Travel & Tourism
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your travel and tourism booking site, with recurring departures, real seat limits, vouchers, guides, guest emails, and direct booking on your own domain.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a tour marketplace you sign up for and configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the site or app you need in your own words, and Kliv builds it: the data, the rules, the pages, and the screens. What you get is a real application that’s yours, on your own domain. You can use it and keep changing it later by asking for changes. It isn’t a theme you fill in.
On this page, that app is a direct booking site for travel and tourism. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one of them, and that’s what the rest of this page covers.
Tour marketplaces can bring demand, but they keep the guest relationship, set many of the policies, and take commission on every booking. A tour operator may need rules that are specific to its routes: ten seats because the table seats ten, a day trip that runs only with six guests, or gift vouchers sold in December and redeemed in June.
Kliv builds a direct booking site around those rules. Tours, departures, seats, vouchers, guides, and guests are records in your own app, so capacity is enforced and the guest relationship stays with you.
The records behind a season of tours.
A tour is the route, duration, price, and what is included. A departure is the dated instance with its own seats and guide.
Capacity lives on the departure. A booking that would exceed ten seats is rejected. A day trip can flag itself if fewer than six guests have booked by the date you set.
Dietary needs are collected at booking and shown on the guide’s list, so the operator knows about the gluten-free guest before the first stop.
Vouchers can be sold as one-time purchases and redeemed as codes at checkout. Balance and expiry stay on the voucher record.
Each departure has a guide. Freelancers can see their own roster and guest list, and month-end pay totals come from the departures they led.
The work between bookings is where tours stay organized.
Meeting point, dress note, and allergy reminder can send on your template 48 hours before each departure.
If rain cancels a walk, one action can email every booked guest with a rebooking link and credit option. Cash refunds can wait for approval.
The assistant answers from the route notes and FAQ you wrote. It can answer about a booking only for the guest who owns it.
The morning-after email invites a review. Submissions wait in a moderation queue until you approve them.
Every tour page is prerendered for search engines and AI assistants, with sitemap and per-page SEO checks, on your own domain.
Here’s how one operator might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own routes, prices, capacity, vouchers, guides, emails, and policies.
Ambra lists Alfama at dusk, market mornings, and a Setúbal day trip. Each departure has its price, date, guide, and ten available seats.
The eleventh booking is refused because the departure has ten seats. The Setúbal trip flags itself if fewer than six people have booked by Wednesday.
A guest who received a Christmas voucher uses the code for a June tour. The voucher balance and expiry update on the voucher record.
A freelancer signs in and sees assigned departures, guest names, and dietary notes. Revenue and other guides’ rosters are not available to that account.
Forty-eight hours before departure, the meeting-point email goes out with the address, dress note, and allergy reminder.
The next morning, guests receive a review invitation. Ambra approves real reviews before they appear on the site.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include routes, prices, schedules, seat limits, vouchers, guides, emails, and cancellation rules. Here are three to build on:
Routes, prices, schedules, and capacity.
“Build a travel and tourism booking site for my Lisbon food tour company with three recurring tours: Alfama at dusk for €85, a market morning tour for €65, and a Setúbal day trip for €140. Each departure should have its own schedule, guide, and ten-seat limit.”
One-time purchase vouchers redeemed at checkout.
“Add Christmas gift vouchers sold as one-time purchases for €85, €140, or a custom amount. Guests should redeem them as codes at checkout, with balance, expiry date, and redemption history tracked per voucher.”
Flags and emails when too few guests book.
“Flag any Setúbal day-trip departure with fewer than six bookings three days before it runs, and email me every Wednesday morning with a go or no-go list and the guest count for each departure.”
A seat on a departure is a one-time purchase, such as €85 for Alfama at dusk or €800 for a private group. Checkout can run on your own Stripe account. Price windows can handle January discounts, and vouchers live in the same catalog, so a redeemed code and a paid card land in the same order history.
Freelance guides sign in like anyone else, but access rules shape what they can see: their departures, guest lists with dietary notes, and pay sheets, not revenue or other rosters.
Ambra is a neighborhood business that sells time with a guide. How Kliv fits local operators is covered on the local businesses page.
Kliv is an AI app builder that builds custom web apps from a description. For travel and tourism, it can build tour pages, booking calendars, capacity rules, vouchers, guide rosters, guest emails, reviews, and checkout.
A real app. Kliv builds the data, rules, pages, checkout, and admin screens for your tours, not a generic listing page.
