Religious & Spiritual Management
Build religious and spiritual community software
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the community software you need — members, retreats, talk libraries, giving, access rules, and rotas — and it builds it on your own domain.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a congregation product you configure — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the member areas, the registration rules, the payments, the file access, and the screens. What you get is a real web app that’s yours, on your own domain. You can use it, change it later by asking for changes, and run it on your own accounts, including your own Stripe account when you collect gifts or registration payments. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is religious and spiritual community software. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build around your community’s actual rules?
A meditation center, parish, mosque, or temple may share the same basic needs: members, events, giving, volunteers, and documents. But the rules are different. A retreat may have 24 beds. A long retreat may require a completed weekend first. Some talks may be public, some members-only, and some only for people who attended.
Kliv builds the system around those rules. A member’s history can decide whether they may register. Capacity is enforced at checkout. Talk access lives on the recording. Giving, receipts, and member history stay in the same app.
What the center keeps
Five records, and the rule each one carries.
Members and their path
A member record holds courses, weekends, retreats, and other milestones. Registration rules can read that history before opening a seat.
The retreat calendar
A retreat with 24 places enforces 24 places. The 25th registration starts the waitlist instead of creating an overbooking.
The talk library
Audio files live in the file store, each with its own access rule: public, members-only, or restricted to the retreat roster.
Dana and pledges
One-time gifts and monthly pledges run through the center’s own Stripe account. Receipts use your templates, and each member can see their own giving history.
The kitchen rota
Volunteers claim retreat shifts, gaps are visible weeks out, and reminders go to the right people without a phone tree.
An example: Amina’s meditation center
Here’s how one community might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own events, access rules, giving, member records, and volunteer work.
Retreat registration respects real capacity
Amina opens the autumn retreat at $340 with 24 places. It fills in nine days. Registration 25 starts the ordered waitlist automatically.
A withdrawal offers the next place
Someone withdraws. The treasurer approves the refund before money moves, and the first person on the waitlist gets the offer email within the hour.
Talks go to the right listeners
Each Sunday talk uploads in the evening and reaches members in Monday’s digest. Retreat talks stay behind the retreat gate for the people who sat that retreat.
A newcomer gets access from her record
A new member joins mid-season, starts a monthly pledge, and the member library opens immediately because access reads from her member and giving records.
The next retreat checks prerequisites
Attendance lands on each member’s record, the kitchen rota archives, and January’s long retreat opens with the prerequisite rule already checking who may register.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include your community structure, registration rules, payment rules, library access, and volunteer work. Here are three to build on:
Meditation center system
Retreats, talks, giving, and rotas.
“Build a system for our meditation center. Cap retreat registration at 24 places with an ordered waitlist. Require a completed weekend retreat before the long retreat. Host a members-only talk library, restrict retreat talks to attendees, collect one-time gifts and monthly pledges through our Stripe account, and manage a six-person kitchen rota for each retreat.”
Parish community hub
Households, ministries, calendar, and giving.
“Build a parish site with member households, ministry groups with their own pages, event signups, recurring giving through our Stripe account, and yearly giving statements each household can download.”
Mosque education portal
Classes, rosters, announcements, and donations.
“Build a portal for our mosque with class enrollment for children and adults, teacher rosters, family records, weekly announcements, and donation collection for the building fund with receipts from our own domain.”
How it comes together
The library’s rules live on the files. Every talk carries its own access rule: public, members-only, or a specific retreat roster. The rule travels with the recording.
Giving runs on your own Stripe account. Pledges recur, receipts go out on your template, and a card failure can trigger retries and a quiet email to the giver.
Questions can answer from your documents. An agent grounded in the center’s handbook and schedules can answer practical questions, such as what to bring to a retreat or how the rota works, and say when the handbook is silent. Conversations are kept as transcripts.
A parish keeps sacraments and seasons; a mosque keeps classes and iftars; a temple keeps festivals. The nouns change and the system should follow them. Underneath, this is membership machinery, and the full tour of it is at the membership solutions page.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For a spiritual community, that can mean member records, retreat registration, giving, talk libraries, volunteer rotas, and access rules.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the database, workflows, pages, member areas, and admin screens around your community’s rules.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can add events, change access rules, revise registration requirements, adjust giving options, or add another location later.
Does Kliv take a share of donations?
No. Kliv does not price by your donors or donation volume. Payments run through your own Stripe account, and card processing is between you and Stripe.
Do donors need their own Stripe accounts?
No. Donors pay by card. Stripe is how the money reaches your account.
Can some talks be public and some private?
Yes. Each recording can have its own rule: public, members-only, or restricted to a retreat roster. Public talks can render as pages search engines can read.
Can we take both one-time gifts and monthly pledges?
Yes. Both can live in the same catalog and checkout, and both can appear in the member’s giving history.
Can members change a monthly pledge themselves?
Yes. You can give members a page where they start, pause, or change a pledge without emailing the office.
Can retreat capacity be enforced?
Yes. Capacity can be a rule at registration or checkout. Once 24 seats are gone, the next person joins the waitlist.
Can prerequisites be checked automatically?
Yes. A registration rule can read the member’s retreat history and allow or block registration based on the requirement you describe.
What about our second location?
Locations can share one system with scoped calendars, rotas, and announcements. Coordinators can manage their own location without touching the other’s.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The community app can run on your own domain.
Do I need a separate CMS?
No. The app is its own admin for member records, events, talks, public pages, and documents.
