Veterinary Practice Management
Kliv is an AI app builder. Describe your clinic’s records, appointment book, reminders, wellness plans, and owner portal, and it builds the practice system around them.
Just enter your idea into the text box and AI will build it for you
Kliv isn’t a veterinary practice-management product you sign up for and configure. It’s an AI that builds software for you.
You describe the app you need in plain words, and Kliv builds it: the database, the logic, the screens, and the workflows. What you get is a real, working application that’s yours. You can use it, change it later by asking for changes, and run it on your own domain. It isn’t a template with your name on it.
On this page, that app is a veterinary practice management system for your clinic. Kliv builds all kinds of web apps; this is one of them, and that’s what the rest of this page covers.
Many veterinary systems are built for larger hospitals and priced by vet, module, or year. A smaller clinic may need something simpler and more specific: pets grouped by household, a two-vet appointment book, vaccine reminders, wellness-plan status, and a portal owners can use.
Kliv builds the system around those records. Households, patients, visits, plans, reminders, and invoices all sit in one database, so staff and owners are reading the same facts.
A small practice runs on a few records that need to stay connected.
Pets are grouped under the household that owns them, so one login can see the spaniel and two cats, one card can pay, and history stays together.
Two columns can represent two vets, with surgery blocks and 20-minute consults. A double-booked column cannot be saved.
Each vaccine carries its interval. Due dates are computed from patient records, and reminders can send days ahead with a booking link.
A $29 monthly plan can cover routine care for the year. The status shown at check-in reads from the live subscription.
Notes, lab PDFs, and x-ray images stay on the patient record, visible to that patient’s household through the portal and to no other client.
Here’s how one clinic might use it. It’s only an example — you would describe your own caseload, appointment rules, reminder timing, and plans.
Biscuit, a nine-week-old puppy, is added to the Ashworth household next to their elderly cat. The vaccine series is scheduled from the first shot.
At weeks 12 and 16, each due shot triggers an email with a booking link that fills the right vet’s column. The front desk does not have to call.
At month six, the Ashworths join the $29-a-month plan. Routine visits check in against it, and receipts use the clinic’s template.
At month eight, a renewal charge fails because the card expired. Retries run, emails ask for an update, and staff can see the plan status.
At 9 p.m. after neutering, an owner asks a post-op question. The agent answers from Dr. Okafor’s aftercare sheet and offers a next-day slot when the question needs a professional.
Every shot, note, weight, and invoice sits on Biscuit’s record, and the annual reminder is already queued.
Kliv builds from your description, so the more detail you give, the closer the first version. Include your household structure, appointment book, reminders, plans, and portal rules. Here are three to build on:
Pets grouped under clients, with billing and portal access.
“Build a veterinary practice system where pets are grouped under client households. One household should share billing, see all its own animals in a portal, and never see another household’s records.”
Per-vaccine intervals and booking links.
“Add vaccination schedules per vaccine type. Compute due dates from the patient record, send automatic email reminders three weeks before rabies and ten days before kennel cough, and include a booking link that fills the right vet’s appointment column.”
Monthly plan with live status and failed-payment recovery.
“Add a $29-per-month wellness plan for routine care. Show the plan status at check-in, retry failed payments on a schedule, email owners a card-update link, and close the plan only on the timeline I choose.”
The owner portal uses end-user identity and row-level rules. A household signs in with email and password, Google, or a passkey, and reaches only its own animals.
The clinic-authored agent is grounded in documents you provide: aftercare sheets, food transitions, dental recovery notes, and the signed-in household’s own records. It stores conversations in your database, so the clinic can see what worried owners asked and write better handouts. When a question needs clinical judgment, the agent offers a booking instead of advice.
A clinic is also an appointment business. The rest of that family — salons, studios, and workshops — is on the services page.
Kliv is an AI that builds custom web apps from a description. You tell it what you need, it builds the app, and you own the result. For this page, that means a veterinary practice system with households, patients, appointments, vaccine reminders, wellness plans, and an owner portal.
A real app. Kliv builds the database, the logic, and the screens for your specific case. It is not a pre-made theme you fill in.
Yes. You ask for changes in plain words and Kliv updates the app, without starting over.
Yes. The app can run on your own domain and go live as soon as you build it.
Yes. The code syncs to your own Git repository, so leaving is a git pull, not a rebuild.
No. It answers from documents your clinic wrote and from the owner’s own pet records. When a question goes beyond that scope, it offers an appointment.
No. Every patient row belongs to a household, and the database serves each household only its own rows.
The charge retries on a schedule while emails ask the owner to update the card. If nothing is fixed, the plan closes on the timeline you chose.
Yes. The reminder can include a link that books into the right vet’s appointment column.
Yes. Internal notes stay inside the practice unless you make a note visible in the owner portal.
Yes. You describe the columns, and the data becomes rows in your app’s database.
Yes. Owner accounts can use email and password, Google, or passkeys, depending on what you choose.
