Family & Parenting
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe the co-parenting app you want — custody calendars, mutual swaps, split expenses, receipts, messages, documents, and subscriptions — and Kliv builds it.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a fixed co-parenting product you configure — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds the database, rules, screens, family access, subscriptions, and records. You own the result, run it on your own domain and accounts, and keep changing it by asking for changes. It isn’t a template.
On this page, that app is a co-parenting app. Kliv builds many kinds of web apps; this is one example.
Many co-parenting workflows start as the same spreadsheet: custody calendar, expense split, receipt folder, and written requests. Spreadsheets fail because someone can edit a cell, one house can drift from the other, and messages get screenshotted out of context.
Kliv builds the shared record as an app. Each family has its own wall. Parents have equal standing inside the shared record. Calendar changes move only when both sides accept.
The family pays for the app you design, and the rules are enforced by software instead of memory.
One family’s shared record, with the rule each piece enforces.
One schedule renders in both houses. Exchanges, holidays, and every-other-weekend patterns live as records.
A schedule change is a request with a state: proposed, countered, accepted, or declined. The calendar moves only when both sides accept.
An orthodontist bill, tournament fee, or school trip expense carries a receipt photo and splits by the family’s agreed ratio.
Messages send once and stay as sent. Corrections are new messages, so the thread reads in order.
Insurance cards, school forms, and the parenting plan can be filed once and visible to both parents, with the current version on top.
Each parent can keep notes only they can read. The other login has no note records to find.
Here’s how one mediation practice might use a co-parenting app built with Kliv. It’s only an example — you would describe your own family rules, expense ratios, message rules, and subscription pricing.
A soccer tournament lands on the wrong weekend. Parent A proposes swapping this weekend for next, with dates, exchange times, and reason attached.
Parent B can’t do next weekend and offers the one after. The counter is a state change on the request, not a separate thread to reconcile.
Parent A accepts. The shared calendar updates in one write, so both houses see the same schedule.
The tournament costs $85. Parent A logs it with a receipt photo, and the ledger splits it 60/40 according to the parenting plan.
Both parents receive a statement showing expenses, splits, who owes whom, and every receipt one tap away.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include calendar rules, swap states, expense ratios, message rules, documents, and pricing. Here are three examples to build on:
Shared calendar, mutual swaps, and family subscriptions.
“Build a co-parenting app where separated parents share one custody calendar, proposed swaps require mutual acceptance before the calendar changes, each family pays $12 a month after a 30-day trial, and both parents can export the calendar history.”
Receipt photos, ratios, and monthly statements.
“Build an expense tracker for co-parents where each expense has a category, receipt photo, and child; splits by a family ratio such as 60/40; and rolls into a monthly statement showing who owes whom.”
Calendar, message record, and parenting-plan shelf.
“Build a portal for my mediation practice where each client family gets a shared custody calendar, append-only message thread, document shelf for the parenting plan and insurance cards, private notes per parent, and mediator access only while invited.”
Families are walled at the row. Every table carries the family it belongs to, and the database enforces it. One family cannot appear in another family’s app by URL, query, or accident. Within a family, shared records are shared and private notes stay scoped to their author.
Subscriptions are per family if you choose. A natural shape is one $12 subscription per family on your own Stripe account, with a trial month if you want one. Kliv doesn’t charge you per family. Failed-card retries and recovery emails can run automatically.
You can rehearse the business first. In the Sandbox, you can sign up an imaginary family, let the trial lapse, renew, and fail a card before any real family pays.
For the mechanics of turning this into a business — plans, trials, and what changes between family ten and family ten thousand — SaaS on Kliv goes deeper than one page can.
Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the co-parenting app you need, and it builds a real app with family records, calendars, swaps, expenses, messages, documents, and billing.
A real app. Kliv builds around your family structure, calendar rules, expense ratios, message rules, and subscription pricing.
Yes. You can change swap rules, expense categories, subscription terms, export formats, or mediator access later.
No. Private notes are scoped to their author’s account. The other parent does not see a locked folder; the notes do not exist for that login.
No, if you build it that way. The source design uses append-only messages: corrections arrive as new messages in order.
The natural setup is one subscription per family, payable by either parent from a self-serve billing page, running on your Stripe account.
No. Parents pay by card or the payment methods you enable. Stripe is your payment account.
No. Kliv doesn’t price by your family count. Your pricing is your product decision.
That is a question for counsel. The app can provide mechanical records: timestamps, append-only messages, exports, and a complete ordered history.
Yes. You can build exports for calendars, messages, expenses, receipts, and documents.
Yes. Mediator access can be a role you grant and revoke for a family.
Yes. The app’s code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull.
