Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the Google Sheets integration problem — real tables, validated forms, roles, availability, orders, and CSV import/export — and it builds the app.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a spreadsheet connector you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe what you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the logic, the screens, and the rules. What you get is a real, working application that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking for changes, and run it on your own domain. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is an app built from the workflow your spreadsheet has been carrying. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example, and that’s what the rest of this page covers.
A shared workbook often starts as a practical tool and turns into the system of record. Then the problems show up: overwritten cells, formulas nobody wants to touch, permissions that are too broad, and screenshots that are stale by the time customers read them.
Kliv builds the app the workbook describes. Tabs become tables. Forms validate entries. Roles limit who sees what. CSV can still move data in and out, so spreadsheets stay useful for analysis without remaining the operational system.
Astrid’s nursery workbook becomes six records and rules.
Live counts by variety and pot size update as orders commit. No tab refresh or screenshot email is needed.
Each order has a customer, lines, and status. Two reps cannot claim the same stock block by typing in different cells.
List prices, volume breaks, and customer terms become rules the form applies, such as a 5% break at 200 units.
Rep logins show their own accounts and orders. Margin data and other protected records stay behind access rules.
People get the actions they need: reps write orders, growers update counts, and nobody edits history by accident.
Tables can export to CSV on demand, and imports can be repeatable. Spreadsheets stay available for analysis.
Here’s how one operations team might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own tabs, tables, formulas, roles, imports, and exports.
Astrid’s forty tabs are sorted into data, business rules, and archive material. Data becomes tables; formulas that run the business become app logic.
Products, customers, price terms, and open orders export from Sheets and import as rows. The import can run again and reconcile instead of duplicating.
Order entry applies customer terms, refuses varieties that are out of stock, and prevents two reps from selling the same remaining stock.
Availability publishes on the nursery’s own domain and reads live counts. Customers bookmark the page instead of waiting for Monday’s stale screenshot.
The sheet and app run side by side for a cycle. When totals agree, the team can stop using the workbook as the system of record.
The workbook becomes a planning scratchpad fed by clean CSV exports, not the place where live orders are fought over.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include tables, formulas, validation rules, roles, imports, exports, and public pages. Here are three to build on:
Stock, price breaks, rep access.
“Build an order management app for our wholesale nursery. Keep live availability by variety and pot size, apply customer-specific price terms including a 5% break at 200 units, let reps create orders only for their own accounts, prevent orders beyond available stock, and import and export products, customers, and orders by CSV.”
A live version of the customer tab.
“Build a live availability page for our wholesale customers on our own domain. It should read current stock from the database, update as orders commit, show variety and pot size, and let buyers submit an order request from the page.”
Columns promoted to tables and tested rules.
“Build an app from our spreadsheet workflow. Import our CSV files for products, customers, price terms, stock, and open orders, recreate the totals and volume-discount formulas as tested logic, enforce roles for reps and growers, and keep CSV export for pivot-table analysis.”
Rules hold when two people act at once. If two reps try to sell the last pallet of lavender, the database rule gives the second one a clear no. The conflict is not discovered at loading time.
Business formulas become tested logic. Price breaks, freight minimums, and margin floors can become application logic with unit tests, so sorting a table cannot delete the rule.
Availability can be a page. The availability list can publish on the nursery’s domain, public or behind a customer login, and always read the same rows the order form writes.
The connector limit is clear. Kliv does not ship a native Google Sheets connector. Its connector shelf is Slack, GitHub, Notion, Linear, HubSpot, Trello, Discord, Mailchimp, and Calendly, with Stripe as the payment rail. CSV moves spreadsheet data both directions. Build and extend explains the connector shelf.
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the software you need, it builds the working app, and you own the result. For this page, that means an operational app with real tables, validated forms, roles, live availability, and CSV import/export.
A real app. Kliv builds the data, rules, and screens for your specific case, not a pre-made theme you fill in. You keep changing it by describing what you want different.
Yes. Ask for changes in plain words and Kliv updates the app. You can adjust fields, workflows, pages, emails, access rules, and reports without starting over.
No. Kliv ships Slack, GitHub, Notion, Linear, HubSpot, Trello, Discord, Mailchimp, and Calendly integrations, plus Stripe for payments. Spreadsheet data moves by repeatable CSV imports and on-demand CSV exports.
No. You stop using the sheet as the system of record and keep spreadsheets for analysis. Any table can export to CSV when you need pivot tables or planning workbooks.
Formulas that encode business rules, such as price breaks and margin floors, become application logic with tests. Exploratory planning math can stay in spreadsheets.
Yes. Imports can be repeatable, so you can run the app beside the sheet for a cycle, reconcile totals, and switch when the numbers agree.
Yes. Stock rules live in the database, so the second order against unavailable stock gets a clear refusal.
Yes. Rep access can be scoped to their own customers and orders.
Yes. You can publish an availability page that reads current stock and updates as orders commit.
Yes. The app and availability page can run on your own domain.
Yes. The app’s source code syncs to your own Git repository, and your data can export.
No. Forms, tables, roles, imports, exports, and public pages live in the same app.
