Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your task workflow — fixed dates, cascading deadlines, blockers, volunteers, recurring checklists, and agent questions — and it builds the app.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a fixed task board with one workflow — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, task rules, screens, notifications, agent, and access controls. What you get is a real web app that’s yours, on your own domain, and you can change it later by asking.
On this page, that app is a task and to-do system. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; workflow tools are one example.
Generic task tools choose a workflow for you: list, board, subtasks, or another fixed shape. Some work needs different logic. A theater production runs backward from opening night, with tasks that block other tasks and volunteers who should see only their own work.
Kliv builds the workflow into the app. Productions, anchor dates, task trees, blockers, recurring checklists, and user visibility become records and rules.
This is more than a to-do list. The app keeps the facts that make the work move.
Each show has dates that do not move, such as opening, tech week, and printer cutoff. Task dates can be computed from those anchors.
A task carries owner, due date, and what cannot start until it is done. Blocked status is computed from the rows.
A set-build volunteer sees the set-build tasks. The stage manager can see the full board.
Meeting agendas, cleaning rotations, and rehearsal checklists can regenerate on schedule.
Ask what is overdue, what blocks tech week, or what a team finished. The agent reads the same rows the board shows, scoped to the asker.
Here’s how one organization might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own projects, deadlines, roles, blockers, and recurring tasks.
Becca creates the autumn show. Its task tree is copied from the spring show and re-anchored to the new dates, so 200 tasks are scheduled quickly.
Volunteers sign in with an email link and see their assigned tasks. The stage manager sees everything.
Flat painting goes overdue, and the tasks blocked by it turn amber. A Slack digest names the risk before the next meeting.
Each rehearsal day generates its list: presets, fixes from last night’s notes, and reset assignments.
After strike, the company can query what took longer than planned and improve next season’s task tree.
Kliv builds from your description, so include projects, fixed dates, task dependencies, visibility, recurring work, notifications, and agent questions.
Deadlines count back from opening night.
“Build a production task manager where each show has opening night, tech week, and printer cutoff dates; every deadline counts back from those anchors; volunteers see only their assigned tasks; blockers show what is at risk; and a daily digest posts to Slack.”
Rooms, photos, contractors, and weekly progress.
“Build a renovation to-do app for our house with rooms as projects, contractor-visible tasks, photo uploads on completed tasks, owner approval before closing a task, and a weekly progress email every Friday.”
One task tree per wedding and a 30-day view.
“Build a task app for my wedding-planning studio with one task tree per wedding derived from a master checklist, deadlines counted back from the wedding date, vendor-visible tasks, and a countdown view of the next 30 days across all weddings.”
The agent has the same clearance as the asker. A volunteer asking “what is left on my list?” and a director asking “are we ready for dress?” query the same board through the same access rules.
The structure can grow. If the company adds costume rental, you describe garments, borrowers, and return dates, and the app can add those records.
Snapshots give you save points. Before reworking the task structure, capture the app, try the new shape, and roll back if needed.

Yes. Ask for new task types, views, roles, notifications, or recurring lists, and Kliv updates the app.
You can offer email and password, Google sign-in, or passkeys. Their first view can be only their own tasks.
Exactly what the signed-in person may see. The agent inherits the same row-level access rules as the app.
Yes. Due dates can be computed from anchor dates. If an anchor changes, derived tasks can move with it.
Yes. A task can record what it blocks, and the board can show what is at risk when it slips.
Yes. Meeting agendas, rotations, daily checklists, or weekly reminders can be scheduled.
It stays as rows in your database, so you can ask which tasks ran late across seasons.
Yes. The task app can run on your own domain.
Yes. The app’s source syncs to your own Git repository, and the data is yours to export.

Describe the dates that do not move, who does the work, what blocks what, and what the agent should answer. Kliv builds the task app around that workflow.
