Build an AI-powered operations assistant
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your SOPs, recipes, logs, checklists, tickets, and allowed actions, and it builds the operations assistant for your team.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a generic chatbot or a checklist app — it’s an AI app builder that creates software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the records, screens, assistant, permissions, and scheduled jobs. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can run it on your own domain, connect your own accounts, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is an AI-powered operations assistant for a multi-location café group. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build your own operations assistant?
Rocío runs three cafés, and too many early-morning questions still go to her phone. The answers exist in SOPs, recipe cards, laminated sheets, and last week’s notes, but they are not where the opener needs them.
Kliv builds one operations app underneath the assistant. Procedures, recipes, 86 boards, temperature logs, checklists, tickets, and shift records live in the same system. Staff get answers at work, and the office gets a record of what was asked and done.
What the assistant may know
The assistant is the front end. The records underneath decide what it can answer and do.
The procedure library
SOPs and recipe cards are uploaded once and kept current. The assistant answers from this library, not from open-ended guesses.
The 86 board
An unavailable item is written once, and the menu page, prep sheet, and assistant all read the same status.
The temp logs
Walk-in and hot-hold readings are rows with time and signature. Out-of-range entries can flag the day sheet.
The checklists
Opening and closing checks record initials and time. Missed steps are visible that day.
The tickets
Equipment problems are filed as records with photos, history, location, and vendor communication.
An example: Rocío’s three cafés
Here’s how one café group might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own SOPs, logs, boards, tickets, roles, and allowed actions.
The opener follows a recorded checklist
Elm Road opens with one lead and no manager on site. Checks are ticked off with initials, and a walk-in reading two degrees high flags the day sheet.
An allergen answer comes from the current recipe
A customer asks about the new brioche. The lead asks the assistant, which answers from the recipe card uploaded this week.
An 86 update changes every surface
The last tres leches sells at 11:40. The lead marks it unavailable once, and the board, menu page, and later assistant answers all change.
A fryer problem becomes a ticket
The assistant records a photo and sentence, files the ticket against the fryer, and sends the vendor email in the café group’s wording.
The manager sees what needs writing
Rocío reads the shift record later. The unanswered questions show exactly which SOPs need to be added or clarified.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so include the records, documents, locations, actions, permissions, and escalation rules. Here are three examples:
Multi-café operations assistant
SOPs, logs, boards, and tickets.
“Build an operations assistant for our three cafés. It should answer only from our SOPs and recipes, keep temp logs and opening checklists per location, let shift leads update the 86 board, file equipment tickets with photos, and route unanswered questions to a manager.”
Ghost kitchen operations desk
Prep sheets and 86 boards for brands.
“Build an operations assistant for our ghost kitchen. Each of five delivery brands has its own prep sheet and 86 board, staff can ask one assistant about any brand, and managers can see out-of-stock items across all brands.”
Catering operations assistant
Run sheets, packing lists, and van checks.
“Build an operations assistant for our catering company. It should answer from event run sheets and packing lists, log van checks before each departure, flag missing equipment, and file supplier issues on the event record.”
What it can do
The assistant has granted powers. It can look up, flag, 86, and file a ticket because you allowed those actions. Anything outside its allowed list gets routed to a manager.
Locations have different views. The Elm Road lead sees Elm Road’s logs and boards. The group desk sees all three cafés. Those limits live on the records.
The day sheet can be automatic. A scheduled job can compile yesterday’s out-of-range temps, open tickets, and current 86 board before the first tray.
The next internal tool is usually close behind: invoice tracking, catering calendars, rosters. Internal tools built with Kliv shows the pattern.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder that creates custom web apps from a description. For operations, it can build records, checklists, logs, tickets, permissions, scheduled jobs, and an assistant grounded in your SOPs.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the database, assistant, screens, and workflows for your operation.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can add SOPs, new log types, actions, locations, roles, or reports later.
Will it improvise food-safety answers?
No. It answers from your procedures and names the source. If no procedure covers the question, it routes the thread to a manager.
What can it do besides answer?
Only what you grant. In the source example, it can update the 86 board, file equipment tickets, look up suppliers or logs, and record each action.
Do conversations go anywhere useful?
Yes. They can stay in your database, attached to the shift and location, so unanswered questions show what your manual is missing.
Can different locations have different access?
Yes. A location lead can see that location, while the group office can see all locations.
Can the app create daily summaries?
Yes. Scheduled jobs can assemble day sheets, open-ticket lists, and out-of-range log summaries.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The app can run on your own domain or internal address.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, and your operational records are exportable.
