Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your career guidance app, and it builds profiles, playbook-grounded recommendations, milestones, transcripts, subscription tiers, and billing.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
What is Kliv?
Kliv isn’t a quiz builder or coaching template — it’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the member profiles, recommendation flow, knowledge base, milestones, accounts, subscription tiers, and billing. What you get is a real app that’s yours. You can run it on your own accounts, including your own Stripe account, and change it later by asking. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is a career guidance and recommendation app. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this page focuses on turning expert pathway knowledge into a product.
Why a quiz is not career guidance
A serious career guidance product needs more than a short quiz and a result label. It needs a profile with useful details, playbooks that recommendations come from, milestones that update the path, and subscription tiers that decide how much help a member gets.
Kliv builds the whole app from your description, so your expertise becomes the source of the guidance rather than a generic answer.
What a recommendation stands on
The records that make the guidance specific enough to use.
The member profile
Experience, unit, certifications, state license, goals, and constraints are stored as member records. Row-level rules keep each member’s data private.
Pathway playbooks
Your real maps — for example bedside to informatics, bedside to case management, or staff to travel contracts — are uploaded once and ground the answers.
The guide
The agent pairs the signed-in member’s profile with the playbooks. It reads that member’s rows and no one else’s.
Milestones
Members log certifications, courses, interviews, or first roles. The recommended path can update from where they are now.
The three tiers
Explorer can include the guide and library; Navigator can add plan reviews; a top tier can include a booked hour with the expert. Tier access is an entitlement.
The question pile
Every conversation stays in the app’s database, where you can see what members actually ask and decide what playbook page to write next.
An example: Ruth’s nurse career app
Here’s how one career expert might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own audience, playbooks, tiers, and advice workflow.
A member gives useful context
A nurse enters nine years in cardiac ICU, CCRN, compact license, night-shift fatigue, and a goal to move toward daytime work.
The first recommendation cites the playbooks
The guide compares her profile with Ruth’s pathway playbooks and lays out two options: informatics in 18 months or case management in 8.
The gap is specific
When she asks what blocks the informatics path, the answer names one certification and two projects she can start on her current unit.
An upgrade opens deeper help
She moves from Explorer to Navigator on her billing page. Plan review opens immediately because the tier controls the entitlement.
The expert session has context
At the top tier, she books an hour with Ruth. Ruth sees the profile, milestones, and previous questions before the call.
Outcomes improve the product
Fourteen months later, the member is in an informatics analyst role. Ruth records the outcome, and the app’s evidence base improves.
Describe the guidance app you want
Kliv builds from your description, so include the audience, profile fields, playbooks, tiers, pricing, milestones, and access rules. Here are three examples:
Nurse career pivots
Profiles, playbooks, and three tiers.
“Build an AI-powered career guidance app for nurses changing specialties. Members should fill in experience, unit, certifications, license state, schedule constraints, and goals. The agent should recommend paths from my uploaded pathway playbooks, track milestones, and offer tiers at $19 Explorer, $49 Navigator, and $199 Advisor per month.”
Trades to renewables
Electricians heading for wind and solar.
“Build a career guidance app for electricians exploring renewables. Members should fill in license, years of experience, state, current safety training, and travel limits. The agent should recommend pathways from my uploaded course maps, and the app should charge $29 a month with a 7-day free trial.”
Alumni career center
Guidance grounded in industry guides.
“Build a career guidance platform for our alumni office. Graduates should create profiles, get recommendations grounded in our uploaded industry guides, book advising slots with counselors, and track milestones such as portfolio review, applications sent, and interviews booked.”
Where the guidance gets its ground
Answers come from your playbooks. The knowledge base indexes the documents you upload, and recommendations cite the playbook they came from.
Depth is billed and gated. Subscription tiers are products on your own Stripe account. An upgrade opens the features it includes, and a lapse closes them on the schedule you choose.
The product improves from its own transcripts. When members repeatedly ask about a missing topic, you know which playbook page to write next.
An expert’s corpus, an agent in front of it, and subscriptions gating the depth — that shape carries far past careers. For the wider family of apps built this way, start with AI apps on Kliv.
Common questions
What exactly is Kliv?
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the career guidance app you need, and Kliv builds the profiles, playbooks, agent, milestones, subscription tiers, and billing.
Do I get a real app, or a template?
A real app. It is built around your audience, pathway playbooks, tiers, and guidance workflow.
Can I change it after it’s built?
Yes. You can change profile fields, add playbooks, adjust tiers, add milestones, or revise the recommendation flow by asking.
What keeps recommendations from being generic?
The agent is grounded in the playbooks you upload, and recommendations cite the source map. Members get your sequence, not a generic career article.
Can members see each other’s profiles or questions?
No. Profiles, milestones, and conversations are protected by row-level rules in the database.
Does a failed card cut someone off immediately?
Not unless you choose that. Failed payments can retry and send recovery emails before the tier’s features close after the grace period you set.
Can I reshape the tiers once I learn what sells?
Yes. You can add a cohort tier, retire a tier, or change what Navigator includes. Entitlements update with the product definition.
Does Kliv take a cut of subscriptions?
No. Payments run on your own Stripe account, and card fees are between you and Stripe.
Can members book sessions with me?
Yes. The source example includes a top tier with a booked expert session, with the member profile and prior questions visible before the call.
Can I move off Kliv later?
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The app can run on your own domain as a product under your brand.
