Retail
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your retail rules, and it builds a shop system with inventory, waitlists, shipping windows, care emails, and checkout on your own Stripe account.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a hosted shop theme — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the store you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the product data, checkout, stock rules, customer screens, and admin views. What you get is a real application that’s yours. You can run it on your own domain, connect it to your own Stripe account, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template with your colors swapped in.
On this page, that app is a small retail shop system. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; a custom store is one of them.
Some shops do not sell identical boxes from a shelf. A plant shop may track cuttings that are rooting, potted, ready, sold, or still weeks away. A listing should appear only when the stock is actually ready.
Shipping can have rules too. If live plants only leave on Mondays, checkout should say that clearly and refuse any promise the shop cannot keep. Kliv builds the store around those rules, so inventory, waitlists, checkout, shipping, and follow-up emails all read the same records.
These records keep the shop from selling what it cannot ship.
Every plant can have a state, such as cut, rooting, potted, ready, or sold, with lineage back to its mother plant. The storefront lists only what is marked ready.
Sold out becomes a queue. When a cutting reaches ready, the first person on the waitlist can get an email and a 24-hour head start.
If Monday is the only shipping day, checkout offers Monday dispatch and says so before payment. A cold-weather rule can add a heat pack.
Each species can have a care page with light, water, and common mistakes. Care pages can be public and attached to order confirmations.
The shop keeps who bought what, which care emails went out, and who asked for a specific plant before.
Here’s how one shop might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own products, stock states, and shipping rules.
Pernille cuts two nodes from a monstera and logs a new row from the bench. The state is “rooting,” and the mother plant is noted.
The cutting moves from “rooting” to “potted” to “ready.” The storefront listing appears when the record is ready.
Nine people are waiting. The first gets a 24-hour head start, the plant sells for $56, and the other eight get an update that the next cutting is rooting.
A Thursday order waits for Monday dispatch because that is what checkout promised. The pack list gathers the week’s orders and flags the February heat pack.
Ten days later, the customer gets a check-in with the care page again. Replies stay inside the shop’s support thread.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include stock rules, checkout rules, waitlists, shipping, and follow-up. Here are three to build on:
One-of-a-kind stock and local delivery.
“Build a shop system for one-of-a-kind vintage furniture where every piece has photos, dimensions, condition notes, price, and exact warehouse location. Sold pieces should stay as archive pages, and local delivery should be booked at checkout with a $75 city delivery option.”
Fresh batches, bundles, and reorder alerts.
“Build a spice shop system that tracks grind dates per batch, shows freshness on every product page, bundles three named blends with recipe cards, and emails me when any bestseller drops below 12 jars in stock.”
Exact copies and want-lists.
“Build a used bookshop system where each copy is its own record with condition, edition, price, and shelf location. Let readers join want-lists by author or title, and reserve the exact copy at checkout when it arrives.”
Before opening, Pernille can run the store with test payments: a waitlist email, a checkout, a cold Monday with heat packs, and a refund for a plant that arrived in bad shape. Nothing touches real money until the Stripe account is connected.
The storefront can run on her domain, with checkout in her name. Refunds stay decisions. A customer sends a sad-plant photo, Pernille approves a refund or sends a credit, and the record shows what happened.
Promotion codes, launch weeks, and tax reports are covered in how shops sell direct on Kliv; this page stays with the plant shop.
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the shop system you need, it builds the working app, and you own the result.
A real app. Kliv builds the storefront, inventory records, checkout rules, waitlists, and admin screens for your shop.
Yes. Ask for a new shipping rule, stock state, waitlist policy, product field, or follow-up email.
Yes. The shipping rule is stored beside the orders it governs. Checkout offers only the dispatch days you allow.
The database decrements stock at purchase. The second buyer sees the waitlist or sold-out state, not an oversold order.
Not always. Rare plants can have their own photos, while everyday starters can share a species page.
No. The same pattern fits shops with specific stock, waitlists, shipping rules, or follow-up care.
No. Payments run through your own Stripe account. Stripe’s processing fees are between you and Stripe.
No. Customers just pay by card. The Stripe account is yours.
Yes. The shop can run on your own domain.
Yes. Public pages can be prerendered so search engines and AI assistants can read them, and the sitemap can be generated automatically.
No. The shop is its own admin for products, care pages, waitlists, and text.
