Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe a habit tracking app with your own cadence rules, streak formula, weekly review, private member data, paid cohorts, and payments on your own Stripe account.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a generic habit tracker template you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that creates custom software for you.
You describe what you need in plain words, and Kliv builds the real app: the data, the logic, the screens, and the workflows. You own the result, you can change it later by asking, and you run it on your own accounts, including your own Stripe account for paid cohorts. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a habit tracking app with your check-in rules, streak formula, weekly reviews, cohorts, privacy rules, and payments. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this page focuses on one useful shape.
Many habit apps force one philosophy: strict streaks, fixed cadences, and rewards you did not ask for. A coaching method may need different rules, such as planned rest days, private notes, editable check-ins, and weekly reviews.
Kliv builds the tracker around your method. Habits use your cadence rules, streaks use your formula, and the weekly reviewer reads only the member’s own records.
The records behind the method.
Each habit stores its cadence, start date, and the member’s own reason for doing it.
Check-ins are timestamped and can include notes. If your rules allow yesterday to be edited until midnight, the app stores that rule.
A declared rest day can preserve a streak, while an undeclared miss can break it. The same formula runs everywhere.
The agent reads one member’s check-ins, asks about gaps, drafts the next week’s plan, and stores the review on that member’s record.
The cohort can share aggregate completion rates while each member’s raw check-ins and notes stay private.
Here’s how one coach might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own habit rules, review style, privacy rules, cohort structure, and price.
On Sunday, the reviewer walks one member through four of five writing blocks and one declared rest day, then drafts next week’s plan for her to edit.
Tuesday is silent. On Wednesday morning, the tracker sends the nudge Sanne described, based on that member’s own rules.
The member declares rest before it happens. The record shows planned rest, not a miss, and the streak formula preserves it.
A quarterly payment fails. Retries and a recovery email run, and the member fixes the card without Sanne chasing payment.
When a habit finishes its final week, it changes state to maintenance. The dashboard marks the change once and keeps the record.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include habit rules, edit windows, privacy, review style, cohort reporting, and payments. Here are three to build on:
Writing blocks, rest days, and reviews.
“Build a habit tracker for my writers’ accountability group. Charge $47 per quarter, track daily writing-block check-ins, let members declare rest days in advance, allow edits until midnight the next day, and save a Sunday review beside each member’s log.”
Shared work habits and private personal habits.
“Build a habit tracker for our 18-person design team. Track shared work-hours habits, keep personal habit notes private to each employee, email a Monday summary of team completion rates, and flag members who have not checked in for five business days.”
A personal tracker with custom streak logic.
“Build a private habit tracker where I define daily, weekday, and three-times-a-week habits, decide what breaks each streak, declare rest days ahead of time, and store a weekly reflection with a list of changes for next week.”
The reviewer reads one member’s rows. The same privacy rules that control pages also control what the agent can read and write. If the member says “log yesterday’s session, 40 minutes,” the app can file a check-in through a permission you granted.
Cohort sharing can be aggregate only. Members can see completion rates without seeing each other’s private notes or raw days.
A paid method can be enforced by the app. A $47 quarterly cohort can run through your Stripe account. Joining, lapsing, and rejoining are states the app handles.
A quarter of check-ins can become useful when the app reviews it. The AI-apps page covers this pattern more generally.
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the habit tracking app you need, Kliv builds it, and you own the result.
A real app. Kliv builds the database, the logic, and the screens for your specific case — not a theme or preset workflow you fill in.
Yes. You ask for changes in plain words, and Kliv updates the app without making you start over.
No. Payments run through your own Stripe account. Card fees are between you and Stripe.
Whatever your method says. You can define planned rest, edit windows, missed days, and different rules for different habits.
Yes, if your rules allow it. A 24-hour edit window can be part of the app, and late edits can keep timestamps.
You decide. A common setup is aggregate completion rates and flags for the coach, while private notes stay visible only to the member.
Only the notes the member and your rules allow it to read. Agent access follows the same row permissions as the rest of the app.
Kliv can retry the charge and send a recovery email. If the grace period ends, membership access changes on the schedule you set.
Yes. You can share aggregates such as completion rates while raw check-ins and notes stay private.
Yes. Your source code syncs to your own Git repository, and your records remain yours.
