What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t an enterprise GRC suite — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the system you need in your own words, and Kliv builds the real app: the database, the workflow, the screens, the files, the reminders, and the access rules. You own it, run it on your own accounts, and change it later by asking. It is not a template.
On this page, that app is a compliance and risk system with controls, evidence, attestations, risks, findings, and auditor access. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one.
Why build your own compliance system?
A 200-person medical-device distributor may have one compliance lead, one annual ISO 13485 audit, around forty controls, and a spreadsheet that goes stale between reviews. Enterprise GRC tools are too much; a spreadsheet is too little.
Kliv builds the middle option: a system that knows your controls, owners, periods, evidence, risk reviews, and findings. Overdue evidence is a query. When the auditor asks to see something, the answer is a page, not a week of file assembly.
What the register holds
The system keeps the records an audit asks for.
Controls register
Each control records what it asserts, who owns it, and how often evidence is required. Overdue status is computed from the last accepted upload.
Risks and scores
Risks keep likelihood, impact, owner, review date, and score history, so changes over time remain visible.
Evidence locker
Uploads attach to a control and period. Files carry access rules, so an auditor can read evidence without seeing unrelated folders.
Attestations
Quarterly campaigns can record each signature with name, timestamp, and policy version. Reminders follow a schedule.
Findings and remediation
Audit findings become records with owners, due dates, evidence, and full lifecycle history from opened to verified.

Here’s how one compliance lead might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own standard, controls, evidence periods, risk reviews, and auditor access.
The evidence calendar builds itself
Marta’s controls have frequencies, so the year’s evidence calendar appears from the register. She adds two new controls by describing them.
Owners upload evidence as work happens
Restore logs, training rosters, and calibration certificates attach to the control and period they prove. The register recalculates what is missing.
Attestations chase signatures
A quarterly campaign asks owners to sign the current policy version. The dashboard shows who has not signed yet.
Risk history stays visible
A supplier change raises a likelihood score. The review stores the reasoning and keeps the previous score.
The auditor gets read-only access
During audit week, the auditor signs in to a read-only account scoped to controls and evidence. HR files and unrelated records stay outside that role.
Findings close with evidence
Two minor findings get owners and due dates. Closure requires corrective evidence, and next year starts from a cleaner register.

How it comes together
Evidence has access rules. The file store is private by default. An auditor account can open the evidence locker and nothing beyond it.
Campaigns run on the calendar. Attestation rounds, evidence reminders, and risk-review nudges can be scheduled jobs. The system sends the prompts; you read the exceptions.
The policy binder can be searchable. Upload the quality manual and procedures into a semantically indexed knowledge base, and an agent can answer from your own documents while saving exchanges on record.
