    Reporting Abuse

Kliv hosts user-built applications and websites. We take reports of abuse seriously and act expeditiously when published content meets our criteria for removal. This page explains what to report, how to report it, and what happens next.

    What to Report

Please report any of the following hosted on Kliv:

    • Phishing. Sites that impersonate login forms, banks, payment processors, or other services to steal credentials or financial information.
    • Malware. Sites distributing or linking to malicious software, including drive-by downloads, browser exploits, or credential stealers.
    • Active fraud or scams. Sites designed to deceive visitors into sending money, cryptocurrency, or sensitive personal data.
    • Government or institutional impersonation. Sites pretending to be government agencies, courts, law-enforcement bodies, or other official institutions.
    • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
    • Threats, harassment, or doxing targeting an identifiable individual.
    • Copyright infringement. Use our DMCA process — see DMCA Policy.
    • Trademark or other IP infringement. Submit to the email below with details.
    • Security vulnerabilities in Kliv itself. Email security@kliv.dev rather than the abuse address.

    How to Report

Email abuse@kliv.dev with the following information:

    • The full URL of the site, page, or content at issue.
    • A clear description of the violation and which category above it falls under.
    • Any supporting evidence — screenshots, message headers, transaction records, links to authoritative sources confirming the impersonation, etc.
    • Your name and contact information so we can follow up if needed. (Anonymous reports are accepted but harder to verify.)
    • If you are reporting on behalf of a rights holder or other organization, your role and authority to act.

    What Happens Next

    • We acknowledge legitimate reports and review them promptly.
    • For verified active abuse — phishing, malware, CSAM, active fraud — we remove or suspend the offending site expeditiously and may terminate the account.
    • For copyright complaints submitted under the DMCA, we follow the DMCA notice-and-takedown procedure, including counter-notification.
    • For trademark and other intellectual-property complaints, we contact the affected user and require a response or remediation.
    • If we determine a report does not concern actively illegal or actively harmful content, we may decline to act. Kliv is a platform; we do not adjudicate disputes about ethics, intent, or potential misuse of otherwise-lawful applications.

    Repeat Violators

Accounts that repeatedly host content meeting our removal criteria are subject to suspension or termination consistent with our Terms of Service and our DMCA repeat-infringer policy.
