refused before they become quotes.
Reps may discount to one limit and managers to another. Anything beyond a threshold opens an approval request with the quote attached.
Each quote carries line items, version, and a validity clock. When the price book changes later, issued quotes keep the prices they promised.
An accepted quote becomes an order without retyping. The shop floor sees the configuration the customer accepted.
Every quote can end as won, lost, or expired, with a reason. Later, you can see which discounts move deals and which reduce margin.
Here’s how one manufacturer might use a CPQ tool built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own products, compatibility rules, price book, discounts, and handoff.
The rep builds a 40 m³ chiller with panels, a sliding door, and a ceiling-mounted unit. An incompatible compressor never appears as an option.
A server-side function reads the configuration and price book, then returns the quote price from the current rules.
The repeat customer needs 14% off, beyond the rep’s limit. The sales director receives the approval request with margin impact and a Slack link.
The quote goes out as a page the customer can open. Its 30-day validity is printed on the page and enforced by the app.
The customer accepts online. The quote state changes, an order is created from the same rows, and the invoice matches the configuration.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include components, compatibility, prices, margins, discounts, validity, and order handoff. Here are three examples:
Components, compatibility, margin floors, and approvals.
“Build a CPQ app for our walk-in cold-room business. Include panels, doors, refrigeration units, and floor options with compatibility rules; a versioned price book with margin floors; manager approval for discounts over 10%; 30-day quote validity; and online acceptance that creates an order.”
Options that depend on the base product.
“Build a quoting tool for industrial mixers. Options should depend on the selected base mixer, prices should come from a versioned price book, quotes should expire after 45 days, and reissued quotes should keep a history of earlier versions.”
Dimensions, materials, rush surcharge, and approval.
“Build a configure-and-quote tool for our signage shop. Dimensions, materials, and installation distance should drive the price; rush jobs should add a 20% surcharge; and managers should approve any discount above 8%.”
One price engine is written down. Pricing logic runs as typed TypeScript server functions. The same logic computes the quote for every rep, and the app’s source syncs to your own Git repository as it evolves.
The pipeline has access rules. A rep sees their own deals, and the sales director sees the team. The separation is applied row by row in the database.
Approvals travel with the quote. The discount request is a quote state plus a Slack message with a link. Approval from a phone updates the quote, and the history records who cleared it and when.
A quote can become money. When a deal should end in a card payment, such as a €4,200 service contract sold with hardware, checkout runs on your own Stripe account. What the customer bought opens when they pay. Quoting is part of the money story; the commerce page covers catalogs, checkout, and renewals.
Because this is your app, it can keep growing: quote volume by region, a weekly summary of expiring quotes, or a product-manager view of options nobody buys.
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For CPQ, it builds the price book, configuration rules, quote workflow, approvals, and order handoff you describe.
A real app. It is built around your components, compatibility rules, price book, margins, discount limits, and sales process.
Yes. Ask for a new component rule, price book field, approval threshold, or quote layout, and Kliv updates the app.
Yes. The margin floor lives on the price book, and a line below the floor cannot save unless it goes through an approval rule.
Issued quotes keep the prices and validity they were sent with. New quotes read the current price book.
Yes. The quote can be a live page. Acceptance records who accepted which version and can turn the quote into an order.
The approval request is a state in the database and can be sent as a Slack link. Approval from a phone updates the quote and records the decision.
No. If you take card payments, they run on your own Stripe account. Card processing fees are between you and Stripe.
No. Customers pay by card where checkout is used. The Stripe account is yours.
Yes. The accepted quote can change state and create an order from the same rows.
Yes. Rep screens and customer quote pages can run on your own domain.
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, and your quote records are exportable.
