What is Kliv?

Kliv isn’t a care platform you configure from fixed settings — it’s an AI app builder that builds software for you.

You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the screens, the access rules, the workflows, and the admin areas. You own the result, run it on your own accounts, and keep changing it later by asking for changes. It isn’t a template with your name on it.

On this page, that app is a disabilities support app for plans, notes, assignments, family views, and follow-ups. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one focused on support coordination.

Why build your own support app?

A replacement worker should not arrive without the plan, recent notes, and follow-ups that matter. In many agencies, that context sits in binders, group texts, and office memory. It is hard to search, hard to share carefully, and easy to miss on a bad morning.

Kliv builds the support workflow as one app. Participant plans, worker assignments, shift notes, incidents, family views, and agency boundaries all live on records with rules about who may read them.

What a shift leaves behind

The app keeps the shared record that the binder tried to be. These are the main pieces.

Participants and plans

Each person has goals, routines, preferences, and support details. A shift can be measured against the plan instead of a worker’s memory.

Workers and assignments

Assignments decide what a worker sees. Their app shows their participants, shifts, and notes; unassigned files are not part of the view.

Shift notes

Every visit can end with a structured note against the plan’s goals. A replacement worker can read the last month quickly before arriving.

Incidents and follow-ups

An incident can create a follow-up with a due date and owner. Open items stay on the coordinator dashboard until they are closed.

The family window

Relatives can sign in to see their own person’s calendar and the notes marked shareable. Private is the default; sharing is deliberate.

An example: Noor’s support coordination product

Here’s how one business might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own participants, agency rules, family access, and follow-up process.

01

A shift is reassigned before dawn

A regular worker calls out. Noor’s agency reassigns the shift from a phone, and the replacement’s app now shows the participant for that shift.

02

The replacement reads in before arriving

On the bus, the replacement reads the plan and recent notes: routines, active goals, and the detail that a low-battery smoke alarm chirp causes real distress.

03

The note is tied to the plan

After the visit, the worker records what happened against the goals: pool session done, lunch cooked together, kettle replaced.

04

Only selected updates go to family

The worker marks two updates shareable. The participant’s mother sees them in the family window that evening; private notes remain inside the agency.

05

A follow-up stays visible until closed

The chipped step becomes a follow-up with a due date. It closes only when maintenance confirms, and the dashboard shows the closure.

Describe the support app you want to build

Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include who uses it, what they can see, what gets recorded, and what must be followed up.

Support coordination app

Plans, scoped workers, shift notes, and family updates.

“Build a support coordination app for agencies. Manage participant plans and goals, show workers only their assigned participants, require structured notes after each shift, create incident follow-ups with due dates, and give families a login for calendar items and notes marked shareable.”

kliv.dev

Day program manager

Attendance, activities, ratios, and incidents.

“Build a day-program management app with participant attendance, activity plans per person, required staff ratios per session, incident reports, due follow-ups, and a coordinator dashboard for unclosed items.”

kliv.dev

Respite scheduler

Requests matched to workers, with family-readable notes.

“Build a respite-care scheduling tool where families request dates, coordinators match available workers, every stay ends with a structured note, and families can read the notes marked shareable for their own person.”

Built once, sold to every agency

Agencies can share the software without sharing data. Each agency can be an organization, with every query fenced to that organization’s rows before it runs.

Access follows the assignment. Worker access and family access are rules on the rows. A new page inherits those rules because the database enforces them.

Subscriptions can match the business. If you sell the app to agencies, you can charge terms like $89 a month with a trial month through your own Stripe account. If an agency lapses, access can close on the timetable you choose while its data remains intact.

Accessibility can be part of the first description. If workers use keyboards or screen readers, say so when you build. The pages can be structured and labeled for those users, then tested with the people who use them.

Turning a tool like this into a product — plans, trials, and the fiftieth agency — is covered on the SaaS solutions page.

Common questions

What exactly is Kliv?

Kliv is an AI app builder. You describe the support app you need, it builds the app, and you own the result.

Do I get a real app, or a template?

A real app. Kliv builds the database, access rules, screens, and workflows for your case. It is not a care template with fixed fields.

Can I change it after it’s built?

Yes. You can ask for new note fields, family views, follow-up rules, agency roles, or reports later.

Is participant data separated between agencies?

Yes, if you build it as a multi-agency product. Each agency can be an organization with database rules that prevent one agency from reading another agency’s rows.

Can families see everything?

No. The family window can show the calendar and notes marked shareable for their own person only. Private is the default.

Does the app give care or medical advice?

No. It stores plans, notes, assignments, and follow-ups so people can coordinate. Care decisions stay with qualified people.

Can workers see only assigned participants?

Yes. Assignment can be the rule that decides what each worker can open. Unassigned participants are absent from that worker’s view.

Can incident follow-ups have due dates?

Yes. An incident can create a follow-up with an owner and due date, and unclosed items can stay visible until someone closes them.

Can I sell this to agencies?

Yes. You can package the app as a subscription with trial terms and payments on your own Stripe account.

Do my customers need their own Stripe accounts?

No. If you sell access, agencies pay by card. Payments run through your Stripe account.

Does Kliv take a cut?

No. Payments run on your own Stripe account. Kliv does not take a percentage of each agency subscription.

Can I move off Kliv later?

Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull rather than a rebuild.
