Build an AI-powered interview assistant
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your interview coaching method, and it builds a practice app with your question bank, follow-ups, rubric, saved drills, memberships, and mock bundles.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a generic interview-prep site with a public question bank — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the question bank, client records, practice flow, scoring, payments, and portals. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can run it on your own accounts, including your own Stripe account for memberships and bundles, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is an interview practice assistant for coaching clients. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Why build your own interview assistant?
An interview coach’s value often lives in their question bank, follow-ups, scoring rubric, and debrief experience. Generic prep sites drill everyone from the same public material and do not save practice in the coach’s workflow.
Kliv can build the practice room around your material. The bank becomes data, the rubric becomes part of the app, and every drill lands on the client record for review.
The drill bank
The app turns the coach’s method into records and rules.
The question bank
Each question stores role family, seniority, and the follow-up you ask when the first answer is too smooth.
The rubric
Strong-answer criteria are stored by competency. The assistant can score against them, and the coach can overrule scores.
The client record
Target role, interview loop, timeline, notes, and every drill transcript live on the client record.
The drill
Each practice session stores questions asked, answers given, stalls, timing, scores, and transcript.
Memberships and mock bundles
A $45 monthly practice tier can open the assistant, while a four-mock bundle counts down as sessions are booked.
An example: Ingrid’s interview coaching practice
Here’s how one coaching business might use an interview assistant built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own roles, question bank, rubric, memberships, and bundles.
A client’s onsite sets the track
Mara arrives with an onsite eighteen days out: two system-design rounds and one behavioral round. Ingrid assigns the right track and starts with failure-mode questions.
The first drill uses Ingrid’s follow-ups
That evening, the assistant asks a question and pushes with Ingrid’s own follow-up because the question bank is its source.
A transcript reveals the stall
A later drill shows a forty-second freeze on a rollback question. Ingrid reads it, reorders the week’s drills, and leaves a note.
The live mock starts from evidence
During a bundle session, Ingrid does not spend the hour discovering weaknesses. The saved drills already show where to focus.
The real interview feels familiar
After eighteen days of being pushed by her coach’s own follow-ups, Mara has practiced the kinds of questions that usually decide the loop.
Describe what you want to build
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include the bank, follow-ups, rubric, transcripts, membership price, and bundle terms. Here are three to build on:
Engineering interview coach
Drills with follow-ups scored against your rubric.
“Build a practice app for my engineering interview coaching clients. Charge $45 per month for practice, drill clients from my question bank with follow-up questions, score answers against my system-design and behavioral rubric, and save every transcript to the client record.”
Consulting case studio
Cases from your library with membership access.
“Build a case-interview practice studio where candidates run market-sizing and profitability cases against an assistant that only knows my case library, with a $59 monthly practice membership and saved transcripts for my review.”
Nurse panel prep
Scenario questions for clinical leadership panels.
“Build a panel-interview prep app for nurse managers where clients rehearse scenario questions from my bank, every transcript is saved for my review, and four live mock sessions sell as a prepaid bundle.”
The machinery between sessions
Drills come from your bank. The assistant asks the questions, follow-ups, and rubric you uploaded. When you retire a question, it disappears from future drills.
Confidentiality is a data rule. Clients can be rivals for the same role. Each client sees only their own record; the coach sees the roster and transcripts.
Billing separates practice from live mocks. The $45 membership renews monthly on the coach’s own Stripe account, while mock bundles are one-time purchases that count down as sessions are used. Failed renewals can retry and send recovery emails.
An assistant with a narrow source library and real work to do is the pattern the AI-apps page covers in more depth.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. For interview coaching, it can build the question bank, rubric, drill flow, client records, memberships, and bundles.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. Kliv builds the data, screens, practice flow, payment rules, and client portal around your coaching method.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. Add questions, retire follow-ups, change scoring, adjust memberships, or add a new role track by asking for changes.
Will the assistant ask things I’d never ask?
No. Its supply is the bank you upload. If a question is not yours, it should not appear in a drill.
Can two clients interviewing at the same company find each other?
No. Each login reads its own client record and nothing beyond it.
Do I have to review every drill?
No. Every transcript is saved, and you can choose whether to review all of them, skim digests, or focus on live mocks.
What happens when a client’s onsite is over?
The client can cancel membership from the billing page, and the record stays for the next search or interview loop.
Can I sell practice and live mocks separately?
Yes. A monthly practice membership can unlock the assistant, while a prepaid bundle can count down live mock sessions.
Does Kliv take a cut of coaching revenue?
No. Payments can run through your own Stripe account; card processing fees are between you and Stripe.
Can clients see their transcripts?
If you allow it, yes. The app can show transcript history, coach notes, scores, or only selected feedback.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app source can sync to your own Git repository, and your bank, rubric, and client records remain yours.
Can the assistant use the open internet?
The source pattern does not rely on that. It is built around the bank, rubric, and materials you provide.
