    What is Kliv?

Kliv isn’t a reporting dashboard product you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.

You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the data, the logic, the screens, and the workflow. What you get is a real working app that’s yours. You own it, run it on your own accounts, and take payments through your own Stripe account. It isn’t a template with your name on it.

On this page, that app is a custom ad performance portal for your agency. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one example.

Why the client deck should not be the database

Paid-media teams often spend month-end rebuilding reports from exports. The client wants cost per booked job, not cost per click, and the answer goes stale as soon as a slide deck is sent.

Kliv builds the ledger first. Spend, leads, booked jobs, pacing alerts, client report pages, and billing all read the same rows, so the report is live and the invoice can match the chart.

    Where the spend lives

The reporting portal runs on a few core records.

    The spend ledger

Each day’s spend per channel and client lands in one table, whether it arrives by nightly export, CSV upload, or manual entry.

    The lead

A form fill or tracked call carries its source and can later join to the job it became. That join makes cost per booked job possible.

    The report page

Each client gets a live report page. The 9th and the 29th show the truth for those dates, not a stale PDF.

    The pacing alarm

A scheduled check compares month-to-date spend against plan. If 80% of budget is gone by the 18th, the buyer gets alerted.

    The account wall

A client sign-in returns only that client’s spend, leads, jobs, and report pages. A forwarded link does not expose another account.

What the studio stops doing by hand

    Month-end without the scramble

Numbers were live all month. Closing out becomes writing a short summary, not rebuilding a deck from six exports.

    Drift caught early

Scheduled checks watch spend against plan and cost per lead against recent history. Anomalies email the buyer while they are still cheap to fix.

    Billing that reads the ledger

A $750 retainer plus a managed-spend fee can be metered from the same ledger the report uses. The bill and chart do not disagree.

    Monday digests in your voice

Weekly summaries per client — spend, leads, best channel — can send on your templates from live rows.

    Imports that defend the data

Typed import functions map and validate files. Rows that do not reconcile wait for review instead of appearing in charts.

    An example: Jonas’s paid-media studio

Here’s how one agency might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own channels, budgets, client walls, metrics, and fees.

    01

Each client gets a live ledger

Jonas runs a two-person studio for eleven home-services clients. Daily spend, leads, and booked jobs land in one ledger per client.

    02

    Reports show business outcomes

The plumber sees cost per booked job by channel instead of cost per click. The roofer can compare July against June without waiting for a deck.

    03

Pacing alerts arrive before the client asks

If a campaign has spent 80% of budget by the 18th, the buyer gets an email while there is still time to adjust.

    04

    Billing reads the same rows

The agency charges a $750 retainer plus 8% of managed spend. The spend meter feeds the invoice, so the fee and report share one source.

    05

    Month-end becomes commentary

Because the page was live all month, the closeout is a short written summary pinned to numbers that were already current.

    Describe your reporting portal

Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include channels, budgets, client access, calculations, alerts, and billing. Here are three to build on:

    kliv.dev

    Local services reporting

Cost per booked job by client and channel.

“Build an ad reporting portal for my agency’s home-services clients. Import daily Google Ads and Meta spend, record form fills and tracked calls, join leads to booked jobs from our CRM upload, show cost per booked job by channel, alert buyers when 80% of budget is spent before the 22nd, and wall each client to their own report.”

    kliv.dev

    E-commerce channel mix

    Revenue against spend by week.

“Build an ad performance tracker for my online store. Record daily spend for Google, Meta, TikTok, and email sponsorships, join orders to their source, show revenue, gross margin, and ROAS by channel week by week, and flag any channel down more than 20% from the trailing four-week average.”

    kliv.dev

    White-label client portal

Your agency brand on every report.

“Build a white-label reporting portal under my agency’s domain. Each client signs in to a live report page, gets a Monday digest with spend, leads, booked jobs, and pacing, sees only their own campaigns, and receives monthly billing for a $750 retainer plus 8% of managed spend.”

Numbers with a chain of custody

Every metric can show its work. Cost per booked job is a join: spend row, lead row, and job row. When a client asks why July beat June, the answer is in rows you can point at.

The fee can be metered. Kliv’s commerce tools can price a managed-spend fee from the ledger, then invoice the retainer and fee together through your own Stripe account.

The portal can hold creative too. Ad variants can live in the file store per client, with approval state. A client can approve next week’s ad from the same place they read last week’s results.

Kliv apps also carry their own analytics: visits, conversions, and custom events you define. The analytics page shows that instrument panel.

    Common questions

    What exactly is Kliv?

Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe your ad performance reporting portal, and Kliv builds the real app with ledgers, imports, dashboards, alerts, roles, and billing.

Do I get a real app, or a template?

A real app. Your channels, metrics, budget rules, client walls, imports, and fee structure shape the portal.

Can I change it after it’s built?

Yes. You can add a channel, change the pacing rule, add a metric, change a fee, or update the client report later.

How does the spend data get in?

Through the paths your platforms allow: scheduled imports, CSV uploads, or manual entry. Each path can validate rows before charting them.

Can clients see each other’s numbers?

No. Spend, leads, jobs, and reports belong to one client account, and access is enforced on the rows in the database.

Can I bill a percentage of managed spend?

Yes. The spend ledger can feed a managed-spend meter, and the invoice can price what the meter counted.

    What replaces the monthly deck?

A live report page per client, plus a short written summary you pin at month-end. Clients can visit midmonth and see current numbers.

    Can I send Monday digests?

Yes. A scheduled job can email each client’s spend, leads, booked jobs, and best channel on your template.

Does Kliv take a cut of client billing?

No. Payments run on your own Stripe account. Card processing costs are between you and Stripe.

Do my clients need Stripe accounts?

No. Clients just pay by card. Stripe is how money reaches your account.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. The portal can run under your agency’s own domain.

Can I move off Kliv later?

Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
